I am all for going to the temple now. If it was 4pm when this started we should have enough time to walk over there before dark.

Not really being at ease with people and even more with strangers Kyuss decided to let Valerus do the talking. Being one more in tune with nature he loved this little grove. Not really expecting such a thing in a land of farms the trees truely warmed his heart.

Seeing the old man and his weasel kyuss was on guard but didnt let it show. The only reaction Kyuss allowed the old man to see was his reaction to the beautiful grove of trees and the peace they brought to him.

Kyuss is on guard but does not let it show

OK I am with Darque on this. Stings can do whatever he wants to do with the boy(dont take that the wrong way). Then we should get some rooms and head over to the trees.

Well we got a little information from the lady. I suggest maybe we make for the trees and the man who lives in them. We can come back to the inn later for food and a room if we want.

Subject: Greeting the Lady

Walking at the head of the group kyuss slows to a stop at the warm greeting. Taking everything in he gives a short bow and replies "Good day M'lady. A truely beautiful day to be about ones work. Allow me to introduce my companions and myself. I am named Kyuss, the little lady is Haiden, the one attempting at not being sneaky looking is Stings and the serious young man is Valerus."

If the lady is open to some talking we will ask the following questions plus whatever the other members of the group ask. Kyuss will comfort the lady and offer his help with the disappearances to make the lady more at ease.

- How much for a nights lodging and meal
- do the serve anything special
- what seperates this inn from the other
- Have you noticed anything strange going on in town
- does she know any of the people who have gone missing
- does she know why any of the people would have up and left all their things
- why did she not react like the farmer and his family?
- whats with the strange grouping of trees beside the inn

Sounds good although I am sure we arent supposed to know in game that we are getting another party member so lets not talk about. Anyone feel free to do a write up with some questions and what not. If nothing is posted when I get back I will write something up.

Subject: On the way to the Temple

Seeing that Valerus had gathered the rest of the group to start off to the temple Kyuss took his place in the lead. The druid may have been the leader of the group but the front of the group was not the best place for him. Striding away Kyuss was followed by Valerus, Haiden and Stings who was bringing up the rear.

Following the suggestion of Valerus Kyuss lead the small group of adventures to the north. The group was in no hurry and took advantage of their pace to take in their surroundings. It was always Kyuss's thought to know everything he could about a problem before falling head first into it. Taking a few moments now that could save people later was fine with him.

The group follows the road to building 6 then north to building 25 where they turn east to follow the road to the temple.

The group is calm and courteous to anyone they see/meet along the way.

They will investigate anything they notice out of the ordinary. They arent wandering aimlessly though looking for it. Sticking to the road and what they can see from there

Darque posted that group 3 will head to the temple. He didnt post how we were going to get there. Since he is going to be absent for a few days can we have it assumed that we went north around the lake to get there?

I think you may have to be a little more specific on how we are getting to the Temple Darque.

Well with Darque out of action for a while I can speak for group 3 if no one cares. I would take the group to the north as there is no point for all 3 groups to go the same way through town. Let me know what you guys think and I will post something.

Congrats to Darque on the birth of his child and my thoughts are with you and your wife hoping for her recovery.

Subject: Feeding the Cows

Having seen to the needs of the donkey kyuss turned his attention to the only other animals around. The farmers cows. They looked like fine beasts but he couldnt really tell much about them from where he was. Giving the donkey one last pat he removed the feed bag and moved to the back of the wagon to fill it again. Knowing that no cow can every be fat enough he figured the farmer wouldnt mind.

With the feed bag filled Kyuss wandered on over to the cows taking in everything. He kept his gaze on the cows but he was aware of everything going on around him. Reaching the cows he gave one a pat and a few kind words before emptying the feed bag in front of them. Examinng the cows gave him a fine opportunity to look at the barn and the area surrounding.

Kyuss goes over to the barn area and feeds the cows. While there he takes the time to give the barn a look and the other surrounding areas.

You arent supposed to suggest anything to anyone not in your group. If you read one of Tripwires posts a page or 2 back he explains why. No harm no foul though, just thought you should know if you missed it.

I think I am gonna have Kyuss wait to see what happens in the house. Maybe some of the other guys from group 2 are interested in a little exercise themselves.
