Subject: Nearning my last post for awhile
As the sounds and thrill of battle draw to a close end Riddle begins to survey the battle seen. First he notes Billys crushed wolf
"perhaps we should end this ones misery" he states with a wince pointing to the still whimpering animal. "as far as the ones sleeping i would like a chance to communicate with them see what i can find out and who knows possibly make and ally"
Scaning the surroundings again noting billy and thor staning in the brush apparently having run off chasing some thing
"or perhaps we should begin moving away from here what ever it was that led the attack knows we are here i think it would be wise to put as much distence as possible between us and this place, your thoughts."

i must leave once again for a couple of days tomorrow as some of you know i am moving to Alaska for my first duty station so i really dont know how long it will be until i can get internet up there hopefully with in the first couple of days so i wont miss to much but if i am gone for awhile i will be back this game is to enjoyable to be away for too long and thanks YeOlde i know that i have a place to play thanks for letting me join in agian

Subject: Form the circle
two more wolfs come out of the brush in front of the defensive line formed by Billy, Thor and Riddle. Instead of attacking these wolfs stop just out of reach of the trio and stare at them, their glowing eyes lock on the men and they growl at them ominously. They don’t stand there long, but begin to spread out as if trying to find a safe way past the men.
" We need to Hold the line and form our circle around Siliwen they are after her not us. Lets not let them get what they are after"
Riddle falls back making his way to Siliwen.
keeping his eyes on the wolfs in front wondering if what could drive these wolves to attack and just Siliwen.

Subject: Riddle
Riddle bars the wolf’s way with one blade while he uses the other to slash its throat. It isn’t difficult since the wolf is atop him, the blade is already in between their bodies and the wolf is so intent on getting to Siliwen that it almost ignores him. That is until it feels Riddle sharp blade at its throat. The blade cuts deeply and blood flows quickly and covers Riddle as he lays under the beast. The wolf stops and looks down at the Ranger, bares it teeth as if it is going to try and rip his throat out. Hatred glowing in it’s red eyes; then the light fades and the beast collapses atop Riddle momentarily pinning him under it’s weight.
More wolves come through the brush headed towards the party; Billy and Thor find several headed in their direction and will have no problem finding a target.
Riddle quickly pulling himself out under the wolfs dead body. Raises one hand to wipe the blood that now adorned his face and takes a quick survey of the surrounding area. Noticing that Alea is already on her way to help Siliwen with the wolf facing her. Trusting that between the two of them they could handle the one wolf Riddle heads into the fray with Billy and Thor, the sight of the wolf with the broken whimpering in pain sends more peigns of anguish through riddles mind he always hated to see animals hurt but one must do as needed to survive

Subject: Riddle
With Riddle holding his ground in front of the wolf that almost got her, she quickly casts her spell and a ‘dagger of light’ streaks across the intervening space to strike the large wolf in the chest. The creature howled at the injury and ignoring Riddle it locks it’s red glowing eyes on her and leaps at her.
Riddle quickly jumps in front of the wolf and slashes at it with his two swords, crossing the blades before him he scores two hits but in so doing he takes the full brunt of the wolfs leap. They both go down, the wolf howling in rage rather than pain tries to get over the top of Riddle as it still tries to go after Siliwen. The creature’s red eyes are still locked on the small elvin woman and she can almost feel hate emanating from it.
Riddle thinking quickly wedges his off hand blade in between the wolf and siliwen yelling out at the same time "try and keep one alive." He then stabs at the wolf with with his primary hand. using the other blade to slash at the wolfs throat hoping to end this beast as quickly as possible.

im only home in california for 12 days then im going to alaska and yeah i will be able to rp for awhile i have no clue what is going on in any of the games but i would love to pick up my chars just send me a summary of were they are at and i will pick it up i might be in and out of the posting due to my move and all i will be terribly busy. i will be working 18 hr days but hey if i can find the time i will totally play
in reference to boot camp well it was boot camp it was hard but i am defiantly glad that i made the decision that i did. i made a lot of really close friends

Looking up the hill south of town, one could hardly see Longchester Asylum in all its diminished glory. The clouds and the rain blocked much of the view, and hardly anyone could see that building if they didn't know where to look.
"Yes, we are going out hunting for a rogue vampire," said Herst as he walked into the old building. "And if said vampire won't listen to diplomatic reason? Do you intend to fight him off by yourself?" Once inside he opened a locked door that lead to the basement and lead the others downstairs. When Herst turned on the lights in the basement, the Carthian's armory was revealed. "We're here for supplies. Then we hunt."
“Perhaps some supplies for fighting him would be better, but I have the weapons I need,” came syanides voice dripping with that arrogant self sufficient tone once again, “though perhaps I could use some more ammo for my gun”

It was a cool night but not too uncomfortable. About an hour later the sky starts to lighten to your left if you are facing the Sea. As the new day Dawns they can see more of the surrounding lands from the rise upon which their camp has been set. They see it is a most advantageous location for a camp, resting on the highest spot in the grassland they can see any approach to this camp.
They see only the Sea stretching off beyond sight in what could be the South, if the direction of the sun rise is considered East. To the East and West you see only grass and a few corpses of trees dotted here and there
” There is a path to our north, its just a small trail but perhaps it leads some were,” Came riddles voice early from the edge of the camp, “Perhaps I should scout It, with some one. Anyone against that plan of action, and if no then who wants to come with.”

