Wolverine...

would be my 2nd choice...

Wouldn't a movie with Batman & Wolverine be fanfriggintastic?!

No

No, a movie with Wolverine and Batman would most certainly not be fantastic. It would be cheap.

Know what's awesome?

Wolverine is Canadian. I checked. Also, looks like he's winning thus far. Interesting.

Although I've already thrown in my vote, I would like to just plug my top 5 list here, just for the record, as completed yesterday after much research and opinion having.

1)Spider-Man
2)Batman
3)Wolverine
4)Iron Man
5)The Flash

Yeah Wolverine is Canadian. Although he's also awol from a Canadian Special Forces/Superhero team.

If we're allowed second votes, I'll go for Judge Dredd.

hrm

I am of the rare breed of geek who loves games and gaming, but never got into comic books. Sure, I like a good superhero tale, but I just could never immerse myself into comics.

That being said, I've always thought that both the Green Lantern and Iron Man were awesome.

My most prosperous thread to date!

Judge Dredd is indeed awesome. So here's a question, Olan. If you're not all that into comics and stuff, isn't someone like the Green Lantern kinda out of your way? What made you choose him over more mainstream folk like Batman or one of the X-Men?

lantern

I blame Saturday morning cartoons for this. I guess I was introed to him via one of the various "Justice League" type series, and he kinda struck my fancy.

Hrm, now that we talk about it, Cyclops does make my top five.

Here's a twist...

How about villains? Anyone got any opinions on their favorite supervillians? After all, as the saying goes, a hero is only as good as the villian he has to face.
As you can probably tell from my Halloween costume this year, I have to put the Scarecrow (of Batman fame) at the top of my list. Followed by Venom I'd say. Comic-style Venom, mind you. I don't think he was rightly done justice really in the movie.

Magneto is pretty cool basically because his villainous behaviour is rooted in its own logic.

But Venom is awesome. He is the dark shadow of Spidey.

Villains

My favorite villain is Doctor Doom. Don't know why, might be the cloak.

A Batman+Wolverine movie would be as cheap as any DC/Marvel crossover in my oppinion. Plus, if that movie were real, they'd spent 70-90% of that movie focused on Batman and Wolverine duking it out on the streets. Both would think the other is working with, or is, the bad guy. They can't easily work together and the movie would spend too much time focusing on their personal problems than at the actual, world-scale, problem that would most likely be focused on Gotham city. Speaking of villains, who'd be the villain in this movie? Batman's villains are too powerless against Wolverine and Wolverine's villains are too powerful against Batman. And don't start with the whole Batman-beat-Superman thing, kryptonite doesn't work on everybody.
In the end, if they would make a Batman/Wolverine crossover movie, it would suck.

Yeah there's no way Batman could compete with Wolvey. He is a psychopathic killing machine, with a mutant healing factor after all.

And yes DC/Marvel crossovers are all crap. I don't read comics much anymore, but I remember glancing at the Avengers/Justice League crossover some years ago. It was pants.

ha

I've always liked Ollie Queen, better known as Green Arrow.

He invented a kryptonite arrow. Win.

As for villains, I've always been a fan of Solomon Grundy. Zombie Frankenstein? No contest.
