Topic: The Inconceivable Crusaders -- Recruitment
Subject: Grakh

Grakh was an odd Half-orc, he strode rather than lumbered like the other members of his race, also he spoke like a noble odd sounding for such a green-fellow, His muscles face shape and size all represented his race and impeccable he was if Grakh was less intelligent he would be a champion of his race as not only was he wise and intelligent there was strength in him a secret belying feature. the reason for his leaving of the Blood 'gar tribe was his intention to do good not a common half-orc trait most explaining there leaving as 'Me, kill.' Also his gear was of high standard He had full-plate donned the whole time only taking it off to sleep the shield he had too was of even higher standard it was huge and had a dragons head at the top seemingly roaring it also had a vague glow about it it was obviously very powerful. his weapons of a lesser standard a beaten longword swung about his waist and there was a dagger scabard poking out of his left plate boot. The bottom end of a bow also poked out under the huge shield and he wore a necklace of 5 darts around it. He showed a high variety and assortment of weapons. Now he has come to the city to do good and vanquish the bad!

Subject: Torigad

Torigad looks at the small fellow obviously pleased with his work, Torigad wasn't quite as cheerfull he saw the gnomes work as at best satisfactory. He obviously fancied being leader of this band as they were no better than a group of freelancing mercenaries now employed by a dragon. *How odd* he thought to himself he wouldn't of seen this happening when he set off from Sodgrave.

Back to the matters in hand firstly his beard......

Topic: The Legacy of the Shade Lord
Subject: Torigad

During melvens pitiful display of grovelling and losing all of his self worth. Torigad lost alot of respect for him largely because of his loss of dignity he was annoying Torigad very much. Although the huge dragon was somewhat awesome in proportion and dimension, and at first Torigad was blown away as he was so surprised he came looking to fight some measly kobolds, and now he stood before a dragon with a small gnome bargaining for huge wealth that Torigad couldn't even comprehend in his simple working, practical mind. Twenty thousand gold was a huge sum of money, Torigad had never even had that money over the span of his whole life let alone in one adventure.

There was one big question echoing in Torigads mind, the dragon is big we are small why would he need us to do jobs for him and we give a nearly undefeatable creature the money we earnt what would stop him from taking all the money after all dragons aren't known for their genorosity. This bought another question to talk for himself or slyly nudge Melven the undignified gnome.

Torigad thought for a minute pondering his thoughts he didn't fancy being rosted by this awesome creature so thought Melven could put his ideas into a .... more appropriate form of communication after all Torigad wasn't known for great charasmatic traits. After the gnome had stopped talking Torigad dropped a coin onto the hard grey floor and as he came up he whispered to Melven "we need to discuss this you are making all the decisions."

All torigad could do now was to hope the gnome would heed his advice and get us to talk between ourselves in an appropriate manner.

Subject: Torigad

*Well what a useful fellow* torigad thought to himself. Although the spoken word was hardly Torigads fórté he appreciated the gnome for being such a diplomat and could see him getting everyone out of as many sticky situations as Torigad can with his axe and various weapons.

Although there was certainly something dodgy about the Gnome he was quick-witted and these sort of people Torigad had little trust for but for now Torigad was willing to be with him no doubt he would be used as a bodyguard to protect the Gnome from any 'bad guys' but he was sure he could defend himself but in a much different way to himself.

Torigad scratched at his half shaved face still bored and his bloodlust had all but gone now all he wanted was to go home back to the inn and shave his bloody beard off he might be half dwarf-half dragon but he didnt like half beards.

