BTW, Tann I thought controlling the shadows wasn't an action. That's why I had the bow attack in there too. When this spell is cast, the wizard conjures up one shadow (see the Monstrous Manual) for every three levels of experience he has attained. These monsters are under the control of the spellcaster and attack his enemies on COMMAND. The shadows remain until slain, turned, or the spell duration expires.
To me that means whenever you want them to do something other then what you wanted them to do when you first summoned them, example moving SH #4 to attack I #5 you have to give it a mental command. In doing so just like casting a spell or using a psionic ability it costs an action.
AND how soon it Peri back in the game? As stated below 12 rounds which is now down to 10 rounds or 1 turn
------------------------------------------
Barreel is stunned for 7 rounds
Rayne is stunned for 5 rounds
Valene is stunned for 4 rounds
Peri and Niamedris are both stunned for 12 rounds or 1 turn/2 rounds as they took the full brunt of the attack with no defense due to their ability to speak mind to mind with their masters.
Shouldn't all the stunned be up now? Didn't we just finish 2 turns? NO this is only the end rd 2 of this fight.
Ok here I must admit I fudged a few things to get Rayne and Barreel back into the game quicker as they had acquired active players.
When I originally rolled for how long they would be stunned Barreel, Rayne, and Valene had no active players. Eol was still not 100%, I was NPCing Rayne and Kriea was and still is dealing with family matters. So it was easier for me since Barreel and Rayne failed their saves to have them and Valene, who actually made her save, put out of action. Then Eol told me he was ready to go and I talked Mischief into trying Trilogy once more.
So as I did not want them to have to sit and wait a month or more to start posting, and for fear they would in that time decide not to play, I used Barreel’s stamina and a Cure Light from Cor as an excuse to negate the stun effects and bring them both into play.
I call it DM’s prerogative
