I honrestly thought I had posted already. Score one for sleep deprivation. Arra will wait a turn, doing nothing. The reason for this is her next actions will be determined by the effectiveness of Ta'nil and Brokrok's actions. Post in a few mins.

Oh please please please maybe add me???

Shortish, curvaceous, typically in jeans, high heeled boots, V neck shirts, and glasses, with my tricolor (brown, gold, red) hair in a messy thrown together updo.

but the skellies are chained up...or did i misread that?

"... and long chains dangled from their necks to end in iron rings on the walls of the chamber. They were bound, but their chains long enough to reach at least every corner of the room"

so... i think there's time

A;right, I'm in behing Glitch, but none of us actually are carrying a torch or lightsource of any kind, so... we may be kind of screwed.

I suggest we do nothing more than just open each door, and depending on what we find, come back up, stock up, and head back down. Plus, when we come back up, Arra can intimidate the doc into revealing what he knows. Which I am kind of looking forward to, actually....

Arra could scare believe her ears. Leave? Without going downstairs? Her eyes narrowed in suspicion, tail swishing faster, and eyed the doctor as if he were but a mouse with cream gravy. Leave, how silly, after they had come all this way to look into things, and there were still things that needed looked into. Like this place. Her claws itched a little, and she made a small movement towrds the good (or not so good) doctor, when she realized her companions were already on the move.

Coming up behind Glitch and Gadget, she couldn't help sniffing a little, but only because the tiny one smelled so delicious and she still hadn't found the mice she'd wanted. Her paw came up to rest on Glitch's shoulder, meant to assure him of her presence. THe excitement in the air was palpable, and she was looking forward to finding the cause of the commotion.

"We should go Left," she murmured, refusing her eyes to the reduced light. "And someone should make a light."

So far from the looks of the posts, it's Ta'nil taking point, followed by Glitch and Gadget, and I am writing a post now that puts Arra behind them.

Finally posted. 'Tis short, but better than none.

Are we on hiatus, fizzled, or just needing extra time?

“Wakey, wakey, lass, ye’ll nae be lastin’ long ef ye only see wha’ be in front o’ ye, aye"

The captain peeled her back and she blinked, shook her head. The grin never wavered as she reached up to wipe the blood from her face, unintentionally just smearing it and making the damage look worse than it truly was. She didn't mind, this was what she had been searching for. The sense of calm that rippled over her felt like completion, contentment, but was short lived; she still had to make it to the ship. As Jericho fussed over Willow, she spared a moment to glance about, taking stock.

Aye, she thought, Wine'd be fairly done in with fits of anger and cries of empty vengeance after this, and she was rather surprised he hadn't made it down to see the explosion of violence for himself yet. There'd be no more work for here, she knew, and that was more than fine with her. She was headed for much grander things than is dive. Though, she had to admit, the thought of leaving all this behind made her a trifle sad. And...oh by the gods, her things! Not that she had much in the way of treasures, but... there were a few personal items she'd cherished and would hate to lose.

Lyri turned her head fast, narrowly avoiding an elbow to her already bloodied face, and cast her spritely green eyes up at the stairs. No, there's be no time, not if she wanted to make it out of here without irons on. The thought made her shudder, and she made her way towards fortune and glory in the company of her new crew mates. There would be more things to treasure, she took comfort in thinking, and now, new friends. As they neared the exit she looked back one last time, searching the brawling mass for Khash.

Subject: =^.^=

Depends on your preferences. For me, most of the titles I play are on multiple platforms, so that doesn't really matter to me. But, I play a lot of online multiplayer games, like Black Ops and MW3, and PS3 doesn't charge you for PSN (PlayStation Network)access, and that's a huge plus for me. I also like the PLayStation Plus feature, which allows member exclusive content and is only $50 a year, and gives you free games, addons and other fun things. I don't know if the Xbox 360 has anything like that. We have the huge HD with ours, and can load it up with games, movies, and music. And we downloaded software that lets us play our favorite PS2 titles.

And having played with the Kinect, i find i like the PlayStation Move a lot more reactive and accurate.

I also have a family, and family games are important to me, so the Wii is my 2nd favorite console. THe graphics aren't quite as awesome as the PS3, but the games we play are funa nd engaging and competitive.

