Topic: The Legacy of the Shade Lord
Subject: Torigad

Torigad enjoyed his bacon and eggs although not of the highest quality it beat nuts and cherries anyday. He felt as though he needed to talk about his proposed exploration and asked "So where are we planning to head? we need a plan, and a good one if we are to survive which i fully intend to. I think we should wait until the last room is taken that way we can now for sure we have the maximum of oppurtunities to recruitpeople for our group." Torigad hoped they would agree with his thinking after-all it was logical.

SODGRAVE

Torigad woke heavily with a headache he had overslept, he wasn''t use to this form of luxury a feathered pillow and a mattress was always more comfortable and forgiving than solid earth, Torigad shivered at the thought. Torigad rolled back the winter blanket, got up and walked slowly and groggily to his backpack where he routed around for his clothes, he found them and started dressing, once he was fully clothed he made his way downstairs, and saw a new person obviously a tired traveller maybe adventurer as he still had all his gear annd attire about him. Ignoring him he walked steadily to the bar asked for some water and any form of breakfast he asked Yissu to choose for him.

Torigad went to sit with his two new formed friends but before he reached the comfortable brown seats of the table, a thought wave came over him, he bolted up the stairs as fast as he could, which was some considerable pace opened his room to see lightbringer leaning gently against the wall and his waraxe laying peacefully, maybe for the last time, on the chest at the bottom of his bed. Torigad quickly slung Lightbringer over is shoulder in it's scabbard that he himself had made, Torigad then tied in the waraxe by his belt so it would swing as he walked giving him an unusually powerful presence.

Before walking out of the door he took a look at his hands no longer crusted with mud and blistered and callused from work they were....were clean! He once more walked down the stairs looking at his meaty breakfast on the table bacon and eggs his favourite he hadn't had this sort of filling food for a long while his normal breakfast, was usually nuts and berries. How he was looking forward to this meal.
he walked steadily down the stairs to sit with his comrades "What am I without my weapons it is my trade." Apoligized Torigad. "That strange fellow speaking to Yissu looks like he may be up for our little adventure what do you two think?" After that statement Torigad hastily tucked in to his breakfast.

Subject: Torigad

SODGRAVE
Torigad flushed is face going red, fortunately his big hearty beard and long hair hid his redness, what right had this scrawny man got to embarass in front such a beautiful figure, if i gave him some logs he couldn't make a fire i bet.
"Yes i am interested in travelliing into the stillnes of course we would have all overspring to prepare and get ourselves ready." Said Torigad, this time full of pride.
"Since our friend thinks i am a disgusting monster and a person who should be treated with no respect i will be off now i will meet you down here in the morning."
Torigad strolled off not waiting for a reply, for he feared further embarassment.
He called for the housekeeper, "Bring the tub to my room kind sir, please"
Once in his room he lent lightbringer against the wall gently as not to ruin his precious artefact then laid his waraxe at the end of the bed as a warning to intruders.

Once the tub was brought up with boiling hot water. Torigad thanked thhe pretty barmaid and wished her goodnight. Then Torigad jumped in it sraight away although with no splash, he nearly screamed at first but after a while it felt good and washed him cleanly.
Leaning over to reach the small mirror he decided it was time for a change he wasn't alone anymore. Now wasn't the time though he would ask for a razor in the morning and shave at least some of his beard off.
After getting out of the bath his hands were normal once more so he got clothed and went back down calling for the tub to be removed.
The pretty barmaid came up to his room again but he maintained his composure and thanked her very much.
Torigad was truly nakered he pulled back the blanket got on the rough mattress pulled the blanket over his muscly body and fell asleep almost straight away.

Torigad put on a very stern face "listen very carefully stranger, I want to get a band of explorers... or adventurers to go on an expedition into the outlying areas to not only help this town but the whole continent i want to help irradicate the evil that has destroyed this once beautiful continent whatyasay?" Torigad's face changed to a forgetful expression "oh, it will be very dangerous i want to travel through the stillness"

His features were broad and hardened and showed a life of hardship and work. he clearly wasn't a good speaker as he mumbled to you and you could only just make out the words. His Beard and Hair made it almost impossible to see any features apart from his hardened brow and bushy eyebrows his forehead was wrinkled not through laughter but more by frowns and sadness.

