Subject: Watch and evening rest
Upon arricing at the clearing, Logan tied up his horse, removed the saddle and other equipment from the horse and proceeded to brush him down and allow him to drink from the river near by. He then makes his own rounds of checks some 50 paces outside of the encampment making spot checks to see if they had been followed or if they had unknowingly wondered into enemy territory.
When he returns to camp, he find everyone doing something to help out. Xour is making the stew, Lorea and Brianna are with the Highnar. Logan goes to where Highnar and Brianna are and waits for them to finish. When they do, "Highnar my friend, please ride my mount tomorrow and I shall ride "Roscoes'" mount. Having you on him will allow for a bit more equipment to be placed on my horse to help even the load as well as allowing me to help break that horse in so we can better use him. I assure you that my horse well manored and trained, you will find him a much easier mount to ride than this one."
When the subject of night watch comes up, "I'll take the second to last watch then." Logan offers up.
After super is completed, Logan starts off by saying, "Welp I think we should go thru what we collected from our encounter to what can be used and what can't as well as possibly exchanging equipment with ours based on who gets what out of our salvage." It would appear as thou the Dwarf is in need of some armour type equipment as it would appear he only has the armour on his back, a shield and his well forged axe." Logan looks to the others to see if they agree with what he says.
PS: Sorry for the delay, wife had surgey last week so I haven't done alot of online stuffs.

Subject: Helping a Companion
Logan seeing that Hignar is having a bit of difficulty, walks over with his horse to where Highnar is and offers some help. "Highnar, grab the reigns like so", Logan begins as he shows him how to hold onto them. Logan continues as he ties up his horse to a tree and begins to adjust the sturips for Highnars short legs. "now this should also help you better control this animal while riding as you need both your legs and arms to control him. Now if you want you to make him turn in a certain direction, you have to pull the reigns in a manner to make his head turn in the direction you wish to turn." Logan continues as he mounts his horse so he can show him how to control his new found ride while we move. Now mounted, Logan begins to show him examples of what he is talking about. "Now you give it a try and make your horse turn complete 360s in both left and right direction."
Logan waits and watches as Highnar does this. Logan then goes on to explain how to get the horse to move. "Now that you have that down somewhat, you'll get better with time, we have to get you to get that horse moving. What you what to do is to take your feet and kick him in the ribs. Bear in mind that the harder you kick, the harder he is going to take off. So if you do a light kick as such", Logan shows him, "he'll start off in a walk. The harder you kick, the faster he takes off, so you act as though your digging your heels into something like thus." Again Logan shows highnar an example of what he is talking about. "Your horase will take off like all hell has broken loose. Now obviously once you got him moving, you'll want to have him stop. In order to do that, you want to pull back on the riegns like this." Again, Logan gets his horse to take off and this time shows him how to make him stop. "We'll all help you more when we get to a location where it is a bit safer for us and you to practice and get better acustomed to riding and controling a horse. Til then I believe I will ride along side you so we can go over how to do things with you horse and to make sure you dont loose total control, ok?"
PS. After each example given, if needed Logan goes over again and also watches Highnar while he does them and makes suggestion and pointers to help him better control his new horse.

Subject: The booty
Logan, going thru the items they gathered, starts to make a pile of items he would like for himself. He starts off with a verynice Longsword +3 (Flaming Burst) Y/1/4/72315, then an Adamantine Breastplate +3 (Adamantine, Moderate
fortification,Landing, Silent moves) Y 1 30 59100. Next he selects the Belt of Giant Strength +4 Y 1 1 16000, A fine set of glove of Gloves of Dexterity +6 Y 1 0 36000 that appear to fit oh so nicely trying them on.
Logan still going thru the items also selects some valuables that while not weighing much have a high value to them. He starts with the Sapphire Pendant On Gold Chain Y 1 0.1 1400, then the 2 Ioun Stones [(Deep Red) Y 1 0 8000 (Lavender and Green) Y 1 0 40000]. Next up are an Amulet of Health +4 Y 1 0 16000, a Jeweled Electrum Ring Y 2 0.2 4000 and 2000 assported coins(you didn't specify so I'm guessing) and lastly a nice Shortbow, mighty (+2 Str) composite Y 1 2 225. He figures he can use this so he wont have to take so much hand to hand type damage in the future.

Subject: A request for a ride
Logan over hears Highnar and turns back in his direction and say, "You are welcome to ride with me on my horse if you wish until we find a mount for your own."
Going back to the loot that is being gathered, logan carefully goes over the swords the Drow had on them and were using during the fighting. He turns to Lorae and Brianna and asks, "I can tell good quality stuff when I see it and hold it. But I know nothing of magic. I like these, as he shows them the sword the drow he captured had and 2 others that had been gathered up, as they are light and very well balanced but they have a strange feel to them. Can either of you tell what it is I am sensing from them as to what kind of swords they are?"

