Topic: The Day They Woke Up on the Wrong Side of Reality
Subject: Day 2

After how ever many hours of sleep, Ian wakes to the bright shine of the sun over his eyes. While sitting up he sees Ray returning from his nature excursion, “So, where did you go off to so early in the morning?” Ian asks upon seeing Ray return. Ian proceeds to crawl to his feet and takes a long fulfilling stretch, testing what muscles are sore, he then begins ot rub the sleepiness from his eyes.

I wonder if our physical forms are still in our world as well. If thats the case does anyone notice we are gone. “Do you think the others back home will notice we are gone, or if some how our bodes are still where we are from?” Ian says in a wisper to Jeremy.

“Uh, excuse me, if you don't mind me asking, do you have a map? And if you do, could you show it to me, please?” Ian asks hesitantly Aeth, I need to see what continent we are on, or if this even is Earth.

(EDIT - SPELLING OF: content to continent and earth to Earth)

When seeing people enter the room, the man lazily gets to his feet to greet them. "Hey there, you forgot me.” He says with a broad grin, “I’m Mo.” While approaching, he eyes everyone and their equipment. “So, what did I miss?” Mo asks keeping his smile, “Ten of us to save the world? Interesting . . . ”

As Mo gets closer he looks up at Willow with amazement “Hullo.” and continue on to greet the others. “What an interesting bunch of people? A giant girl, a man in an iron mask, a dwarf, an elf and a scary bandaged girl.” Mo thinks to himself. “I’m going to fit right in!”

(After finding out what happened and finding he will need a Ghost touch weapon and armour)

Mortimer strolls over to the armoury to purchase a Ghost touch Greatsword and Breastplate, he takes his great sword and puts it into the brown bag that is tied to his belt. He then takes off his breastplate to reveal, a broad man and a dirty white shirt. Mo then straps on the Magical Breastplate. “So, what now?”

Subject: A post!

Ian backed up in his seat so that the bandits wouldn’t see him. Realizing that it would be a foolish thing to do, he sits up. If anything the bandits had already seen him and they could probably still see him anyway. When Ian heard Ben’s speech from the side of the carriage, he gained some courage to stand up and face the bandits. He tried to squeeze through to the left of the small carriage to step out of the vehicle. Seeing this, Owen grabbed Ian’s shirt and pulled him back. “Don’t be an idiot!” He dragged Ian back into his seat. Ian opened his mouth as if to protest, but he realized that Owen was right, so closed it.

I don’t like being so useless. I wonder if I could help in someway. Well I can help later with the wheel. He tells himself then wonders. What was left in that bundle of weapons?

With a sigh of relief Ian is the first to braek the silence, "That was too creepy, quiet and depressing for my likings. What do you think it meant by; 'You who do not carry a burden on your spirit,' was it because we arn't dead?"

I certainly hope this is a dream, it's too weird, though it could be fun. I'll see how it goes "So . . . any ideas on where we're going?" Ian asks, "Because I'm getting hungry." He then looks up near the sun, “Okay, it’s probably about 11:00 - 11:30" Ian mutters to himself.

As the door swings open, Maaht burst into motion and yells "No time! It closes quick! C'mon, C'MON!" Gamiates runs through followed by Gorshak and Drassarr as the door closes. The light from Gamiates's holy symbol, reveals a narrow hallway with a sharp turn to the right with a little stretch, followed by some stairs leading down to a door.

The door is opened to reveal a room that is still made stone, but this was crafted by hand, the room stretches approximately twenty feet in front of you and five feet on each side (fifteen from side to side). Maaht steps in first, from his left hand side a spider launches down landing almost on top of him. In the spider's attack it attempts to sink it's fangs in Maaht shoulder, however it in it's failed attempt it merely bounced off his shoulder feeling like a large dog fell on him.

With the close of the secret door Jevaf is left alone in the dark, left to let her plan go on to motion.

Ian gets a shiver down his back from the appearance of the Wraith, he then proceeds to hide behind Ben. Ian has to fight the urge to run in fear.

Holy crap this thing is scary, the sooner we are we are out of here the better Ian tells himself and follows the rest.

After Gamiates's little favour Drassarr and Gorsh commence in their searches, looking around the area for a little while come up empty. when they are done Maaht is slightly offended at the remark 'Scuse us, please, Mister Red-Leather. We got a job to do.' and he aims to prove then wrong. Maaht scoured the ground looking for scrapes of foot prints, he found no footprints however, he did find some scrapes. Maaht also found the means to create some more scrapes.

One of the stalagmite that the thief was standing in front of was the device, Maaht noticed a hair line crack on one and grabbed the top of that stalagmite to lean in to get a closer look, at that moment his body went a little further the he hoped. the part he was holding on to had slid forward and that door swung open.

Well you could be lower then 4th level if you want, but usually people want to be the same level. Unless you mean a level adjustment then still yes.
EDIT: Oh and about Jevaf's actions I had them all typed up and I thought I posted it but it turns out I didn't, so I updated it.

Subject: Round 1 including Jevaf

Jevaf pulls both hands from her sleeves and with a flick of her wrist, hurls the dagger in her left hand at the thief.

This effort is amiss, for the thief dodges as if expecting it, by quickly darting out of the way and he is untuched by this. "Such a rash move. I thought we were getting along nice too, heh"

Reaching a part of the cave where she notes it is easier to hurl the dagger and successfully hit the thief, she does so, flicking her right wrist and the curved dagger flies end over end horizontally toward the thief.

