Loaded Dice #58: Here I Come to Save the Day

Okay, FINALLY, we have a new comic.

This is, of course, my first attempt to fully color (well, save some special effects and Lyra's awesome background work) a comic. Please be gentle!

That being said, I'd love to know what you think about this comic - the good, the bad, the ugly.

Also, if you enjoy Loaded Dice, please vote the comic up at reddit.

Here's to two regular strips per week!

Well honestly...

I didn't notice much of a difference for the coloring, so you did a good job.

LOL

Pun-tastic!

Good job on the colors, too, boss! Can't see anything there that'd make me go "oooooh! he went outside the liiiiines!"

Also... I really liked the panel with the map and the shot of Jhim... good stuff, as always... voting this up as soon as I pick up a new laptop, get home and get it networked, and get all the crucials restored.

heh

The map was a fairly lame deal... I just used a portion of the actual map image from the module the gang is playing through. It turned out acceptibly, though.

Lame/shmame

It might've been an easy in kind of thing (or, probably more appropriately, a 'quick and simple' addition), but it totally worked for the flow of the strip and all that, you know?

DUR

Only one thing that bugs me... You shaded the inside of amy's mouth as though it were a lip, making her look like she has downsyndrom. lol

That aside, looks pretty good.

there ya go

I must have lost some lines - I had assumed Amy's mouth was drawn closed. I have improvised and corrected.

Woot

The color was fine. If it means more consistent output, all the better I say.

Also, in my D&D session tonight I totally pulled up the RPG Survival Guide from a few posts back. I asked the group if they were going to light a torch or not and instantly everyone got paranoid. I had to throw the comic at them at that point.

hmph

Psh, Ody, we believed in puns before you came along. The tagline for the comic is "Epic Adventure. Groan-worthy puns. Loaded Dice."

Also, Imiani deserved a as well.
