I'm the map

The body of the small goblin seems thin and gaunt, as if it died of starvation more than a disease. Still, beside many chests of flashy clothing, there is not much to see.

Then Wembley starts looking at pages on the floor. He picks one up, "Hey! We have been here." he picks up another, "And here!"

As the cidal gather up the pages he find more and more maps of rooms, some you have seen and some you have not. There are notes and markings on all of them.

Oh Dashing Clothing

‘Oh, Dashing?’ Mal looked at the chest.

"Hey! We have been here." he picks up another, "And here!" Wemberly was holding bits of paper.

Mal also helped gather up the bits of paper on the floor and hand them to Wemberly. When enough of the bits were picked up Mal would turn his attention to the open chests and the dashing clothing…

Great!!!!

Dudley saw the paper in Wembley's and dashed over to look closer. "Maps! Oh what great fortune! We can now figure better where to travel. We can easily find our way back to that wonderful dinning talbe. We should test them and find our way back to the dinning room!"

Yes

"Good thinking." Gamard told Dudley.
He was hungry again and needed to contemplate these maps. The troubling thing about them was the lack of an exit. He could only assume the way out of this dungeon would be hidden in one of the rooms they had not yet attended.

"It looks like there are two circular patterns in these rooms. We've been going about these here..." he pointed to the rooms they had already visited.
"We need to find out how to enter those other rooms."

He thought on that a little more and added: "We should check out the trophy room again. It's the only one with stairs. Perhaps the way to the other rooms lies there."

Where's the Beef!

With body turning out to be that of a thin and gaunt small goblin, Crow kneeled to check cause of death though not touching it. After a few moments he could tell that the goblin had most likely died of starvation more than a disease. Relaying this to the rest of the party he was just as happy that the paper’s scattered on the floor were actually maps. Hopefully these maps would help them to escape this magical maze of rooms.

"Hey! We have been here." As Crow looked over Wembley picked up another yet piece of the map, "And here!"
‘Oh, Dashing?’ Mal said as he started helping the Cidal pick up the rest of the scattered hand drawn maps.

As the Ranger watched Dudley having seen the paper in Wembley's hand dashed over to look closer. "Maps! Oh what great fortune! We can now figure better where to travel. We can easily find our way back to that wonderful dinning talbe. We should test them and find our way back to the dinning room!"

"Good thinking." Gamard told Dudley as he reached the Cidal‘s side looking over the maps for himself. "It looks like there are two circular patterns in these rooms. We've been going about these here..." he pointed to the rooms they had already visited. "We need to find out how to enter those other rooms. We should check out the trophy room again. It's the only one with stairs. Perhaps the way to the other rooms lies there."

“Agreed lets us journey back to the dinning room and once again nourish ourselves. In that time we each study these maps for any yet unseen secrets. Let us hurry back before something or someone else seeks to hinder us”.

With that said and the group agreed, Crow headed towards the East door. Getting there he waited for the rest of the party to join him before going through........

That's The Ticket...........

Dudley kept smiling as the maps were gathered. "You know it would be wish to sit and examine these maps. A place with a large table. How about we head back to dinning room. Maybe a little bite to eat while we set things in order."

The little Cid was nearly drooling at the thought of marvelious table.

Off to dinner and nothing to wear

Mal glanced up from the chests of clothing for a moment when he heard they were to be moving onto the dinning room. ‘Well if we are to dine we must have clothing for dinner.’ Mal scooped up an arm of clothing and moved toward the door.

In the dinning room with the candlestick

The party travels through the Eastern portal and arrives as the map predicted, through the north door of the Dining room. The room is the way you left it with the exception of the food is now gone. You now have a place to spread out the maps and see where you are going in this crazy maze of a place.

When the command is given to the table for food, nothing happens. The table remains bare.

“Whoa dude.” Ivan says, “Well at least I don’t have to face that terrible cat food again. Do you think we broke it?”