The thief quickly dodges this one, he is off to one side to dodge the first, then he lowers himself barely, to have the other dagger streak past him.

Jevaf's cry was heard from some distance it easily to get out to Drassarr and Gamiates, Drassarr seeded ready to jump the gun to race in, his battle sense was right to zip off. After Drassarr's quickly followed Gamiates quickly stopping at the site of the thief.

Maaht came out from "hiding", he ran to Jevaf and proceeded to clutch her shoulder for the proper leverage and commenced to launch over his friend. Maaht's jump of epic proportions wasn't so epic, halfway through the jump was the fall just above Jevaf, Jevaf's body reacted accordingly to this accident waiting to happen, leaped out of the way to see the falling man impact the ground and the whining of his leather armour stretching with the force and gravity of the impromptu landing (-2 lethal to Maaht 51/53).

After Maaht's departure Gorshak tried to clamber to his feet and follow as quickly as possible, this time grabbing his bow and pulling an arrow instead of his scimitar.

Rouinding the corner after the others, he moves to the left, arrow nocked and half-drawn, looking for others who might be hiding amongst the stalagmites. To Gorshak's relief he found no others.

The man in front of Jevaf was thrown off guard by the sudden appearance of the many people, including the one that potently was jumping at him. In his startled state the man turned on his heel and pules something in front of him, in that moment the wall dislodged it's self and swings open with the sound of scraping rock and a sudden loud bang with the stop of the door, he then dashed through the opening and the door swung closed at fast as it opened.

If I was in said group of being offended, I will inform you I was not and that remains thus far.

Wyrmsting, being a responsible DM, I am inclined to question your actions involving a jump with epic proportions. Furthermore do you know the DC for that sucker! I do.

It would be easier to walk through her square, admittedly it would look awsom and be awsom, but you have a great potential of landing on Jevaf, and if that is your way of making a dramatic entrance then my mistake.

EDIT: Yeah, that's supposed to say 'square' not 'squear'

Your assumption is corect, that we are rolling initiative. Plus Jevaf's actions are in the first part, because she won initiative so I put it in.

Drawing a dagger, the thief holds it up to it and says in a low voice. "You and I both know that this is real, stolen personally from the manor of Lord Vincent. If you do not care for it, as you say, I will simply dispose of it and be done with it." There are no hints in the theif's voice to determine whether he is lying or not, but the dagger is very real.

"Perhaps I do, and yet, perhaps I don't. Just as you perhaps hold the item to exchange for it, or perhaps not. How is one supposed to tell if it is covered?" Jevaf says softly, her voice betraying no emotion, because in truth she felt none.

While the thief removed the bundle from the painting, to reveal the old king, he remarked "not the very trusting one, are we? Well here it is out for you to see." Slipping the sunrod in his belt and beckoned with two fingers. "Now the money? No tricks now."

If Jevaf begins to step forward, he will stop her. "Ah-ah" he says, "Throw me the payment, in a bag. If you have payed correctly, you will receive the item."

Topic: Inconceivable Crusaders Q&A
Subject: Descriptions

To Wyrmsting I read that soup went on vacation and hasn't posted in over a month as I can see, as he only have 2 posts (just checked) and so is no longer in.

1. I'll need the description of the thief. In particular, does he appear armed, and how does he look? Agile? Muscular?
-The thief is garbed in a neutral gray cloak, a mithral chain shirt (by the way in this world mithral is a very bright metal that lies between silver and straight white) and has two swords on his sides, they appear to be a Short Sword and a Dagger. He is slim but agile and not to tall either, the man has a gruff face and long black hear, he is clean shaven to reveal the multiple scars, one over his right eye, another on that same cheek and a last one on his chin.

2. I'll need the description of the painting as would be told to us by our employer.
-The panting is of a long forgotten king, he is a very old man stroking his long white beard. The old mans face has deep wrinkles on his forehead as if deep in thought.

3. I'll need a bit more description of the cave. Is it just a dead end where the thief is as far as I can see? How many places are there for others to hide (considering a potential ambush)? Etc.
-Sorry I forgot the cave, you have walked in about thirty feet and turned the corner to the right, there you can see a few stalagmites and the thief is on the far side of the cave where it ends.

4. Also, I need positioning. Exactly how far away is the thief, etc
-You are beside a stalagmite and he is approximately forty feet away.

Jevaf is the leader to him because she arrived first and there were asumption. (plus would you like to do a deal with a catfolk?)

"Ahh, well then" he says with a chuckle, "Tell them that they can come back inside after ten minutes, this should not take long." Once the others have left the room, Jevaf sees the thief step out from behind a stalagmite in the back of the cave, holding a covered bundle and a rod. He strikes it on the rock and the cave is filled with bright light. "You have the money? A thousand gold, as your master promised," he says to Jevaf.

If I could have used that opening, I need an other opening, so I can help push them back by jumping in, I just have to wait for another.
Ian waited and looked for another opportunity to jump into action, for he planed to plant himself in the next opening and spring for an attack.

Jevaf and Dassarr departed into the cave first, their steps were careful and well placed as they moves as quietly as they could. They were followed by the others with much less stealth, which to Dassarr and Jevafs annoyance might have blown their cover. As they walked down the tunnel Jevaf and Dassarr turn at the end to the opening on the right. Only to hear a voice that said “Hold it right there, you can put away your bows now, thank-you. Tell the others to stay outside and we can begin.” Jevaf with her eyes, attuned to the any depth of darkness, could not identify the source.

(sorry it took so long, was on vacation for those of you who didn't know.)
