Topic: Peradyse Lost
Subject: Early Morning

Having woken up before the moon had set and well before the sun had rose. Logan prepared his horse for he knew today the adventure would begin. After doing his morning routine of excerise, he walked his horse out of the stable to the front of the Inn where he secured him to the horse rail. He walked into the inn, ordered up some breakfast, greated Xuor when he came downstairs. The quietly went outside, saddled up and rode to the outskirts of town where he awaited the others and also to keep watch.

Subject: In the Stable

As Logan enters the stable, he sees his horse, he notes he appears to have been waiting for his return. As he walks towards the stable where he rest, he walks up to him and looks him and rubs him between the ears as he says, "Midnight my friend, we have quite the gathering for this adventure. 1 Elf, 1 Dwarf and 2 extradenary beutiful women with us so far. The others have not arrived yet, maybe we'll meet them on the road as something has obviously held them up. What do you think? We got a chance on this one?" he asks the horse in a low voice.

The horse just stares at him, simply responding without making a sound to him rubbing between his ears.

Logan gives him an apple and some carrots he picked up ealrier in the day at the market in town then proceeds to make a bed like area for him to lay down on. It is a about an hour before he finially falls to sleep, a light sleep at that.

PS:Somepeople like to make accounts for each character so that if, lets say they are running a game, they can have there in game PC(s) and the DM accounts.

"Brianna, thank you for the offer, but I must retire. Tomorrow for us shall start early. Give what would have been mine to Highnar." With that he turns to Highnar, "Friend, enjoy this night with the others and enjoy my drink for me. Xuor, please learn to relax just a little. Life is short, even for an Elf, thou you shall out live me of this I'm sure, try to learn to enoy life just a little. Danger doesn't lurk behind every door just to make our lives miserable." With that he turns and leaves the group at the table.

With that, Logan looks at the piece of paper, reads it and then hands it to Xuor as he gets up to leave. "Here, you can burn this seeing as how you dont believe in fate." With that, Logan leaves the Table, hands the waitress and two more gold pieces and then heads to the stable where he will stay the night.

Logan looks at the rune stones, looking for something that might seperate one from the others. After a few seconds of studying them, he chooses as they appear to be all the same size, shape and color. Without saying a word, reaching out to take the closest one to him, but hesitates and then reaches for the 3rd one from the left. He slides it across the table to infront of him all without saying a word.

"Not that it matters much seeing as how I have already choosen mine, but why do this before the whole group is here?" Logan asks Lorae.

"My apologies Xuor," Logan began, "I hadn't forgoten your question, just simply got side tracked with greeting those who would be joining us." Logans face takes on a bit more serious look to it as he continues. "As to what exactly, I am unsure, but what I can tell you is that here is where our journey begins. There is an evil so strong it is almost as though it originates with the gods themselves. Since my journey began, this "tug" has gotten stronger. Your face says you are wondering why you are here? Am I really supposed to get involved? I can tell you this, you are important to this group that is gathering and you need not worry about danger either, atleast not on this night. Our journey together starts tommorrow, and where we are headed is a 4 week journey by foot without problems, but we ride by horse and there shall be problems along the way. And the boy the dwarf saw earlier, if it is the one I have seen, he is not a real child. He is a spy sent here to gather information. It is true that adventurers, hunters, trackers and bounty hunters come thru here, but I am afraid that just like me, the "boy" knows what he is looking for and may already be returning to his master with the news that most of us are here. No matter though, we sit tonight and enjoy ourselves, this shall be our last peaceful evening for awhile as the childs' master wont do anything until sometime tommorrow and it is the master we need alive if we can manage it. Now will you please enjoy yourself, drink and eat, please? I ensist that you relax and enjoy."

Raising his right eyebrow as he watches the Flame slide down Brianna's arm and then speak. "Had I known you could speak, I would have asked you directly Flame. My apologies and what would you like?"

"Good Evening Lorae", Logan starts off, "I am james "Logan Moore, but you may call me Logan."

"Evening Highnar Goldblade, you could have taken your time. We are in no real hurry as we still await another that I have forseen. You may call me Logan aswell."

Just then, Logan appears to drift off, as if in a trance, as a low glow starts to surround him. Just as quickly as it happens, it goes away. Blinking his eyes as if to remoisten them, logan begins again. "Hmmm, it appears we may have yet another to join us later."

Turning back to Goldblade, "I'm appologize for that, but please do tell us about this boy you ran into. What did he look like? Did you recogonize him from around here? Did he appear lost or out of place? He didn't by chance look unkept, not well fed but yet full of life and energy that wouldn't stop?"

"I'll take some and bring enough for 6" Logan begins, "as there is one upstairs I suspect may join us later and we are still exspecting one other who has yet to arrive" Logan places another 5 gold pieces on the table for the waitress to take, "If that isn't enough to cover it, please let me know and remember to keep our pitchers full make it the best you have from here on out."

Logan looks around the table, then remember something, "Make it seven bowls, I'm sure our friend here" as he bets the wolf on the head and scratches him between the ears, "would like some of the fine stew aswell." He looks to Brianna and asks, "Would your dragonette like something aswell?"

