Awesome

And I had to smile as you posted exactly what I wrote up for you before you had posted. I had thought you were going to be unable to do a post, so I just decided to NPC that you would be most likely to raise him up as asked.

Good job

barrow and borrow

Just a quick check.

In the poem three times the first word is "borrow."
But once it is "barrow."

I just want to be sure - that is correct, isn't it?

Borrow a Barrow to Haul from the Burrow.....

Are you sure you didn't mean burrow...as to burrow or dig a hole?

To borrow is take something with the intent to returning it.

A barrow is a cart.

Barrow, burrow and borrow

And here I thought barrow might be the rights word - we did come down through a tomb after all.

And again we find ourselves in need of a plan

Tan - a uestion about the hole. This is above a door. What direction does the tunnel go? Normally I would expect an empty space on the other side of a door - another room or something. Does this hole seem to go into space that would normally be occupied by whatever is through the door? or does it go up or away from that space in some way? I was envisioning the hole being right at the top of the door frame - is this correct? In a spot like that it would be almost impossible for it to not open into the next room. I realize you can't, or won't, provide specifics, but am I envisioning it wrong? From what Ulthok can see, does it look like the tunnel goes into space in front of the door?

Well, unless Ulthok is volunteering to stick more than just his finger into this little hole, I don't think climbing through a little tunnel makes sense. I would suggest either:
1. We open the door of our choice.
2. We check out the pool more.

Pool

I vote we check out that pool more. Just from the detect magic spell we know it's got a unique magic signature. What do you all think?

I'm Game..........

I've kind of pushed you guys along a bit so I'm open to the wet options. Shall we toss in Cor to go exploring?

How did I miss that?!?!?

Somehow I have totally forgotten that I have a familiar. A Jin familiar.

I'm guessing he could either see further down the hole, or, he may know something of the type of pool in the giant's room, or at leastwhat the liquid may be.

.

Like any god dwarf, Cor is perfectly at home in any body of water; as long as it is ankle deep or less.

A familiar

I'd like to hear what Tann has to say about the hole based on the questions above, but having the Jin look a bit down the hole might be a good idea.

Jin........

Before writing that Jin is helping check with Tann to see if the Endure spell on Alyia also covered Jin or if he needs a separate spell. Being in the ring worn by Alyia MAY allow the spell to be on him too.

ASK FIRST!!!!!!

I'd hate to see Tann turn the little guy into a Popsicle, but Tann does require that details are covered.
