Apology

Faroak sighed and said,"I wanted to apologize for what I said a few days ago. I didn't mean it. I just didn't want you to get hurt or do something you didn't want to do. I was also frustarted with myself that day so I wasn't in a tolerating mood. I'm sorry."

Faroak looked at the ground and then at Kari-Bliss.

...

She had on a blank face; there wasn't even the usual tugging at the corners of her mouth or the sparkle in her eye. Just blank... Like stone.

"Doesn't matter, you may have been right in the end..." She averted her eyes, chewing on her lower lip nervously, "Things haven't been working out so far. Next thing I know, I'm gonna be the first one to get attacked and be gone. Save you all trouble, won't it?" Kari-Bliss's voice was bitter.

She sighed and scooted away, the firelight catching the red in her hair and lighting it up bright auburn. "Forgive and forget; I don't care anymore."

Grr!!

Faroak watched in anger and sadness as she walked away.

"Nothing's ever good enough for you is it? I try to apologize and you don't care. I'm always treated the same way, like whatever I put effort into saying or doing doesn't even matter!" Faroak kicked a nearby boulder.

He was to angry to feel the pain. He was in more than he had ever been anyways as it was.

Snapped

Kari-Bliss turned on him, her face hard now. "OH YOU WANT ME TO CARE? WELL THEN, LET'S CARE!" She stomped forewards quickly and shoved him to the ground, eyebrows raised.

"Hmmmm?!? Maybe I DON'T care about apology BECAUSE the past belongs in the past! Get a grip on yourself, you're worse than CAIN!"

Quivering

Faroaks lip quivered in pain, then his face scrunched in anger. He squatted down and shapeshifted into a wolf. He ran as fast as he could in the opposite direction until he couldn't see the fire of there camp anymore.

Shattered

Kari-Bliss was shaking now and without thinking, put her hand on a tree trunk, only to scream when it suddenly shattered into millions of pieces. She crouched on the ground, hands over her hair, trying to even out her heart again.

This means I have to go find him now...
She sighed and closed her eyes.

Slowing Down

Faroak stopped and slowed down by a large tree with a hole in the side of it. He inspected the inside of the hole for any creatures or bugs or anything and transformed back into a human.

He squatted down inside the tree and put his head in his hands and just listened to the woods. Nature always cleared his mind. He thought of the seriousness of what he had done.

'I'm putting the mission in jeopardy,' he thought,'but they probably won't care anyways.'

He was so confused and didn't know what to do. He continued to sit and think of what to do.

Typical Bran

Bran had kept his distance when Faroak had asked to speak to Kari-Bliss, it really was none of his business anyway. Instead he pulled out the leather bound book he carried with him always and opened to the page he had last left off on. He was so lost in the book in fact that he never heard any of the telltale signs of their conflict, the raising of voices, or even the shattering tree and accompanying scream. Once he lost himself in a book he was dead to the world, and this book in particular had always held his interest more than any other, no matter how many times he read it cover to cover.

Gone hunting

Kari-Bliss eventually got off and headed out into the unknown, shivering slightly.

Now that she was away from the fire, light was limited, so without hinking her eyes turned reflexively into those of a wild cat's, allowing her to see. Kari-Bliss kept jumping at the smallest sounds, trying to figure out which way Faroak went, hugging herself tightly.

®Howling!

Faroak was standing now a good 5 or so minutes later. He decided it was best to go back to camp but knowing someone would be looking for him anyways no matter how unwillingly he shapeshifted back into a wolf. He stared into the moon and howled as loud as he could, trying to signal the others.

He kept howling, it wasn't just a signal, it released his pain and helped him calm down. He howled and howled waiting for someone to come.

((OOC: Like my trademark symbol in the title?))

Tresta stands after he had shed his last tear for his allies. 'The past is the past,' he thought, 'and I can not change that... even if I had the power to'. He had no knowledge of where or when he was, so his survival instincts kicked in. Tresta quickly decided that the most important thing to do was to find a water source. He knew that he was on the same planet, or at least a similar one in the same galaxy, because all of the celestial groups that he had learned remained intact in the sky. Tresta focused his energy onto the sphere on top of his staff. The sphere began to glow green, dim at first, but soon enough it was bright enough to light his way in this dark forest. Suddenly he hears a mighty ®howl (OOC: ) from what he had determent was west.

'Well, even beasts need water.' Tresta thought.

And with the past behind him and his destiny ahead, He made his way through the forest towards the howl.

Animal Senses Kicking In

Suddenly Faroak heard footsteps, snapping twigs and crackig leaves. He turned in his wolf form towards the noise and sniffed. He immediately smelled something different. Magic.

He quickly galloped towards the smell as quickly as he could. He thought it was Kari-Bliss and he knew she would have trouble getting to where he was if she ever did but then he noticed a different scent. It wasn't Kari-Bliss but it was magic.

'Who else would be out in the woods besides us?' he thought. He took a moment to think and decided to stalk the Witch or Warlock. He transformed back into his human form regaining his concious. He shivered and a chill went up his spine. He was becoming more animal like every time he changed, it stressed his body and mind out to make such transformations. Once he had a chance to rest, he sighed and transformed into a bobcat. He figured if he was going to follow someone he should be one of the most graceful predators.

Faroak used is hears and nose to sense where the person was going. Before long the person was visible to his cat eyes. He layed down in the grass best suited to his fur for camoflauge. He studied the person's features. He was a boy of around Faroak's age and he looked lost. Faroak deemed him no threat and followed silently behind him. Faroak was wondering if he would ever notice him, He always loved playing games with people, even in dire situations.

Fun and Games

Tresta's journey through the woods was nothing beyond his ability. He had tackled much harder terrain in the past. The sound of the bugs calling to one another was very peaceful to him and was helping him pass the time, but slowly the bugs seemed to fade away...

'That was amazingly fast!' Tresta thought 'This is no ordinary beast, I would have been attacked by now...' Tresta smirked to himself. 'This new world is already proving to be exciting.'

Tresta did not want the beast to know he realized his presents, so he continued to walk the way he did. Minutes had past and the beast kept up with him as he has been. Tresta could feel that this beast had a kind heart, but it seemed to be clouded. He decided to use that to his advantage, and provoke the beast. Tresta stopped in his tracks, and the beast did as well at the exact time (he only knew this because he did not hear a sound). And with his lie all composed and ready to go Tresta said in a strong voice.

"Flee you worthless beast, or I will end your life."

Tresta grab his staff with both hands and started focusing to slow time. He waited, with his back to the beast and a joking smile on his face, for a response.

Nearby

Kari-Bliss was nearby when she heardthem and flinched, instantly, then stood still, trying to pinpoint the location. She realized it was Faroak... But...

I don't recognize the other one.
She smirked when she heard a voice and her eyes flashed, "I'd like to hear you try and get him."

Spin Around and Hiss!

Faroak spun around and hissed when he heard Kari-Bliss' voice. He didn't recognize her voice right away, It sounded distant. At first he didn't see her but then he used his cat eyes and spotted her about 15 yards away. He turned back to face Tresta and layed down. He looked up at him and back around at Kari-Bliss. He decided that this teen could help them and that he would let Kari-Bliss meet him herself.
