I Am So Sorry........
I was on the road for business. I was traveling last Sunday and down in Mexico a Monday and Tuesday. Traveling back on Wednesday. I TOTALLY missed Tann's post. I'll be honest, Ulthok most likely would have encouraged a fight to free the humans and elves. He'd have judged that the freed slave would be the ones to sack the city. Maybe get Aliya to use her book to create a Mitheral Golum the fight thre our Golums and help the slaves.
But not time left to discuss, seems the party has agreed to move on.
I'll post something yet tonight.

Best of intentions
As the player who made the first comment leading towards inter-party conflict, I want to stress that in no way were my comments ever intended to be anything other than roleplaying. I also never thought the comments would be something that Lothor or the party couldn't overcome. I was aware that it might ruffle feathers a bit, but I didn't think it would break anything.
Anyway, I hope nothing was broken. I enjoy the game, enjoy Lothor and enjoy the others in the party. Merry Christmas to everyone and Party on!

Cor's comment were meant to drive home the point that the party must be 100% committed to each other. Unless posted in general discussion, everything I post is character. Sometimes I don't really agree with what the character does. Sorry if they were taken any other way. Hope everyone enjoys the Christmas break and then it will be "Game on!" in 2016.

To My Game Mates...........
It has been a wonderful time gaming with all of you in Trilogy. You have helped me to be a better writer and thank you for not getting too upset with me when I've sent out ideas. Me and Momma Bear wish you the best the holiday season can offer and may the new year bring you more good than challenges. If the challenges become difficult you can vent to the Old Werebear. Sometimes that is enough to help you get over the hump. Old Ody is your Bartender of the Red Dragon Inn and I'm cheaper than a shrink.
Thank you and may your deity bless you and a "Good Old Froth and Slosh" for all.
Ody

This was great RP conflict! I applaud and ask for more!
As the person controlling the character on the other side of the conflict, let me say that I thoroughly enjoyed all that was written. It was not taken the wrong way, at least on my end. These moments of conflict between characters provide rich opportunities for presenting these characters beyond one-dimensional sword slingers. Cor, Lothor, and Siréne are all very different people with vastly different world views. They are going to clash from time to time and that provides an enriching exciting opportunity for role play. It can't come to literal blows, but if some characters continue to distrust Siréne, I won't be offended (in fact I'll probably like it).
I will also add, that anything I post in-game is and will always be purely in character. It only underscores the enjoyment had in playing this game with all of you.
A wonderful holiday season to all!

rp not conflict
i like the char interactions with the rp. But i'd rather is it was more that our char's didn't internalize as much, an interacted a little more. Rather then have situations spring up randomly, which can devolve into inter party conflicts.

Thanks to everyone
For your feedback. Your feedback helps me run the game better and lets me know the general overall feeling of the players and that of course helps any concerns I may have.
Thanks I do appreciate that.

Intereaction
Just post and Cor will interact. Stories, background, ribbing, just daily conversation; anything is ok.

Oops.........
Sorry, I guess I should have said something before taking a parting shot.
Well do we run, fight, get creative? We can out run Dwarves and Gollums, but them Drow got skills...and magic.
This could be why the Drow are gone. Does Sirene have a Genocide spell?
So one way to stop fighting amoung ourselves is to have a common enemy...well I guess we've got that now.
I'm not too worried about effecting the future...I believe we already have. What we do is supposed to happen.

Hmmmm...
A question for the DM - do we have any sense of how far we need to go to get to the coast?
My first instinct is to run. If they don't know where we are, they won't know exactly which way we are headed. We might be able to get a decent head start before they find our trail.
But, on second thought, that seems like a bad idea. What happens if we get to the coast? We all pile in a boat and sail off? Do you really think a bunch of drow can't do something to a boat from the shore? Being in a boat seems like a good way to put a giant bulls-eye on the party. Lothor does not relish the idea of fighting on water while wearing armor - even without it, actually.
So after everything, I think Ulthok got us into a fight. Being on the top of the pit should give us an advantage. They have to come up to us. Of course, "they" might well include more of those mithral golem thingys. That almost makes me think drow are an easy opponent.

.
I am thinking the mages can teleport us to anyplace not here (someplace along the way we came). We then just make our way to the coast.

A plan?
I like that idea. How far have we come from the city?
It would mean we have to travel along the coast a bit (or out in to open water) before reaching the far point of this island since we wouldn't be walking to farthest point.
If we are doing this, can we leave the drow an unpleasant surprise of some sort before leaving? Or is that risking too much?

Hmmm...
I'm not crazy about the idea of teleporting back toward the city.
How about someone changes into a big bird, the rest drink a fly potion and then grab on as the bird flies all away rapidly.
That way no trail, rapid departure, get to the coast quickly, make the boat and sail off before of them find us.
