non glow

Even with non glow the caster would get a sense that an item and not person is evil in my games.

Well

I don't care either way (and when it comes to fussing over rules I generally don't have an opinion, what the DM says goes).

However... I will say that if only Halia sensed/saw something that rose the hairs on the back of her neck a little from Maggot she would likely say something quietly to Cor their fearless leader.

Ok a minor correction

Ok everyone seems to have misread my post a little as it states that its a 'long wrapped object' on his back. The object in question is too long to fit in Maggots backpack.
Just wanted everyone to see that

Now as far as Detect Spells I have always played them as if Detection is successful the object or person glows for all to see. The only differance to that is if the Detection is an innate ability, like a Paladin's ability to Detect Evil, Then only the Paladin would see the glow.

Sure sure...

Excuses excuses... you were busy... you had the mumps... you had too much Captain... work got in the way... blah blah blah... you should at least come up with something creative from time to time. You know 'Sorry I couldn't post I was busy trying to survive the flesh eating virus I got while vacationing in a third world country with a one legged dwarf...'

Meri's psychotic...

...I mean psychic! She's got like ESPN or something!

Anyhoo... finally got a "sort of" post up... not much, I guess, but I did squeak in just under the deadline. *sigh*

Post delayed till tommorrow

Ok I must apologize for this delay but my head is pounding from all the yelling that went on around me and by me and I have to get up early in the AM anyway. My post tomorrow will not be a long one more so as a recap as the party at the moment seems divided as to Maggot staying or going.

Haha, excuses eh?

But Tann, your football team was eliminated LAST round... why was there screaming this time?

Or do you jump ship that quickly?

moving on

In the interest of gettign us moving on and knowing that we are not going to actually drop a player from the game can we please "agree to play nice in the sandbox" so we can get going again? This is going on almost a month just standing around this room. RP is great as long as it doesn't grind the game to a total halt.

moving on..

Hey Im not trying to keep anyone from playing.. Im just playing my character as I imagine him.. he isnt stopping anyone.. so if you want to move on then all Cor has to do is agree to let him come... sorry if it delays anything but RPing is what it is and sometimes things slow down.

If Kenji is too much of a bother .. the Dm can always kill him off.. but I play my characters as I see them.

My take on this

Of course we want to move on but the point is we have characters whose personalitites that we havecreayed for them are as much a part of the game and the reason for playing, as the story line.

Gotta agree...

...with Bri and Ye Olde, here.

It obviously isn't easy for the individuals of this group to abide the presence of the "evil sword" which Maggot carries regardless of how they feel about Maggot, himself, and to just gloss over that fact in the interest of "moving on" would seem downright foolish... what's the point in the evil sword, at all, if it's not debated, right?
