Topic: Peradyse Lost
Subject: Close one
Breathing heavy, Logan stands there, bleeding and covered in the his own blood as well as that of the Orc Leader. "Today was not my day to die it seems." Logan says to himself. "Why must I always get so lucky in battles to face the tough ones?" He continues to himself, speaking so low he barely hears himself speaking. He looks over to where he knows Brianna and Highnar are and smiles as he sees them heading his way. He sticks one sword in the ground and cleans the blade of the other off before sheathing it. He then drops to one knee, then both and uses the sword he stuck into the ground as a post to help support his weight and keep him upright on his knees. He can feel the strength leaving him. He knows he wont die, but he also knows he must hang on till they arrive so he can tell them to get his healing potions from his saddle bags. The Orcs power it seems has done more damage than the blows of that sword itself as the cuts are vast and deep. He tries to laugh, but the pain in his ribs and side make it hurt way to much as he grimises in pain, and is to tired to cry out.
"Please hurry my friends, this one has drained me of my energy and I'm not sure how much longer I can stay concious." With that, Logan again looks into thier direction and smiles to let them know he is ok, but to also hope he sends the message to hurry.

"What the Frack is wrong with you?!" Bullseye says as he spins in his seat to try a get a better view as to what transpired in the back. "If you want to shoot something, shoot at those shooting at us you frackin turds or I'll leave you both here to fend for yourselves! You two got a problem, tough shit, it can wait till we get out of here to resolve, until then we have more important things to shoot at then each other!" With that, he sits and watches for a reaction out of the two.
(OOC:Sorry for not being very active this past month. Been a bad month for me, currently unemployeed, 3 systems crashes. -- Sorry to hear it. Bromern)

Subject: Attacking
Logan prepares himself as the Orcs approach. His plan is t attack 1, hopefully 2 orcs if the chance presents itself with his first attack. As before, he readies one weapon for a power attack swing by holding the along his forarm to aid in his swing. His other hand holds the other Long sword at the ready to parry an attack or to attack a foe of obertunity.
(OOC:Sorry for not posting this month, its been hell for me lost a job, gained one and lost it again + 3 system crashes and currently unemployeed. Not a fun month for me )

Subject: Ambush
With his two newly aquired longswords at the ready, Logan sits poised for battle. His breathing is slow and faint. His heart pumps slowly as if he is resting. He passes along and recieves singles from the others with narly a muscle movement. While he appears calm and collected outside, inside his mind, he is running thru all the possible scenerios when the ambush goes down. His attackes, counter attackes and what to do under if things dont go right.

"Now that we have word heading to town as to what comes, I say we use some suerilla tactics on them," Logan starts off, "toy with them as it were from a distance. And wait till they attack. The leaders are sure to be in the rear, and when they make their move on the town, we make our to take out their leaders from the rear. They would become much like a chicken with its head removed, unorginized and disoriented. Ofcourse, I am open to other suggestions, but that is mine."

Subject: Going for a pickup
Bullseye feels the truck lurch as he gets back onto the street as he heads south to the entrance of the parking lot. He feels it lurch again when he hits a curbs turning the corner hard. Not wanting to waste anytime he keeps his foot nailed to the floor while running thru the gears. "Man this whole op has turn into a major frackin disaster." he says to himself as he approaches the gate to the parking lot. Figuring now is not the time make unneeded oice, he stops, takes his ticket while doing his best to conceal himself from the camera and waits for the gate to raise before continueing into the parking lot. Once in, he is again on the gas heading to the northeast corner where he backs the van up to the gate/door in the fence. "Come on guys, lets move, I'm a sitting duck here." He mutters to himself as he waits for the rest to come to him.

Subject: Hail of Bullets
"SHIT" Bullseye says as the first round begin to hit the van. He quickly(I'm assuming it is a 5 speed manny trany, if not, it got thrown into drive) slams it back into first and nails the gas. He checks his mirrors as he pulls away south down the street. He sees one man down, and as he straightens out, 3 men all with assault rifles movin southerly aswell. "Croaker you fracker, you better answer this call damn it!" He yells to himself as he speed dials his phone. Not waiting to hear who answers it when the ringing stops, he yells, "Croak, we got 1 man down, 3 with assults comin south to the corner where I just was. Hold Freaking tight and stay cool, I'm coming to ya!" And with that he hangs up and begins to go over the map in his head about the area and calulates the best way to get to where Croaker and the crew are and how best to get everyone the hell out of here without more loses.

