Hello Adventurers I am Trilogy Master Tann'Talas and as the say in the military I am looking for a few good men and women to answer my call for players.
I am looking for 6 more people to fill out a party of 9 in a high level 2nd edition campaign.
I already have 3 and a possible 4th but will accept all inquires.
Some of you know me from the games I am currently in as a player but not as a DM.
But I have run this 4 part Campaign since it first started back in 1985 with many different table top groups and this will be its first time on the internet.
Now to the meat of it.

The Adventure is set in a world I created in 1985 called Trilogy and is my version of the Lord of The Rings but is nothing like the books.
Instead of the one ring the party must recover and destroy a Intelligent sword of great evil.
As characters you start with 900,000 exp's,any PC race is allowed.
Dwarf,Elf,Gnome,Human,Half-Elf and Halfling.
Any race can be any class except for Paladins who are limited to only Elf's and Humans.
Also any multi class combo will be allowed regardless of race restrictions Examples:a Dwarfen Ranger Mage/an Elven Fighter Cleric Druid.
Paladins can only multi class with the class of cleric.
As long as it falls within the 900,000 exp limit with no more then a 3 class combo any characters will be considered.
I will accept only the Alignments of Lawful Good ,Neutral Good or Chaotic Good, as this is a true battle between good and evil with no hint of grey.
Only single class fighters can specialize unless using a kit that allows specializaton examples Myrmidon(FHB),or Justifier(RHB) but kits will be allowed.
As I do not have the book available to me I am not using Skills and Powers sorry to all.
Each characters starting equipment is as follows.

+2 Primary Weapon.
+1 Secondary Weapon.
+2 Armor of Choice.(+1 if Armor is AC 3 or higher to start, AC 2 / Ac 1 Ect..)
+1 Shield if used.
4 other magical Items but they must be approved by me.
2 Potions of Extra healing.

All normal gear is allowed at no intial cost but please list on character sheet what you have and where it is placed Examples `in backpack` `in beltpouch` `in boot` `slung across back` and so on.
As for dice rolls to hit in combat or when using a non weapon proficiency or ability I will make them for the players and monsters ,but will let players know at end of each combat round what damage was taken by each character ,but not what damage was done to creatures.
I will roll all hit points using the standard method for each class in 2e and for multi class's once a character has been accepted into the game.
Once I have enough players I will post the thread "The Trilogy War" in the rule's based forum.

Now a word about my world it consists of a main Continent and numerous Islands and Island chains.
The main continent is of course called Trilogy while the biggest Island is called Cirith Ungol.
I must warn all players interested that alot of the names of places ,towns ,mountains and so on come from the many novels I have read over my 38 years and some are my own as Trilogy is a highly populated world of Humans ,Elves ,Dwarves and other creatures.
Every creature in ADnD has his place somewhere in my world.
I have a full scale map and will try to minimaze it and get it on the site somehow so that everyone can see the world so if anyone can tell me how to do so it would help greatly in showing you its scope. It is 5 pages long and 2 pages high.
Depending on what Race and class you play I will give you a homeland from the world.

You the players that are accepted will start out as a group already having been together for 8 months in the employ of the King of Shanntara in the capital city of Celebrimbor you have been hired for your skills or like the Paladins sent from your nation to serve as a good will gasture.As such before the campaign starts a leader must be chosen from among you so as not to slow the game.I as DM will try to post on Monday's,Thursday's and the weekend depending on players posts and Real life comitments.A minumin of 6 player posts will be needed before I will post.
The manner in how you post is up to you but I hope they though short will be very descriptive and long posts will always be welcome.
So there you have it I know I most likely have forgotten something but it will come out in your questions and my answers. I am a very understanding DM more so then I am as a player and I hope to run a very fun and enjoyable adventure it is full of hack and slash,lots of thinking and interaction among players,and lots of deductive reasoning.
So come try it out you won't be sorry you did.....

Ok everyone as the Inn is back up I decided to repost the Tril Q/A thread, this unless Olan or I transfer the original thread over will be the offical Q/A thread for the game. I will be reposting the last post from before the crash in two weeks on Sunday September 10th so please let me know your still in the game by returning my Roll Call email or by posting your desire to continue here.
If I have not heard from any of you by the time I repost I will assume you no longer wish to play and will replace you. As I have already heard from 4 of you I believe we are in good shape to get it going again.

I am just waiting on word from Alacrity, Dragonmist and his daughter to restart Trilogy.
I have heard from Alasdair, Kyle, Tinder and Cailin already through email and IM. As our game motto hopefully says

Ok So far I have heard from everyone but Dragonmist and Drusillia. I am hoping to hear from them soon but if not knowing how much they both said they liked Trilogy I will give them untill the end of September before I recruit for thier characters.

I have if anyone has been lurking started transfering your characters over from the old Inn to here. What I need from each of you to do is look them over and if something is missing please let me know.I should have them all over by the end of the week if not today. Also the History of Trilogy has also been added and I adivse you all to reread it to refamilierize yourselves with its information as it has clues that will help you in the game.

Also one last thing it is with sadness I report that the Trilogy Master will not return to posting the DM posts.
I have decicded that I will just post them as Tann'Talas from here on out. If anybody has any objections feel free to post them here.

It's good to see that the inn is back up and running we are most anxious to start playing again.
We have not only been away from the inn but from the internet altogeather.I just got my new comcast high speed account set up about 20 mins ago.My family and I have been in the process of moving since the last time I posted before the inn went down.
We are in a new house now that we have purchased no more renting.

I had planned to start the game Sunday but am wondering if I should wait and transfer all the old posts over to the new forums only thing it will be a copy/paste kind of thing and will take at least a week to do so. So anybody got any thoughts

Ok we will restart Sunday using the Thread thats already up but what I am gonna do is start a second thread and start transfering all the surviving posts from both my files and the old Inn to it. Once I have finished I will transfer or your guys can yourselves all the new posts to that thread and delete the old one. then we should be good to go any thoughts??.

Ok everyone I don't know if you have noticed yet but I have started to transfer the lost posts from the old Inn over. I am at present using my own backup files as thay still have Mottles full posts, before he deliberately erased them, but my file only goes to May of 2005. At that point I will have to start transfering the posts from the old Inn and we will lose all of Cor's posts till he was taken over by Bromern.

My question is this, does anyone possibly have the game posts from May onward till the time Brom took over that includes the rest of Cor's posts, if so please let me know.

Also take a look at the other Trilogy Thread and give me your opinions on if you like the way I am grouping your player posts in weeks. I am doing this to save alot of work on my part.