Subject: Having been healed
"Thank you" Logan says to the drow preistess after she has healed him. "You have nothing to fear from us, of that I can assure you. We simply saw someone in peril and came to assist. Hopefully they wont bother you again for some time. I have met some Drow in my time, most would have anything to do with "outsiders", you seem different thou. Can't place my finger on it, but your demeanor is different from others I have encountered."
Logan stands up and then offers his hand to both Brianna and the Drow to help them to their feet. He then goes over the body of the drow he got to surrender and takes anything from him that maybe of use, swords, daggers, arrows and bolts, potions, maps, coin, gems even offering some up to the drow they were attacking.
He looks over the weapons the two drow he was engaged with were wielding. To see if they maybe better suited for him than his current weapons or maybe as backups.

Subject: Offer of Healing
Logan responds to the offer of healing "That is very kind of you. Dont mind if I do take some healing right now. And, I believe you are correct, it does appear that I have been poisoned but it doesn't seem to be affecting me all that much."
Waitng until his prisoner is secure before he sits down to recieve the healing. After he has been secured and is under watch, Logan sits and mutters to himself, "I have had better battles than this, I've also had worse."

I have heard the name before, but as to the kind of diety she is, i can't recall just yet. perhaps after I have healed up a bit and rested it will come back to me.

Subject: Take one alive
Logan turns his attention to the wounded Drow on the ground and stands over him. Places his Bastard sword to his throat and demands that he yield in elven. While doing this he moves the point of his short sword to his right shoulder and start to push it into him. He has also positioned himself so that his right(or left depends on hich hip the Drows' sword is attached to) is directly ontop of the sword making it almost impossible to unsheath the sword. If he refuses to yield, he will plunge the short sword into his shoulder.

Subject: Advantage
using the advantage gained from the drow falling, not wanting him to fall off the sword he just dug into his thigh with, Logan follows him to the ground forcing the sword even further into leg in hopes of pinning him to the ground with it. While doing this, with his other arm, injured as it is, he uses what strength he has to bring the sword up so the tip is placed below the chin of the drow(the tip is located above the adams apple in the natural "V" groove line of the underside of the lower jaw) he has followed to the ground and yells in common and elven to yield or be run thru.
He hopes he can take him alive, but knows his chances are slim. He as well as his commrads are sure to have questions they would like answers to and he maybe able to supply them. He is valunerable, but he knows his commrads has his back even thou he had just met them not 1 full day prior.

Subject: continuing the attack
Logan continues to press the attack against his foe. This time as he swings his bastard sword, he lets out a loud and thunderous yell as he charges at his target as he swings his sword in a short over hand arc. While he does this he readies his short sword for a upward swing between the legs of his foe.

Having hit twice but only once connecting for damage. He continues his attack at the drow he had just suprised. Again attacking with his Bastard sword.

Subject: Singing Swords
Once in positition and sure noone has noticed his approach, Logan readies his primary attack. The Sword he carries in his right hand is held spine against the arm. When he comes out from behind the Drow and makes his neck level swing at one of them, the speed at which the tip of the sword slices thru the air makes it sound almost like an arrow. Using his forearm to not only help guide his attack but also to add power to it as he has all his weight behind this. He knows if he misses, it will leave himself open, but if he hits, and hits where he is aiming, the neck, the Drows' head will fall to the ground. 
His second attack is dictated by the first. If the attack goes as he hopes, he will atack the next nearest Drow with a slashing attack of the sword in his left hand. If the attack hits but not where he hopes, then he'll atack a second time(the same Drow) with the sword in his left hand. If he misses, he'll use it to parry as best he can any coutner attack.

build a 3 new homes(my family, my brothers and my parents) at same local
have 1 underground game/entertainment bunker central to mine and my brothers
have 2 highend massive servers(1 for our needs and 1 for lobby for using as a DDO sever)
build 10 extreme highend systems(all nvidia based and SLI'd and multi proc)
invest some and no longer work

