Subject: whew....

It was over. Areldor heart was still pumping, strong grip still upon his club. He could not himself believe what had happened. He licked his lips glanced down at his black tunic covered with remains of their foe's "Truly" he said to himself "the Goddess Minerva was very merciful to me and my companions. Thank you again Minerva and to you Uncle." To Areldor his actions were of divine more than skill and he knew it. He had much to be thankful. His new (dare he may say friends) came out of this with their lives.

Glad of the hard fought victory, he was puzzled on why the eye patches held the pirates from striking those that wore them. At that moment he looked down at the paladin "You have my thanks, friend." Extending his hand to Areldor, Jaufre could not prevent a flash of pain from crossing his face as the cut in his side shifted; something the paladin was quick to try to cover up with a grin. "The battle would surely have been different if not for the aid of such stout-hearted companions." Areldor reached down with a slight smile and grabbed the hand of the holy warrior and helped him up from the ground. "Yes, we do have many in our little band." the illusionist said to Jaufre when he got to his feet.

He hear Elyra say that we should head to the "Happy water's" and Amur agree but Areldor wanted to check on all of the seekers to see if they needed any assistance from what little first aid he could render before head north to the interesting sound.

That fine with me Odyson. If we have to fight them this round you will be able to help there left flank. Hope the eye patches work; maybe this can be resolved with out loss of life.

Areldor listened and looked as the Seekers tried to formulate a plan against the undead foe. It seemed to him that everyone had some idea what to do and he none. Knowing that he was without armor and that his spells were useless, he had to fall back on the weapons training. Holding his black ash club as Garlin instructed, he steadies his nerves and prepared for what was to come. “Goddess Minerva, grant us understanding in how we are to face our foe. “ Areldor said aloud hoping that the goddess heard and would assist him and his companions.

The pirates moved closer and Areldor could hear Willem and Vincent moving toward the ones from the east as he and Jaufre, Elyra, Mylos and Bartimeous faced the southern and western foes. Someone cried out put on the eye patches. “Eye patches!” was the illusionist thought “Where is that eye patch!” He remembers it was in his bag and he quickly shoved his right hand into his bag and with a shock to his hand it was not found only his spell book. Panic was about to overcome him, then he glanced over to Elyra and remembered just before the alarm of the pirates he and the bard were have a pleasant but silly conversation, then his hand reached up to his forehead and he felt the eye patch. “Safe passage” was the words the Captain used when they were handed out. The words gave the illusionist peace, and a new confidence. Areldor whispered “Thank you Goddess Minerva” believing that his prayer was answered he prepared himself to be ready for what was to unfold.

With the info Hammer has givin I say stand and fight. I know I have the lowest hp and the worst AC but I am more than willing to fight on the front line. Say we circle up and pray then start swinging. Hey maybe those eye patches will work too.

If we move at 6 squares and they do to they will be on us in in one turn from the south and west. Now is time for a quick heart felt prayer to whatever gods we worship and hope they are merciful. Smash thru the east and regroup circle up and then take on all comers.

The problem is the speed of the pirates. They seem to move fast for stick figures. lol But you might be right we as a group should help Crow clean up any loose ends then hope that we are done in time to turn on the southern flank.

I agree with Jozan, the fighters can handle what they have our biggest threat is from the south and west. Are the blocks 10 ft in size?

Hammer I was not that sure about the mist spell working or not thanks for the help. But if I get Ami with my club, the hand book shows that I get 1d6+1 to damage and and you say I can get two swings with the club? If that be true and I believe these guys are only 2HD (if that is still the term) Two wacks may do the job and we could take them.

Subject: I am not that squishy!!

I was thinking the same thing Odyson that a map would help. If we do a semi circle with me in the middle. have Crow move to the north as a pathfinder. I could use Obscuring Mist which covers a 25x20x5. If everyone would close in on me to draw the enemy in, then I cast the spell it might be enough to cover the team to ecaspe to the north to regroup. It will only last a minute but even special vision can not see thru and I know you can run really far in a minute. So this might be an option.

"We should take one group on, I say the right. Fight them before the rest hit, but we don’t have much time!" He heard from the fighter name Willhem, The group started making the shift in the direction he was going, ready to make there encounter with the undead forces. Areldor quickly moved his staff to his back and grabbed his club. Rethinking to himself the chose of spells."My mist spell will be the only thing that will work against them."dismay creped into his thoughts but need to survive outwayed it. He held the club even more tightly and as the team moved, he did also. Holding the club, he prepaired to battle the ememy with his companions.

(OOC if needed use my mist spell to cover an escape, also club undead when needed.)

Could color spray into the group that might clear a path, my hound can distract others. We might just make it. I think we will get closed in either way we strike. The ship might be a best hope.

I guess the question is what group do we see? One or all of them. If we charge I would charge the center. If we get thru we might make it back to the ship.
