FYI

If you want other players to know then do as a quiet post if not do the PM. Always a chance someone "overhears" in RP. :-) Kind of like "thinking posts" can be used to jog other players to "remember" on their own stuff. ie "I wsh teh mage would cast detect magiv on this door before i look for traps" as a thought lets the mage player "have a feeling about the door" and cast. Very similar to plauer talk at a table top version.

Kenji Returns.. maybe!

Well Kenji will be back unless the Evil DM has done away with the helpless samurai

As soon as I get an update from ole mighty DM .. I will start working on a post if possible... he might be shadow food by now.. as the Marines say... "Never leave a man behind."

So I hope by next week to be posting again.

Do what you will

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(OOC: If it takes 8 hours for them to re memorize all of their spells, I was under the impression that a limited number, say half, could be re-prepared in that 4 hours. I know one set of rules states 8 hours for all spells, but I also remember reading in one book, (though I can't remember which) that individual spells could take 10 minutes/spell level to prepare if the DM allows for this. If this applies each caster could prepare 24 total spell levels in the given time. That was my assumption. Tann? Can I have an official ruling on this so I can potentially change my post accordingly?)

OOC reply

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tann plays a full 8 hours required to gain any new spells. I know you are new to his world so just trying to steer ya a bit in RP. :-)

In reply Keeper is rt it normally takes 8 hours of rest to learn or pray for spells though I do remember we onced used a spell called ~Nap~ till I ruled it out as I never was able to find the spells write up in any of my 2nd edition books.

If anyone knows where it is let me know and I will allow its use if it is indeed a 2nd Edition spell.

Post Edited--- DELTED>>>> GRRRR

I changed my original post to reflect the rule, and deleted my OOC question (as it probably should have been in the Q&A anyway).

Anyone who needs to edit their replies should remember to do that.

ARGH!!! I went to edit my post and must have clicked delete! Sorry about this everyone. I'm reposting... but the order might be a bit screwy.

All is good

Hope the style for Algrek has not upset anyone. All is good player wise.

As for healing spells, outside Algrek there is only a single heal and one Cure crit as major healing spells.

Not true.

If you look at the character sheets you will find that is not the case. Also, Tann corrected Bri's statement about the single healing spell and actually posted that she had about 6 (of various strengths) available. Unless of course I am misunderstanding the annotations.

Also, either I've forgotten or it is a function of where/when I jumped in to the game, but the way out of this room is... a door? A passage? Please clarify for me if possible.

As far as Algrak, I've made my view clear in the posts. Though I will warn you that oath or no oath I am getting a little annoyed. Alasdair isn't a baby sitter after all.

Thanks.

Ok Clarification

Ok first up to Steelight, yes the exits from the room are an opened wooden door and this new passage through the wall.

Ok to clear up the healing picture.

Cynil has the following spells 2 Cure Light Wounds
2 Cure Moderate Wounds
1 Cure Serious Wounds
2 Cure Critical Wounds
1 Heal

Conall has the following spells 2 Cure Light Wounds
2 Cure Moderate Wounds

Sirene has the following spells 1 Cure Light Wounds
2 Cure Moderate Wounds x 2
1 Neutralize Poison
1 Cure Critical Wounds
1 Heal

TOTAL HEALING SPELLS IN PARTY: 18

Also among the party are the following Extra Healing Potions

Althena has 1 Potion Extra Healing
Alasdair has 4 Potions Extra Healing
Conall has 1 Potion Extra Healing
Cynil has 1 Potion Extra Healing
Haila has 2 Potions Extra Healing
Maggot has 2 Potions Extra Healing
Rayne carries on her body 1 Potion Extra Healing
Sirene has 4 Extra Healing Potions

TOTAL # OF POTIONS IN PARTY: 16

Also the only 2 Mages in the party with no spells at all are Rayne and Maggot, as 1 is dead and the other was raised from being dead.
And on a side note Alasdair has also used all of his Paladin granted spells for the day.

Hope this helps clear up the Healing confusion ........

I love it...

the conflict is good.. and Algrek is just doing what evil does.. sow deceit and distrust... doing a great job.

Now I could have caused more of a problem with Kenji.. but decided to just go with the distrust and move the group along... I'm sure things will 'work out' in the end.

Ahh thank Tann. Last night it sill showed most party members with no healing spells on their list. All is good.

Question

I admit I kinda came into this thing in the middle, but was Kenji with the group when Alasdair was leading it before he literally went to hell? Why wouldn't Kenji know Alasdair? What reason would he have to be suspicious/untrusting?

As I said, I came in the middle of the game, with little knowledge of the relationships and who knew who before hand so please cut me a bit of slack on that account.
