AH, AH, AAhhhhhh
Who said we head to rest in human form. If I changed into a bear or an otter I could have not suffered from the water or the cold and neither would my pack. Somehow I missed the bit about the conditions staying as bad as you say they were. I do not think anyone in therir right mind would have slept in such conditions.
DM REPLY In my last two game posts I have said that water covered the entire floor of the room and hallway till the next wooden door 100 feet away around a corner. Case in point this excerpt from my last post.
Beyond it the Paladin could see was a same type corridor as they had traveled before with a turn 40 yards distant to the West. The entire length of the corridor covered in a thin 2-inch level of water from the room’s runoff
this part removed just tonight as you had decided to rest other then move on
With this relayed back to the others, the party was ready and once again in single file formation, Ulthok once more in the lead, they began to move.
Quickly they covered the distance to the turn and then beyond, seeing another 60 feet of corridor, a same type wooden door at its end. The same task once again before them on opening it or not, some of the party earlier having called for a rest. However with the tightness of the corridor and the water covering it what manner of rest they could get was yet to be determined, if rest they did.
For now a third wooden door before them, behind it a possible third test..........… this part removed just tonight as you had decided to rest other then move on
As for the temp of the water considering it came from the melting of an Ice Wall I thought that would be obivious but I guess not in the future I will be more descriptive.
And yes as another form sure I could see that happening but you never said you shape changed, and yes, before you reply, I understand its because you did not know the whole scene.

Check PM
DM, please check your PMs. We were looking for a place to sleep. If we cannot find one OK but then our actions would have changed. Besides a wall of iron cast a few feet above the floor over half or the room would provide a dry place to sleep and Cor could cast such from his helm. Not to mention this is the first time you fully described the water depth and temp. Just curious, did the water magically remain in the room when the door was opened or is the entire hallway full of water also?
DM REPLY As stated above I did describe the fact that there was no place dry and even told you over the phone of the same last time we talked. As for a Wall of Iron sure you could I guess have laid it flat on the floor but you never posted that so for the moment it has yet to be cast.
Look everyone I try to go off of what your doing by your posts if you don’t post something it does not happen. There is no do over unless it was stated in a post and I missed it. I make mistakes, we all do, but from now on if you want me to be aware of something, post it, and I in turn will try to be more descriptive.
However in the interest of fairness I will say upon realizing the water was ice-cold and rest would be impossible no packs were placed into it and all useless or destroyed gear is ok. I will adjust everyone's character sheet tommorrow.
Also just to remind you if a characters player does not post then for my game post that week as DM the character becomes an NPC controlled by me.
In my last post for example I stated you left the room, which Keeper in his post said did not happen because there had been no post as such. He was very correct and as such I removed the part about the party leaving the room from my last DM post. My mistake my correction
One last point this is why we have a Q/A to ask questions as how cold is the water, how deep is it, are there any dry area's. You ask and I will be very happy to answer trust me