The room seems to be a bit dimmer. The fire in the fireplace appears to be burning lower even though it is magical and has no fuel.

eh.. what?

As the table didn't conjure the rich buffet it did before, Gamard started looking around. The fireplace seemed also less enthusiastic about sharing its resources. It got the Khord thinking:

"Ehm, guys... can magical energy run out?"

He was no expert on the matter and hoped one of his companions could shed some light on his fears. Assuming they were using magic every time they crossed a portal, and magical power DID run out, then eventually they would get stuck in one of the rooms. That was not a pleasant thought. At all!

.

"Magical energy usually doesn't run out but remember the note said the golem was broken. Perhaps it was what reset the table and kept the fire burning. Lets look at the map and pick our next move. I am open to anything."

Oh! The places that we could go!

Wembley spread the maps out on the table, his hands trembling with excitement. "Oh! Look at these maps! So detailed! There's so many interesting rooms! So many that we haven't seen yet!"

His eyes jumped from one page to the next, his mouth moving almost as fast, "He's got a library, and... and golem lab and... and... oh, look, Alon! He's even got an enchantment lab! Oh, we got to go see the enchantment lab! We just have to!"

"And, look, Dudley! Look, Gamard! A chapel! Don't you want to see the chapel! I bet it's dark and evil and mysterious. Maybe we'll have to tear down some altar to some wicked god. Oh, wouldn't your gods be pleased!"

The little mage tried to focus, to control his excited emotions. "Okay! Okay... it looks like we need to take... that door over there." He said as he pointed to the east door. "That should take us to the trophy room, which, by the looks of things, has this set of stairs here, and that will... lead us to all sorts of adventure!"

He looked up at the others, his eyes twinkling with glee. "Sound good?"

yep

Gamard gave the little Cidal a wink and replied: "Sounded good the first time I suggested it."

With that he went through the East door.

Awwwww man no food! :(

As it became clear to everyone that this time there would be no fest the Cidal's rolled out the maps on the empty tables.

"Ehm, guys... can magical energy run out?" Gamard asked as the Dwarf started looking around

Alondas was quick to reply to Gamard with his knowledge of magic.

"Magical energy usually doesn't run out but remember the note said the golem was broken. Perhaps it was what reset the table and kept the fire burning. Lets look at the map and pick our next move. I am open to anything."

Wembley along with Dudley have fully spread the maps out on the table, quickly cried with excitement. "Oh! Look at these maps! So detailed! There's so many interesting rooms! So many that we haven't seen yet! He's got a library, and... and golem lab and... and... oh, look, Alon! He's even got an enchantment lab! Oh, we got to go see the enchantment lab! We just have to. "That should take us to the trophy room, which, by the looks of things, has this set of stairs here, and that will... lead us to all sorts of adventure!" He looked up at the others, his eyes twinkling with glee. "Sound good?"

"A good choice indeed friend Wembley, if no one else has any objections let us hurry through it."

Gamard gave the little Cidal a wink and and turned to the rest of the party.

"Sounded good the first time I suggested it." With that he went through the East door followed almost at once by Crow....................

Yah But......

Dudley listened the Wimbley and tried to get a word in edgewise. But he never got word out until Gamard, Wembley and Crow were out the portal. "But if we go to the lab we might be able to fix the table....sigh."

He lowered his head and the cleric fell in line and followed.

Dudley is one smart wafer

‘Dudley, you keep talking. I don't know much about the arcane arts, not much use for it on the open seas, but if we do make it back to the lab then we will give your idea a thought.'

Mal then tapped Dudley, ‘Hey! If the golem is what causes this room to reset, what else might it cause? What if there is a bigger golem or some other thing that resets this whole place? If we find that we might brake the whirlpool we are stuck in that keeps dragging us down.' Mal then slapped Dudley on the back, ‘I like the way you think. Your god is a smart on, having a man like you in his service.' Mal then moved on to catch up.
