Welcome All.....
Well if Ulthok has to lead this will get a bit different. He is an awful flirt accept in combat. Hewill respect each party member as a party member, they won't be male or female as he sees them. Now he'll enjoy the he / she stuff but he'll expect each to be a party member.
So let's go!

Welcome
Welcome all!
As for the leadership issue, why don't we just give up on the idea? I'm not sure it worked well when Keeper/Cor was in charge. It led to some odd stuff in combat, and our best moments were when we worked out plans together.
If we need a party 'face' we can adopt one according to the situation. That could be (Jessica when dealing with aristocratic humans, Sirene with elves, Ulthok with the 'underworld', Weaver with any lunatics we come across (joke!) etc.

Sound About Right.....
Ulthok is CG so that is most likely how it would work out. I think what Tann had more in mind was the contact back to the King to assign the mission and report back. There is a diffenece between Leader and Director. Ulthok is rogue and leadership by default is more like making Han Solo leader. A rogues idea isn't always the best, but it's what they know. Survival is a big thing with them, the hidden hero is another.
As a player I like talking out ideas in Q&A and then trying them out in game. We have had our best success doing that. Coordinate attacks work better so we have each other's back. Also other players see pitfalls in ideas that we my miss.
So Ulthok doesn't want to be King and niether does Ody. We both do like to have an idea of what the others in the party plan to do. Sort of like you can do as you please but let others know so we can advise, help or stay out of the way.

Leadership
I was mostly joking about Ulthok being the leader. I dont think a rogue would be a good leader. Overall, a leader isnt necessary but a spokesperson is usually a good idea.
Ok, now to posting. Are people in the Dining area retreating? I need to know really before I post, also is Peri going to do a fly-by to lead her towards the exit. Everyone else knows the layout of this place but Jessica is new to this house.
Once I know these things then I can post her actions, which might be a strategic retreat but she wont leave people behind. She would favor a move which would give them a advantage so that only so many of their adversaries can attack at once.

Hasty Retreat?
Leaving the room is good. Two good things could be 1.) Getting away from the badies, 2.) Helping Rayne.
I will do a quick Peri post to have her appear to Jessica.

Come one come all!
Thanks for the Heads up Ginafae my post has been duly changed.
Welcome to the new players. I am looking forward to the new and fresh experience!
Finally, as for the leader role I think that having no leader is probably best for the group right now. Either one will emerge or the group will make democratic decisions. However, if a decision needs to be made quickly Ulthok should probably make it as he is the most experienced and (hopefully) wisest.

FYI.............
I figured out I can read and post here at work, but I can't get to PM's or the drop down menus. So if you see me on during the day and I don't respond to a PM I'll get to it when I get home at night.
I can open an item from the Latest Update List and then jump to related item in there like from a story post to the Q&A.

Yeah...
We haven't normally had the chance to search after a battle!
It's normally been a case of: "Arghh! The temple is collapsing!" or "Crap! The Armies of Darkness are about to smite us! Run!!"

ahhh yeah Whatever Gina
Ring improves wearers AC by 2 and with the expenditure of 1 charge (Has 9 left) casts a Major Globe of Invulnerability. However unlike the two lesser Globes this protects wearer from 1st-5th LvL spells and cannot be recharged. Can be used by any class and is not alignment based.
And the Ring should actually read Ring of Major Invulnerability.

Hello!
Hi guys, I guess I can say I'm your new Cor.
I was just wondering for my post, would you prefer if I do one big post with all the times, or a couple smaller ones so I can interact more?

Up to you
SirSadaar that's up to you but I have found the more you interact the more the other players get to know you the player.
They already know Cor but we want them to know you.