Subject: getting closer
As Logan approaches the Drow trying to make off with the girl. He readies his 2 swords. He carries one in his left hand, out in the open, his arm loose holding it straight out ready to parry/block any attempted attack. His right arm/hand are in a straight line along his body. It is almost impossible to see the upper blade of his sword as he carries it with the spine riding along his arm up behind him. If one were to look even closer, they would notice the sword doesn't sway or move around much, as if it is locked into poisition. Seeing Briana moving in to stop the progession of the 2 dragging the female, he works towards those closest to him. If he can get there unseen, his first attack will be a neck lvl power(the power in this swing come from the fact the sword stay against the forearm during the whole attack, with the persons body weight being used to force it thru the target) sweeping swing with the sword that is currently mostly hidden behind him. When done currectly, the sword sings thru the air as though it is slicing the air itself before it hits the intended target. You could say it sounds like an arrow flying thru the air. Should the attack strike and it do the desired affect, a clean decapitation, his second attack will be a downward slicing arc with the sword in his left hand on the drow to his targets right side. If it doesn't, then the second attack will be a sweeping downward slice on the same target with the sword in his left hand.

"Got It" Logan says out loud as he dismounts and heads off in that direct. As he does so, he draws both his swords outs. He positions himself so that they can not get around him without him seeing them nor without them escaping. He waiting for his que before heading into the battle.

Logan riding slowing in the back, his horse as big as he is, barely making any noise either ponders if the dragonette could make anymore noise as he believes a herd of horses would be quiter. He whispers to himself, "We should be quite and on gaurd now that the dragonette has possibly given us away."

Subject: Walking thru the forest
Logan brings up the rear, looking in all directions. Over his should every few steps changing they way he does it each time to prevent a pattern that an enemy migt be able to determine and how many steps between look backs aswell.
He looks up ahead as Xuor leads the way with his wolf followed by Brianna and her Dragonette. After her is it Lorea and Roscoe. Everyone spaced out to prevent everyone getting hit at once in an ambush.
Yes, we walk thru forests with drow now, best to keep ones wits about them lest they end up dead.

Subject: Nearing the forest
"My appologies Roscoe, I thought I had exchanged names before," Logan starts off, "My name is James "Logan" Moore but you may call me Logan. And a magic user is a most welcome addition."
As they approach the forest even more and given what Lorea has said, "Should we not slow down a bit as to not sounding like a stampede?" Logan asks Lorea.
"Roscoe," Logan begins, "it might be best if you stay in the middle of the group while we ride and keep your defencize spells at the ready should we get suprised. Not that I'm saying anything you didn't already know"
And with that, Logan drops back to join Xuor providing rear watch for the group.

Hearing someone yelling in the distance behind them as they speed along, Logan slows down to better hear what is being said.
"Sure, i dont see a problem with it. The more the merrier as greater numbers makes for a better chance of survival. But you may want to pick up the pace a bit as we have a ways to go and not alot of time to get there."
Turning his attention towards Xuor, he asks, "Seen anything suspect yet that might be trying to tail us from behind?"
Logan wait for an answer before moving back up to the front where Lorea and Brianna lead the way.
"We have a new comer who has asked to join, I told him I didn't see an issue with it."

Logan mounts up as effortlessly as though he were getting on a pack mule. Kicks his heels into his and yells, "Heyaw".
"Shouldn't we have waited for the dwarf before taking off?" He asks. "Or had he decided not to join us on this journey?"

After making some small talk, Logan brings up the subject at hand, "Not sure if you are feeling whats in the air around us or not, but I do and wreaks of evil. Something or Someone has held up others who should have arrived last night. This does not bold well for our beginning." Whiel still looking at Lorea, he asks Brianna, "What is it that has changed your mood from last night Brianna?" Then turn his head and makes eye contact with her. "And where is our friend the Dwarf from last night, did he have too much to drink?"

from where logan sits, he sees the two women preparing to ride off so he makes his way to his horse. unties him from the rail and starts to walk back to the inn, leading his and glancing over his should every so often.
Arriving in front of the inn, he greets the two women, "Morning ladies, how are you this morning? Sleep well I trust? I fear it may well be awhile before we get a good night sleep again."
He stops about 5 feet away commands his horse to stay and walks over to the horses they will be riding. "What fine animals you have. The stallion you have look like they could run forever without ever getting tired. And this third, also just as fine but I'm guessing he isn't used for riding, am I right?"

Subject: Edge of Town
Once reaching the edge of town, Logan dismounts and walks his horse back to the closet building with a horse rail in view of the front of the inn. He then walks back out to the edge of town and finds a nice shaded spot to sit out of sight so to speak. He positions himself in sucha way that he can see the front of the Inn and the road leading out of town in the direction he has chosen to watch over. "I hate surprises," Logan mutters to himself, "but I hate not seeing what is coming even more." It is always the same for me he thinks to himself, I'm coursed no matter I do, so I always chose to act instead of react. Hope they are ready to leave soon, evil is near and I feel it in my soul.