His eyes were an auburn brown so much so when you looked into them you were hypnotic by there contact and you couldn't help but hold his gloomy stare.

The hand he pressed onto was a horrid callused hand that made you cringe it was not just ugly it was repulsive so many blisters and scars, not battle scars something different you can't quite put your finger on.

His hair was Brown and matched his eyes it was greasy an dmatted by days of sweat and work he obviously isn,t a lasy man as it looks like he is hard-working and is not afraid for his hands to get dirty.

Torigad carried on walking up to his room although he did notice the peculiar man he had noticed the night before saunter off to a table, after using his charm to some effect on the pretty, young barmaid.

It was more a pretense going up to his room he grabbed his sturdy dwarven waraxe and lightbringer leaving his two other javelins and his backpack in the room, he felt safer with weaponry after pulling the door too firmly he proceeded to walk at a fast pace down the stairs, so fast he nearly tripped but feigned it to show in fact he was picking up a piece of litter.

Torigad saw the tall fellow enjoying a glass of wine and a Kebab at the table he was sat at before and bravely decided he would sit with him, after taking a seat at the table he asked "I presume it is ok to sit with you." trying to sound confident, "i have some matters i would like to discuss." Torigad slowly put one hand on the table and leant forward slightly

Torigad shuffled in his seat and glanced at the doorway, clearly edgy now he asked for another mead and asked to be shown to his room. He moved up the stairs to the room named 4, wow he thought that was his lucky number he edged up the stairs slowly his glass shaking a little in his hand the rowdy teens had mad ehim uneasy too he now, more than ever, wanted too talk to that tall skinny man. He would go back down later for food now was the time for reflection.

He walked into his room and lay on his bed for an hour. What a mess this town had turned into since he was once the young teen although he didn't remeber having much friends it was him and his father teaching him how to survive how handy it came in and then his traits of draconic ancestry blue/black, how strange he must have destiny these kobolds will be seeked out with his fellow comrades if any are found if not now one day they will be after this relaxation and reflection period Torigad wandered back downstairs hoping for the lightly skinned skinny tall man to be their.

The tall thin man who entered was slightly odd he swaggered with a cocky and confident stroll not like the locals in here the old bearded men. He wanted to approach him when he came back down as, due to his weaponry he was not shy of a fight.

This was a subject Torigad believed he was no longer restricted by awkwardness he raised his voice a tad and proceeded to say "Are you telling me yussi you rather stay cooped up in this city, always scared always alone or are you going to make a stand and make a name for yourself. When i venture out into the wilderness again as i have before i will have both my repuatation and my pride intact i refuse to be a boring shop or innkeeper. I....I have a destiny" this felt odd to Torigad speaking in front of so many people what was he doing?

Trigad was thoroughly creeped out the shadows the wry smile and the tasty music all gave him strange vibes he was not scared as such he was more generally wary. "Not that i know of i am just resting here although i hope to find at least a couple comrades to go venturing into the stillness with."

Torigad turned to the music he noticed the two men but left them be if they approached him he would communicate or at least try to but at the moment he wanted a kebab and a good song and another glance at the sweet barmaid.

"Yes actually.......Yissu could i have a Kebab, please."
Torigad was famished from his journey back from the local woods where he had been camped out the last few days. A kebab, would be nice he, thought to himself

SODGROVE, EAST ROSE

Torigad shuffled on his seat nervously his hands started to shake slightly but he replied "Torigad my friend and you?" as soon as he said it he knew what a fool he had been "Thanks for mead, sir" He said trying to repair the embarassing situation.

SODGROVE, EAST ROSE

As Torigad walked through the doorway to the bar there was awkwardness to his walk, he hated interacting with people his hood was up partially disguising his face. He mad eye-contact with the beautiful barmaid walking towards him he blushed slightly realising his immediate attraction towards her so he loosened his hood a tiny bit showing the soft glow to his hardened face. “Just a mead for me, I guess, er…. Yes….” The barmaid started to walk away attending to his needs “oh, Please” he called after her.

He walked now with even less confidence than before what an idiot he thought to himself, as he walked up to the counter pulled a barstool which made an ungainly creak attracting everyone’s attention the pretty barmaid chuckled to herself, and a few of the commoners did the same, this made, Torigad feel even more depressed and alone. Ah, well at least I got my mead.
