Been looking through the books and not sure there is a way to find out if an item is cursed until you use it, wear it etc...

If anyone finds such a spell or way in 2nd edition please let me know.

Been searching too. Not finding a Detect Curse yet either.
Can Remove Curse but how do you detect?

You can try to Remove a curse but no way to detect it.
You guys are gonna need to be damn sure you want to use or wear any of the items you found.
Not saying they are or are not cursed but its possible.

Could you just try to "remove curse" even if your not sure if one is there in the first place? Would you know if your spell succeeded? Or if it met no resistance?

Ok, Lothor will take the basilisk potion and the ring of the ear as listed. He would also request one of the potions of healing. I'll write a post about this in about 5 minutes.

If I have time tonight I will also look to see if there are other items he is dreaming about that he might want to purchase if they are available, but since I haven't had time to do so yet, there is no sense delaying things hoping I have the time.

I probably will not have the Time to write a follow up response to Lothor from Roan regarding the Potion of Extra Healing, so just include in your Update Tann that Roan gladly departed to his Private Prayer to Commune with Odin with just the one Potion of Extra Healing.

He is glad that Lothor has claimed the other Potion of Extra Healing and views the move as a Strategic Choice.

I've posted that items not claimed will be placed back in the bag of holding. They should not be left in the past.

I'll try to keep a list of uncliamed items in our bag. The poison dagger and other weapons will go there too.

Do me a quick favor and post a final list of who took what as I'll be running all day today. That way I can add them to sheets tonight after my post.

Also after thinking about adding an 8th player to Trilogy I have decided not to do so. You seven have been the most consistent in posting and keeping me up to date on Real life issues where it concerns this game. I honestly do not want to mess with this great interaction.

Lothor is wearing a ring of free action - doesn't that protect him from hold spells?

Astrid, Xin as he is in his bottle would not be affected by the mass hold unlike Peri and Niamedris who are held.

Nomad didn't you trade the Free Action ring for the one of Regeneration? I do not see it listed on the Inn's character sheet or my backup copy. And I can't remember if you had one.

Where did you first acquire it as it's possible I forgot to add it.
