Topic: It drives me crazy !!
Subject: Yee

Thanks Lysk! I'll get better eventually... After all that mess I finally got down into a house in the valley instead of the mountains and the power outage followed me! Along with the snow! We just got a record breaking amount of now at such a low elevation (an elevation that NEVER gets snow)... and of course it's only because I was being bothered by snow at the time and it wanted to make my life more miserable... It turned out beautiful, though.. just thought it was funny..

And fishtailing is not life threatening if you're starting out at a standstill... But I have to say, it's considerably less fun without the risk-of-death factor in there

Topic: It drives me crazy !!
Subject: My weekend..

When I forget to buy chains for my suv and a huge storm hits and I'm stuck ontop of a hill and the power goes out and naturally, I forgot to hook the generator back up to the house so I have absolutely no water because I have no elctricity (for days mind you), and ontop of it all I have a massively terrible cold and a tree has fallen across my dirveway which I have to move with my bare hands because I can't find the axe, hachet, or hand saw... I eventually had to walk the MILES to asphalt WITH the massively terrible cold IN a few feet of fresh snow carrying a bag FAR too heavy... and the second storm hits while I'm walking down the road and I'm suddenly in a semi-blizzard..

Oh and by the way... I fish tail for the heck of it.. Hillbilly entertainment value..

I haven't cut my hair since 7 years ago... and no, it's not long. My hair has boycotted the whole growing concept. And I swear every strand of my hair is a different colour, so don't even bother asking.. Yee!

A little late on this one...
I like my hot dogs as polish sausages with relish, mustard, and butter on the bun
I was born with solid black eyes (satan's child to be sure) and they have changed many times throughout the years.
My fingernails are just long enough to do some damage to anyone after my M&Ms, but not long enough to be girly.
Cheers!

Character Inventory:
Always Always at least two fighting/survival knives. $100 stuck in her boot. A set of two dogtags in her pocket along with the keys to her ’95 Isuzu Rodeo that had been surprisingly kept in good shape and even more surprisingly for a low price. Her trusty SUV was stocked with a well supplied first aid kit, another knife just in case, a flashlight, duct tape, a set of two-ways, a lighter, a blanket, and food and water (a basic emergency supply list). Her wallet was tucked in the back pocket of her favorite jeans and contained her driver’s license, ATM/Credit card, and $23.50. A full packet of plain M&Ms is also a vital possession.

Character Background:
Had a fairly normal family, though she didn’t spend much time with them. Plenty too many hours were spent in the company of Devin, a much older man than she, who seemed to know everything about anything “special forces worthy” and she never dared ask why. His influence over her life was great, having taught her the basics of knife fighting (only because she annoyingly never stopped asking him when he would show her how) along with standard military hand to hand combat. He left unexpectedly and disappeared when Alora was 16, leaving only his dogtags behind and a letter that read “forgive me.” She had never understood why. At the age of 17, she got her GED early and enlisted straight into the military on a 10-year contract in order to learn how to fly a helicopter--one of her earliest dreams that was only strengthened by Devin. She acquired an AS college degree while serving her time. Strangely, at the age of 22 she dropped out of the military only a short while after having finally just begun her true training in becoming a pilot. She cut off all contact with her friends and family and abruptly bought a place of her own in rural Upstate New York to disappear for a full year, swearing she would never tell a soul why her sudden change of heart. After finally emerging from her small shack of a cabin, she found a job and now makes a meager living off waiting tables at a nearby restaurant and generally doin a fine job of keeping to herself.

Subject: Nature vrs Nurture

I suppose I'm a mix for that question. In general I tend to look at things objectively, accepting and disreagarding things based on what I already know and the credibility of the information and its source... But I know I mostly tend to lean toward the acceptance side, and question things later when I'm bored.. maybe this means I'm just too intellectually lazy to go around questioning everything, heh I wouldn't put it past me... But give me the right persoon to listen to and I'll not question a single word they say, just accept it for truth and move on even if I happen to know they're wrong. Contradictions- they seem to love me.

For the other questions ye asked, that's the whole argument behind Nature vr Nurture... How much is pre-determined by genetics and how much has to do with how you were raised... I believe in a balanced mix of both, not the extremes of one way or another.

How many different ways can you say amazed? It's a great honour.. to say the very least... and I thank you very much.. *chuckles* bit of an understatement really.. um, speachless heh...

But apparantly I should write more to get all you other peoples writing, it's awesome how you guys take those sentences and just twist and shape them into somethin stunning.. This was a fantastic idea Lyskhala, especially making it so each person can put their own individual spin on it.. Not only does this thread of yours help to inspire other people, but it also gives us a chance to practice fluffing up sentences and getting ideas from other members of this Inn's unique persepctives..*Smiles*
And Death, you really took that out to a great level.. all of ye did if I may say so...

*Gets all puffed and proud and snooty* As Founding inspiration to this thread, I say... Carry On good masters of the quil... pen... keyboard.... thing..

(And Death, of course ye love me! I'm the Great Drasia!.. seriously though, the both of us miss ye greatly.. where's the fun without the LSD!?)