"My name is James Moore, but you may call me Logan. Interesting Dragonette you have there and the wolf is the rangers here." The hooded man begins, "The wolf belongs to Xuor here and I invited the dwarf over some time ago but he has of yet to make it this way. Seems he knows a few people here. As for me, I am form a far off place. I'm here because there is trouble coming and unless it is stopped here, it will reach where I live soon enough."

He looks at her very inquizitively before removing the hood from his head. Doing so reveals a young face, much younger than would have been guessed with the hood up, bearded, a mustache, both neatly groomed, and 3 barely noticable scars running diagnoly across his face. It is clear he has seen his fair share of battles. Then asks, "Have you felt the tug of evil at you very being as if something very bad was going to happen if something wasn't done about it? It is this feeling that has drawn me here."

"‘Quel undome taur'ohtar, " he responds after the elf has finished. "I do know some elven, although I have not practiced it for a good while, so I am a bit rusty. My apologies if I screw up later on and dont fully understand."

He looks towards the bellowing dwarf as he makes his entrance and demands and beckons him to join his table an two other companions. He also signals the waitress for another pitcher of ale. Leaving 5 gold pieces on the table with instruction to keep their pitcher full until they say enough.

As the young warrior takes her seat, the hooded man riefly stands to be a gentleman then returns to his seat.

"That you both for coming to my table." he says, still without removing his hood just as of yet.

Only now, with little light from the candle can some facial features be made out. The man is young clearly from the tone of his voice, but his face looks much older. He has a beard and mustache. His hand and face both bare scars from battles long past. From what can be told, he is very strong as well and there doesn't appear to be any fat anywhere on him. It can also be seen that he is wearing armour, as thou he expects something bad to soon. It too is also battle proven.

"We have many things to discuss about events that are happening around us" he starts out, "but that can wait until everyone has arrived. My name is James "Logan" Moore, you may call me Logan. I have traveled here from a far off place as the events that are going to unfold here will undoubtedly affect the land from where I come form if not stopped here first. Unlike you, I do not have a familar that travels with me. My bloodline is from an old and forgotten noble family which I am the last of. For now, I shall leave it at that, what of you two?" And with that, Logan grabs a tankard, leans back sips on his ale and listens intently as they tell him of themselves.

Again the door opens and yet again another young and beautiful women enters the door. The time the stranger in the corner locks eyes with the women and raises an eye-brow as the dragonette lands on her shoulder. He then motions for them to join him and the elf just as the elf is taking his seat across from him.

He then motions to the bar to have her drink plus 2 more delivered to his table.

As one elf was making his way to where the stranger sat, another came into the inn with such stunning beauty as to make the world stop, hearts as well. He looked in her direction, looking her over, this time careful not to lock eyes. He knew several things form looking at her. First, she could handle herself more than well enough. Second, he would be meeting with her later, of this he was certain and lastly, the reason for not locking eyes was that he senced something about her and didn't wish to reveal hiself to her just yet. He feels the two of them will have a coming with one another eventually that should prove interesting for all of those he knows will be involved in correcting what is wrong.

As the elf and his wolf approach the dark corner booth where they were motioned to goto, the man sitting there light the candle sitting on the table. The candle does produce alot of light, but enough so that his presence is now known. His facial features are still mask from the hood of the cloak he wears, but one could now see more than just a figure. The cloak being worn looks old and greenish grey. The shirt sleaves that are visible look well worn and the brown color is faded. The hands of the person sitting there look rough. They looked as though, they too had seen happier times before becoming scarred and hardened from the outside elements.

Looking towards the door as it opens, he sees a man accompanied by a wolf enter the inn. Without moving, he locks eyes with wolf and notices he changes his demeaner a bit. He then locks eyes with the new comer, looking him over notices he is an elf. "Could this be the elf I've been waiting for?" he ponders to himself. He looks back to the wolf locking eyes once again and the wolf reverts back to his happy stance as if to say he is ok. "This is one of whom I await her this night" he says to himself. From the shadows, he motions for both the elf and his wolf companion to come to his table.

2 hours have past and the figure in the corner is almost hidden from site. You really have to look closely to even notice anyone sitting there. people still avoid the corner booth, but now if a new comer enters, they would only figure it is because the corner is to dark.

Subject: In the inn

Off, in one of the corner boths, almost totally concealed by the shawdows sits a man with his cloak's hood concealing any possible features of his face from what little light makes it to where he sits. He watches as people come and go. As the waiters and waitresses hurry around serving the patrons of the inn. His back is to the wall so he can see everything, careful to not be noticed. Almost as if he is waiting for something or someone. He goes totally unnoticed by all as if he wasn't even there. If someone were to notice, they wouldn't see much more than a shawdowy figure, or what appeared to be that of a person sitting in the shawdows. There also seems to be an erie aura around where he sits. As people who seem to linger in towards where he sits, seem to stop and then go somewhere else, as though something tells them not to wander any closer. Its is a feeling that is best descibed as crawling skin or spine chilling chills. A signal that they are not welcome and should go away. This person or thing, who or whatever sits in the corner, is clearly waiting for someone or something specifically and would rather not be disturbed.