Subject: To clean a wound
Riddle walks up and offers Siliwen a hand in redressing her old wounds, and offering her a hand with the ones she cant reach.
“Forgive me if I am to forward but how did you get all of these scars, since its obvious that I am a ranger as a profession, what is it that you do.”
Came riddles voice in an effort to get some conversation started
Billy shook his head when he heard the word "magic". "It figures that magic would be involved in a bad thing happening to me." He drops his pack and begins to rummage through it, pulling out some cheese and bread. "It isn't a fest and I am afraid I hve only water not dwarven ale but you are welcome to eat with me if you wish." He offered a piece of cheese to the dwarf beside him.
“Perhaps its best that we eat cold tonight anyways, we really don’t know were we are and who or what surrounds us.” Riddle stated as he heard Billy’s offer to the Thor. “Granted we have a fire but I don’t think we should make it any bigger.”

“I will take a watch for now, Silwen, you may eat, or rest now and then take over for me later. I too have an interest in the stars and wish to watch them, later I will confer with you on what I have observed."
Turning riddle and stating, "Master Ranger will you also take a watch for now, and I would appreciate hearing your name."
Then she turns back to the others, "You may all call me Alea, it is easier to say."
“My name is Riddle and I will gladly join you in the first watch shortly after her wounds are attended too, Perhaps you would be more adept at it that I. I can handle basic cleaning and dressing of a wound nothing further.
Siliwen moves towards her lack and picks it up and goes back near the fire. SHe sets down her pack and removes a few items. a small bowl, waterskin, a small cloth and a jar of salve. She sets them out carefully on a square yeard of canvas Then she pulls out a clean dark green tunic. Unfastening her belt she begins to strip off her tunic so that her wounds can be clean and dressed.
Examining her other bandaged wounds Siliwen saw not fresh signs of bleeding, they seemed to be closed now so she wouldn't remove the bandages covering them yet. She had that to be thankful for since she was now who knew where.

"We are here now by someone or the other's hand. We are not hurt. All our things were brought with us. Whoever told us we would have to trust each other. I know it is a little to soon for us all to do that but I suggest we do what we can, considering the situation. What we can to is gather enough firewood to last the night through and set watches. Some can rest for now while others watch and then we can switch. Though I do not know how much of the night is left. If I watch the movement of the stars for a while then I may be able get an idea of where the North or South may lie. The stars near the north and south axis move very little throughout the night. Stars in the belt region rise and set in the much the same path as the sun.” came Siliwen’s response to Riddles move ments
"Now, if someone has bandages and can give me a hand I would appreciate it. I can't quite reach some of the wounds I sustained. I will take the first watch who will stand with me?" came
“I will galdly help with your wounds forgive me im am not to partial to people see I have spent most of my time in my woods only coming out when I need a new blade or something of the likes” riddle says as he looks in to Siliwen’s eyes
“ I don’t recognize any familiar formations in the stars either, but perhaps if we both watch we can find something. I will take first watch... how about food does any one have any it seems are big friend here is hungry. Oh and forgive me for being too forward my name is Riddle,” this time speaking to the whole group.
" If not i will also gladly go find some, im not too sure that i could catch anything live tonight so that means mostly berries but perhaps some other night with a little more preperation" came Riddle's reply once again

Subject: Just a little unnerved
Riddle wakes from a from a dream staring at a group of people he has never seen. A little unnerved by this he slowly slips back into the shadows as the one of the elves begins to speak
”“Hello my name is Siliwen. I do not know what has happened only that it has. I know what I experienced but I do not know what any of you experienced. I went to sleep in the woods near a small town called Mayberry Dale. Then I dreamed or thought I dreamed of flying in the clouds with others near me. To me the voice spoke in High Elven, a fatherly voice telling me that I was to be part of an adventuring group and we were to face great evil in a far land.
Riddle still a little unnerved by the circumstances begins staring at the back of his right hand as the dwarf begins to speak
This elven lass probally has the right idea for she speaks as if we have traveled here together, for my memories of getting here are very much the same as hers.So my name is Thordinal or just Thor for short.
As the dwarf chuckles at his own joke.
However I do recall something else this fatherly voice said as I flew through the clouds. Each one of us that has been somehow chosen for this battle against evil would bear a mark on the back of their right hand, so I suggest to put ourselves at ease at least with each other that we each show our right hand and this mark. We will then at least know we all have been chosen, for what and by whom I know not, but we can work on that once we are not standing around wary of each other.
Riddle just sinks back into his forest green cloak and waits for another to make a move

Syanide continued to look around the room. Watching the princes obvious annoyance at there questions, absorbing every facial change.
“This way gentlemen,” the servant said and signaled towards the door
Syanide was quick to follow. As he walked back across the hall he looked to jed and said once again in that cool and emotionless tone
“In response to your earlier question about my profession, I am a dealer of sorts,” came syanides
as syanide walked out of the door he was greeted by Archer Herst.
“Get in the car. We’ve got work to do.” Without missing a beat syanide opened the door and crawled in the back of the car .
"The vampire is unknown so far. Nobody seems to recognize him or know anything about him. So far we know that he is strong and pretty fast but he is working too much in the open. He is old-fashioned, just under six feet tall and is most probably a Nosferatu judging from his appearance. He was last seen in the Havens while you were talking with her Highness." came Archer Herst voice once they got in the car, and heading away from the Havens.
“So were exactly are we going. If he is in the Havens shouldn’t we go there for information” said Syanide growing a little annoyed at not knowing everything that was going on. He had always hated not being able to control every