Subject: Torigad

He admitted to himself the room was very nice decorated nicely and certainly sufficiently for the race he scorned. However this was oh so, boring he looked at some old antoques not used by anyone to do anything impratical hence not worth having in his view. People his suposed companions speak in hushed tones away from him making secret deals in a language unknown to him. he was beginning to dislike this place he felt as though things were going to well largely as there hadnt been a fight between the two enemies for quite some time now they were no longer hostile, quite the contrary they were friwnds dare he say it. Friends to his companions but never friends to him they were scrawny ill-looking and most of all untrustworthy all the flaws in a race Torigad absoloutely hated. He wanted to leave if not now very soon, it wasn't right to mingle with such creatures. Especially in such a squalid cesspit as this what a degrading experience. For one who was used to living in the open such an enclosed space with so many bodies was short of a miracle so far he hadn't panicked but not sure how long he could last he whispered in T'Pullis ear.

"How long must we stay here friend this place unnerves me."

Torigad shok himself to get himself together now the battle was over he could feel the pain his battle lust gone that wound really hurt now *Ah well can't be helped* he thought to himself. He heard the more involved of the two monks talking and his plan sounded feesible at least, however he wanted stick with Ixion Po, although he hated him there wasno doubt he was the best tactician of all of this odd group he had taken control and only light wounds had occured and the alarm was not sounded. Torigad accepted his place however he was to be with the casters, oh how he hated casters *no metal to 'em* that was his opinion. Casters were never down to earth always speaking in riddles that he could often not understand.

"Good plan Monk lets be on our way we have killing to do"
and with that he started towards his assigned tunnel not waiting for the others although hoping they were following. as he walked he went to stroke his beard but it wasn't there only one-side. he chuckled to himself *what an idiot* but this was a new Torigad a confident Torigad.

You awake and all is a blur, someone you cant make out who is dragging you muttering ineligible words under his breath "Nokdu ins nir tin ger." Before you know it you are sat in a chair your body gently sagging in the wooden structure. A man dressed in full red the man who had dragged you was shouting orders and as you look around you see three others slumped in chairs in a similar way too you.

Slowly you regain conciousness and as you do the man in res barks at you "You are the chosen YOU will save us YOU are the messiah go my children flee with haste you must get to the capital run, for you are the chosen. Ask him ask the leader for help he will come HE WILL COME I SAY."

Once more you are dragged although on your feet this time until outside the city gates the guards on top of the tower gazing down on you like solid birds of prey. automatically you look back to what is your home and see just a black abyss although an orange fire seems to be burning far in the distance, clearly you must hurry.

Torigad started to run in long strides until around 20 metres away at which point he loosed the javelin at random into the mound. He kept running keeping an eye out for other foulsmelling traps. After loosing the javelin he pulled out his dwarven axe and his large shield, at around 10 metres from the mound he suddenly realised what was he goin to do now............

Torigad had finished draining out his beard or what was left of it the water dripped onto is shoes bouncing off into small droplets making the ground even more of a quagmire. As he walked quickly to reach Ixion a waving caught his eye in the distance it was that solitary monk what was he doing ducking and diving like that. Oh! The mounds his boots squelched in the muddy bog as he hastened to reach Ixion. He sniffed what was that smell? he looked down in front of him seeing a trap that radiated the horrid smeeling holes he decided to play safe now walking around it not daring to hurry. Finally! he reached Ixion "the monks saying something of the mounds can you decipher it." Torigad didnt wait for a reply he knew they were close now he could sense their presence so once again he lifted out the lightbringer javelin ready for any sudden moves to use his lightning battle reflexes.

Torigad was in the mood to kill he felt his blood warm it was boiling as the adrenaline coursed through his veins. He was baying for blood.

Torigad was relieved that went well with the party in a 3-way split and little but the makings of the plan it showed these guys were skilled if not arrogant. However arrogant people win! Torigad walked calmly and slowly to Lightbringer and wiped the gooey sticky red blood of of it's shiny metal spire it never rusted and never dulled unfortunately he didn't get to use his favourite wepaon the dwarven waraxe. *Damn* he thought to himself but no doubt the sharp metallic blade would taste kobold blood later and Torigad couldn't wait so much he sprinted to pick up his second javelin slinging it along side Lightbringer.

"Hurry, best get going." He called to the group.
