Kingdom of Ertain

Kingdom of Ertain

Ertain is the largest of the five human kingdoms, and is prosperous and strong. Rydor and Therrasor are the most popular deities, though all good gods are honored. King Jarom Strongblade is the sovereign. He is well-loved by the people, and is considered to be a fair and just ruler. While Ertain has been at peace for several years, King Jarom proved himself a brave and capable warrior in the wars prior to this peaceful period. Ethryn, the capital, is one of the largest cities in Antaron. Temples to each of the good gods can be found here, and smaller shrines to the neutral deities are alsofound in the city. The palace of the king is located in Ethryn, and the city holds a large harvest festival every year. Felarin is a city of magic and wonder. Some fifty-plus years ago, Tharandul Graystave, a mage of no mean ability, decided to build a tower and begin welcoming those who sought knowledge to come there. Since then, Felarin has grown dramatically, with shops dealing in magical components and wares, shrines to almost every deity, and most recently, an actual school of magic. The library of Felarin is considered to be an unequaled gem for knowledge and learning, as many who have come to Felarin have contributed their learning.
