Well the Nazgul would be the rider, sort of a deathkight. In Lord of the Rings they were the 9 Kings that were control by the Ring.

We need to check Teleport, I think there are too many of us to carry. There is a weight limit beyound that of the caster.

The Nine are corrupted by the nine rings that Sauron forged, and they weren't all Kings. 3 were (unnamed) Lords of Numenor and one an Easterling king (the origins of the rest aren't explained). Do you think Tann's versions will be Death Knights or something even more nasty?

As for Teleport, Ulthok can teleport himself and 400 lbs and Maggot can do himself and 700 lbs. So you're probably right unless we all start on a crash diet. If only Sirene knew the spell!

Ok first off my "9" are nothing like Tolkien’s Nazgul, they were the last of the Valar, other then Althena and her Dad Allanan, who were tricked and turned by the Dark King as posted in the history. Each is different in some way but not wretched looking creatures like the Ring Wraiths. I created them more from a combination of evil characters from Dragonlance that worked for the goddess Takhisis and another series of novels called the Black Company that had 10 evil Lords and Ladies working for a evil god like sorcerer king who was interned in a large grave. Once you encounter one you’ll understand what I mean. They call them selves the Wraiths of Shadow, or ‘Shadow Wraiths’ in part due to their vanity and the fact they follow a King known as the Shadow King or Dark King.

Just a side note the Dragonlance Novels staring Tanis Half Elven is where I got the idea for my avatar name of Tann’Talas.

As for Teleport you also need to know the place where your going and since none of you have ever been to Craggian Core before, that’s a no go.

Brianna you asked about your mount with Raven lets give him a chance to answer first. Also if your thinking you can mentally call her, you can’t, you and Ariel do not have that type of bond ok. If she was within hearing distance a whistle or shout could work. As for shape changing into one, as Ginafae already stated, a Pegasus is a magical creature, not a natural one.

I was thinking more of teleporting to the nearest town, rather than Craggan Core. Since the info by Ayreon is now out of date, we don't actually know what may have occurred since he was sent to look for us.

But anyway, the weight issue rules out teleporting as an option.
