I saw Alacrity and Grugg online during that time. Alacrity knows who I am, but Grugg might not.

Sad that this would happen to someone who was here when the Inn was new. Big fish, small pond syndrome?

Because of a post with you as the postee filled with unwanted images and rhetoric here at the Inn. Now if this was not you let us know why that post was posted on the same day you came back and the ban on your former account may be lifted.

And if this is the real Mithrandir I hope this gets cleared up and you rejoin the Inn. However if its not, hacking a former Staff members ID will not be tolerated so please keep that in mind.........

I responded to your PM, Mith, as well as to the message you sent me on eBay (which seemed like an odd place to contact me).

The post getting killed by my staff is an action I approve of 100%. I've always held a PG-13ish standard for the Inn, and the first line of our TOS prohibits, among other things, hateful posts.

If you want to talk politics in the general forums, that's fine, but the cartoons are not appropriate for the Inn. Honestly, I doubt that you'll find a lot of interest in the politics stuff - this *is* an RPG community - but I could certainly be wrong.

Anyway, good to know that you are alive and well. Let me know if you'd like for me to reinstate your account.

Oh, as an aside - I'd really appreciate it if you didn't bash the commuity that you haven't been an active part of for years - the "downgrading" comment was pretty unfair. Remember that when you were deployed, we sent a card around the country to send to you, to let you know that we cared about you. You interests appear to have changed in the years away, which is fine, but it's not really cool to bash us if ours have not.

Olan's note: I don't manually check every single ad that runs on the site, but when I notice (or have it brought to my attention) that one is outside the boundaries of what we do here, I remove it and send the ad owner a polite message explaining why I have done so.
