Redo here

Gonna be a bit longer than I thought; had a post almost ready to put up, then Eol posted his, and we are apparently chewing on the same brain nugget-hehe. Gotta amend mine so's I'm not repeatin' most of his.

Bones..............

So as to not hold everyone more here are the bones of my post.
Started the post but here are the bones:

1. John bounced out bed by first boom.

2. Recieved general comm call Ensine on possible boarding breach.

3. Sent out orders to deploy teams on decks 21 ,22, 23, 24.
Main attention on 23 which is main Inpulse Engines and 24 is Life Support. Critical to support Engineering to keep flying and keep breathing.

4. Makes way to bridge to coorinate with Mac and others.

The will flesh it but ya'll casn build around that.

Whoo

Pretty much just had Lt. Leiran say what went through my mind after I read Eol's post thoroughly. Hope that's okay

Side note, if tachyon sensor technology is out of date for the setting, I'll just remove references to it in my post.

Graham

Jesse's next post up. Some possible soft tosses for Mac, sensor analysis peeps, and an attempt to stop the intruders with internal containment fields that can be addressed in t_catt's next post.

Actioneth packeded game here!

Are you really, really, reeeeaaaalllly sure?

Ody - good job getting decks 21 ,22, 23, 24 covered. Buuuuuuut... the 'unauthorized lifeforms' are on deck 11 and, per Mac's last communication to John, he wanted boarding suppression teams deployed there, pronto.

You can go with the post as is, of course, and John can get a taste of Mac's blustery side... or, you know, you could tuck in a bit about dispatching teams to deck 11 and get a "good wairk, Lt" out of it.

Juuuust sayin'...

Well...................

With a thick accent like that it hard to tell. To be honest didn't actually catch it in your post. Hard to see how we went from 20 thru 24 to 11.

I'll add to the stituation. John will hit the comm from the bridge to add the new information. It will go with his report and now next action.

-----------
Thought it slung, deck lovin,, with a missing word, so oopsy.

Got it fixed.

To clarify

The physical damage to the ship is on decks 20 to 24. The intruder alert came from deck 11. Presumably, an attacker wants to disable the ship, but not try to enter an area that could be exposed to vacuum due to the damage.

A word of caution

I may ask one or two players to do some minor revisions of posts. You by are doing awesome, but there may be factors that have not yet been made apparent.

Namely - no one else notices the bodies in the viewscreen

No worries, Ody...

I'll see what I can do about watering down the accent.

My post

I know it is kind of lame, but the counselor isnt much use in situations like this really. She is a pacifist and cant really do much beyond observe and wait to see what happens. She really isn’t much good in combat situations. Besides all your technical mumbo-jumbo is baffling to me. I watched STNG but I am no trekkie.

Not lame at all...

...I rather liked it, myself. Great little scene from the Counselor's POV.

Nitpick

Teller, I thought it was a great post. Exactly the kind of insight we want to see.

Ody - there are such a thing as marines in starfleet, but we do not have any on the Discovery. We have security.
