Three cure serious wounds on Ulthok, and two heals on Aliya...we love our members! Great posting everyone!

I'm slowly getting into the character, hard to accomplish but working on it.

The Good Badboy......

Ulthok is an old time Gentleman Rogue. He protects those around him the best he can without treating them with arrogance. He is most greatful to his companions.

Nice, very nice

Good Lady CDNFlirt you are doing a fine job. I would also like to say a round of fine postings from all our posting this week.

I wonder if the Lurkers feel the same way? Hmmmm

Peri And Valene Pic.....

Well as size wise, I figured it closer because Valene is a Halfling and a small character. Peri sitting would be about 6" tall, so the relitive size might seem closer.

Peri's size

Ody I think size wise your mistaking Peri for a Pseudodragon as they are about that size where Peri is a faerie dragon. Think of Tinkerbell from Peter Pan, Peri is her size and like her has butterfly wings but of course with the body of a dragon instead of a girl. She is that small but unlike Tinkerbell she cannot grow larger unless she casts the spell Enlarge on herself.

Before I forget

Nimu & Astrid you both also have a familiar so if you want me to add a pic for Niamedris and Xin just get me a pic and I'll add it to your character sheets just as I did with Peri.

A suggestion

Weaver, shut the door!

Seriously, does someone have a spell that could seal the door or the opening? Put up some kind of wall; the opening is only 14' wide.

Just a thought.

shut the door?

i have a lvl 4 ice wall.

Ice plane. When this spell is cast, a sheet of strong, hard ice is created. The wall is primarily defensive, stopping pursuers and the like. The wall is 1 inch thick per level of experience of the wizard. It covers a 10-foot-square area per level (a 10th-level wizard can create a wall of ice 100 feet long and 10 feet high, a wall 50 feet long and 20 feet high, etc.). Any creature breaking through the ice suffers 2 points of damage per inch of thickness of the wall. Fire-using creatures suffer 3 points of damage per inch, while cold-using creatures suffer only 1 point of damage per inch when breaking through. The plane can be oriented in any fashion as long as it is anchored along one or more sides.Magical fires such as fireballs and fiery dragon breath melt a wall of ice in one round, though this creates a great cloud of steamy fog that lasts one turn. Normal fires or lesser magical ones do not hasten the melting of a wall of ice.

i dont know if i cast it in a smaller area if that would make it thicker??

also if weaver closes the door and i cast it would it add an extra obstical? or would it make a diffrence?

Spells.............

Yes a good time for area spells but Aliya is too far away this round to cast into the room.

Weaver can cast now, Sirene, Rayne, Ulthok and Valene are close enough to move up behind, look in and cast. If we knew our battle sequence we could RP a great series of attacks.

Goblins have sensitive eyes so Ulthok could cast a "Sun Burst" from his wand that would Temporarily blind a bunch and slow the attack. Followed by spells like a fire ball and chain lightening from the others as the Goblins paused. A wall of force or such last to lock them in as the fire burns in the room. Even without the Sun Burst we could rain fire and lightening.

Peri could cast last a wall of force to close them in.

We would need to get to the doorway so we can see in to direct our spells. This sort of like when we united to cast wall of fire against the bugs in the mountain.

Ok, that's just a first blush at an attack idea.

Peri.......

I see what you say about size. I was taking it from the M Manual that said 1' to 1 1/2' in size. So I picture a 6" tall body and 6" long tail.

So it's more like 3" tall with a 3" long tail.

Ok, pretend Valene is holding a magnifying glass, lol.

Shoot the door… the door pulls to me, the usual locking function of these old doors would be to bar them. I can shut the door if the horde of little green bastards chooses to bar the door for us. (would like to say the last was in complete jest and under stand the hint of shutting the door was also in jest)

The wall of ice…

Can it be thicker? The example only gives example of adjusting the height and length of the wall and states the ‘The wall is 1 inch thick per level of experience of the wizard.’ This would lead me to believe you cannot make it thicker. Before casting this spell I would make sure you give height and length of the wall and be pretty sure it will fit. Because if the wall does not fit it will be up to Tan to decide the direction of the leftovers and we know his bent of spells, or at least our track record with spells.

As for me closing the door and then you casting the wall? If I close the door and you cast the wall the wall will have to fit in the hallway with us and not in the room with them. Inside the room if magic fire goes off, it will steamy fog up the room and very little of the hallway.

The casting of the wall of ice by one so recently experienced in casting wall spells I would think the Lady could pick a starting point and then say something like down to the stone floor and going up to a height of 12ft and then extending equaling left and right to a total of 120ft long (this is only an example as a 120ft long wall would not fit in this room from the numbers given in recent post by Tann). You might be able to go 60ft long 24ft high. Both the walls would be 12in thick.

Tan how high is the ceiling in the room with the horde of green things? Weaver can glance up very quickly. How high is the ceiling in the hallway? The maps are a bit deceiving to say the least, but are good for reference. How wide is the room of green things? It is long as it goes beyond sight.

Brainstorming in Table Top Mode C

Magic Spells…

A flurry of magic attacks would be nice as for casting from where people are; I would think I could for sure. Cor could but not very effective. Ayila being to the left of Cor could see in the 14 foot wide door and see almost half of what is facing us. Lother being even further left could see even more then Ayila. Weaver knowing well enough those he travels with could drop to one knee upon hearing the arcane words from those behind him. Rayne and Valene would have to move and close to the door as stated by our Master Ulthok. Could Ulthok cast this round? If so he would have to close in my mind also. As for Sirene from her angle she could see inside the 14 foot wide door and see a bunch of Goblins and several leaders and perhaps a sub-chief.

For Weaver’s input of spell options, I have ‘Fireball’ and ‘Lighting Bolt’ very big effective spells. There is also ‘Burning Hands’, a low level spell making it easy to cast from one knee. This would be bright and possibly push back the front line giving just a bit more room from the door to the line of green things.

The Photo shoot

I would think Peri would puff up a bit to look bigger. Also we all know the camera put on 5 pounds.