Subject: based on small and large maps
I'm guessing we are on the center block, top right corner building. If I'm correct on this accessment, a few more questions as being the driver of the group, i would have pulled recon before the strike to aquire this info in advance anyways. The parking area in the middle, is it above/below ground multi level? Does it have a height restriction? is it surrounded by chainlink fence or concrete walls? That area between the 2 building middle, center block, top, is it all open space? Any obstructions towards the back corner of the building we are currently at? The streets connecting to the parking area, are they gated, fenced, gaurded or anything else special I should be aware of?

Subject: VAN, street, alley and gangers
Could you please update the image from earlier to reflect current locations of all parties involved. I would be helpful to me to figure out what course of action weould be best even thou the van is being riddled with rounds. Also, could you post a zoom out of the city block we are on showing buildings, allies and streets. The van and people would not be neccesary for the larger view. If you can't post here, could you email it to me. I will post once I have a better idea as to what and where the action is taking place on the ground.

Bullseye see a figure down the way waving for him to come to him. Given the street size, he figures it best to back into the street to keep from being boxed in. "Man I hope that was one of the crew who just waved me to come this way, otherwise I'm gonna have my hands full." Bullseye says to himself as he checks his weapon, removes the safety and gets ready for anything. "I have to bring up after this job that we need to get closed cuircut radios for us to use instead of relying on these bloody phones." Bullseye mutters to himself as he backs the truck up.

Subject: Moving into Position
Bullseye having been surprised by the call and not actually hearing what was said, makes a frantic and very hard U-Turn in the middle of town with the truck while keeping his foot glue to the floorboard with the accelerator.
"Damn that Croaker, wish he would have let me acknowledge him first so I could know what his plan was." Bullseye mutter to himself as he keeps control of the vehicle on these rain slick roads and his wild u-turn.
As he heads up the street towards the buildings front, he thinks he hears what sounds like a car backfiring as he gets closer to the building. "I wonder if shit has hit the fan inside? Has to be the reason he didn't give me time to answer his call. Has to be." Bullseye says to himself again as he hears more clearly now, not backfires from a car but actuall gun shots.
"If shit has hit the fan in there, will they come out the front thou?" he wonders to himself. "Wish I had a copy of the plans to this building damnit?" He screams while bring the truck to a stop just before the building. "He most have a plan cooking, maybe I can figure out what it is. Try to think like Croaker."
As he tries to figure out Croakers' plan, he also plugs up is ear set incase he gets a call again.

"I think we should have Xour shadow them while we ride on briskly to warn the town of what he have found. Xour can follow us later if in fact they do move in the direction. If not, he can still ride to us and maybe we and that town can provide aid to whomever their true target is." Logan says as he looks around to see if anyone agrees with him.

"I see you are back in the saddle again today, Highnar." Logan starts off, "it also appears that you saddle has been made to better suit you aswell. That is good as it will give you better control. Lorae and myself will continue with your training today of horseback riding. Again we will keep it to the basics, are you ready?" Logan looks to highnar awaiting an answer from his own mount as he too waits for everyone to be ready to move out.

"It was my pleasure", Logans tells Lorae as they are preparing to start the new days travel. "If we are all on horse back, we can make better time than if we must wait for one who is not. Besides, everyone should now how to ride a horse, walking is just to damn slow. Also the switching of rear guard makes sence, keeps a fresh set of eyes on or backs for look out. One person doing it to often can get mondane. Not to mention the possibility of slacking off and then being surprised."

(OOC: Tan, an Amulet of Health adds points to your con score. So if you have an 18 before you done that +4, you'll have a 22 afterwards. Your HP will go up as a result as you will recieve the difference in HP that the your new bonus now gives you. EI: Con 18 = +4 HP, Con 22 = +6 HP. For a lvl9 character, you will recieve a 18 point HP bonus for dawning that Amulet. Hope that answers your first quest. Second question. In 3rd Ed Rules, Dex can be devided into 2 different catergories or left as one. But under the new rules, you no have a seperate Aim bonus. This is different that a standard melee attack bonus. I think, but am not 100% sure(dont have my book in front of me) that your aim bonus is the same, but if has rules as to how much of that bonus you actually recieve when using Bows, crossbows and throw weapons. EI: Something to close to you, within 5 ft I think, you get no bonus, 5-10 I think it is +1 regardless. 10-25 your stanard bonus -1 applies. 25-weapon max -25% full bonus + any additional bonuses. the last 25% + if you try to go beyond that, you recieve a - based on distance, weather and surroundings. Granted all of these are left for the GM to decide. Hope that all helps.)

Logan, going over the pile of items and slightly remembering what had caught his eye when they bagged them says, "I would like the Longsword+3(Flaming Burst, Keen) and offer up one of my Bastard Swords +2. Also, I relent my request for the Gloves of Dex to Highnar as he appears he could use them more than I."
With that, Logan waits for the others to take their turn at the pile and awaits the next go round.