I won't ever buy an Xbox360. i just don't see the added value in it like I enjoy with my PS3.

To those of us celebrating toaday, Happy Thanksgiving. I hope your feastings are plentiful and filled with family, friends, and love. Too often we charge ahead full steam through life, with only a vague understanding of how lucky we all are. Today, I hope you are all able to slow down, reflect, and give thanks.

Today, I give thanks that my family is finally complete. Two beautiful children, a loving partner, a roof over my head that we built with our own two hands, and clean clothes on our backs. I am truly where I want to be and I hope all of you are, as well.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Questions...

For Roy -
Who tends the mushrooms in the the chapel?
Is the tender also the planter?
Did anyone bear any ill will towards Sofia?
Did anyone else come down with the same fever and not recover?
Who tended her illness?
Does the town have any major competitors in the shroom market?

For each Family:
How long have they been raising the types of mushrooms they raise?
Who do they view as a competitor?
Do they have any known enemies?

For Granny Tapestry:
When were her last guests there?
How many people work for her?
How many of those are newcomers to town?
How long did the last guests say?
Where did they go while they were in town?
When did they leave?
What did they look like?
Did they leave anything behind?
How often are the rooms cleaned?
Who cleans them?
Did they say anything suspicious?
Have new traders come through?
Have any of the trade caravans that are usually passing through had any "new" drivers in the team?

The scent of field mice was like a delicious, frustrating and mouthwatering tease for Arra. When the mushroom man spoke, she listened, taking notes mentally, but she could smell his displeasure at the interruption of something important to him. And Arra, curious, mimicked his movements as he prayed, eyes closed and tail swishing quizzically. The action had no meaning to her, but she tried her best, including a low soft purr, meant to comfort, which this action, for the Doc, clearly was part of.

Arra waited till he was finished, and opened one eye to the Doctor. "And now we have mice, yes? And morrrrre talking. We talk to you about the families now?"

She had her own questions, and hoped they would find answers soon, as her stomach was empty and there was still much to do.

((Posting questions in the Q&A next))

Arra seemed disappointed, if one wanted to put a finger on it - her tail twitched unhappily, and she pawed at the ground with her foot whenever standing still for longer than a moment or two. Impatient. And Disappointed. Having never been partied before, she had no really idea of how these things were supposed to work. She had assumed, from the stories told to her while just a kit, that heroes went to troubled places, poked things, found the problems, and fixed them.

She had not actually realized there would be investigating, dead ends, and a decidedly noticeable lack of good hunting. Her nose had not even detected wandering food, and her nose and whiskers twitched.

The temples seemed as likely a place as any to find mice, which she had come to think of over the years as a sometimes food, and more of an appetizer, really, than proper meals, but she thought better on a full stomach. Well, she fought better, But they words rhymed, and therefore they were closer to each other than thought and investigate, and that was the important thing.

She stared off towards the church, tail swishing now as she considered this.

"I shoud like to see what is happening therrrrre," she purred quietly, not sure if they wouuld accept her suggestions. After all, she had pretty much invited herself along, and while they were nice enough to her face, she worried that her obvious differences would keep them from accepting her. Because that would make things a little less easy.

Also - Questions...

THe tree with the mark - how close is it to any of the graves? What are the names in it (or them) if it's near any of them. Are there more graves of a particular name than others? What's the name on the recent one? Did we fnd anything at all around it? Bent grass, foot prints, pie? I am kind of hoping for pie.

So so sorry guys. I haven't been purposely neglecting you all. Well It was purposeful, but not badly. WE had a VERY full week here in my RL and the next six more look to be pretty darn similar! Which is nice, businesswise, but oy my back! Anyhow, Yes, Hammer, Arra would like that. TI will be a chance to prove her usefulness and more.

I'm working on a post now and should have it up very, very soon.

Thank you so much for everyone's patience!!

Despite the underwhelming sales made today, we succeded in two things" generating buzz (always good) and helping the local shelter. However, after five days of baking for 14 hours a day, I came home and promtly fell asleep for several hours. MY better half says he woke me up one, put a burger in my hand and commanded me to eat, and I went right back to sleep after. I do not even remotely recall this, but there was a wrapper by my head when I woke up! So off to post in Trilogy and MHC, then here. Hoping to get them all in tonight, but the baby is fussing a bit.
