Let's get this party started.... again...

“You see I believe you might have had something to do with the explosion outside and if you did I need to know who ordered you to attack that ship and why? Tell me that and maybe we can talk a deal.” Si-Di said.

The Arcona's face suddenly hardens. "I'm not sayin' nothin'..."
Si-Di shakes her head sadly at the salt-addicted Arcona, she could tell immediately that he was lying and was now going to play tough with her. Maybe he suspected that her being a female and a Jedi she wouldn’t force any answers from him and he would be right on that account; it was not in her nature.

“Can you tell me what you might have witnessed?” She asked turning to ‘Rok’ once again, “and maybe it would help to understand why you attacked these men in the first place.” She had seen him kick the one Arcona before diving in their direction when they have first entered the cantina. This man seemed reluctant to answer questions, probably thought it best to stay out of business that was not his own.

Look, Guild security!" someone in the cantina says.

Si-Di turns to see two security men, dressed in bright red with gold trimming, a Twi'lek and a Duros, carrying blaster rifles enter the cantina along with a person who appears to be their leader, a Trandoshan female.

"Attention, patronsss," she announces, "I am Susska, Chief of Ssecurity for the Dathu Mining Guild. I am here to inquire as to whether or not any of you have any information about the destruction of that transsit ship."

Si-Di is about to address the Mining Guild Security Chief when ‘Rok’ spoke up cutting her off.

Greetings Susska." the words rolled off his tongue without the slightly reservation, "Name's Rok, and I believe the one you're looking for is right here." Rok gestured at the Arcona,
Before the Trandoshan Security Chief can speak, Si-Di steps up and has her say about the matter.

“I am Si-Di, I have come here as a representative of the Republic and the Jedi Council to negotiate proceedings between the Mining Guild and the Union.” She gestures with a delicate wave of her hand towards the window where they can see the remains of the transport ship.

“My Master was killed by an explosion aboard that ship when we landed,” she continued hiding the grief she felt inside at his loss, “I believe this Arcona and another accomplice who fled this establishment might know something about the explosion.”

She looks down at the tied up Arcona for a second then back to the Security Chief, “I have detained this man for questioning in this matter under the authority given to me by the Republic and the Jedi Council.”

Looking the Security Chief in the eyes she adds firmly, “When I am done with my questioning, and I have consulted Administrator Namor, I will release this man to your custody for further interrogation.”

Her tone was firm and her belief in her authority was absolute; her Master had been killed and she would do what she could to find those responsible and complete the mission which was entrusted to her upon her Master’s demise.

“Now,” Si-Di continues, “If you would please have someone examine the wreckage of the ship for evidence and also if they find any remains of a Jedi Master among the dead, please secure it and notify me at once…. Thank you!”

She stands waiting for the woman’s reply, assured that the Security Chief will follow proper procedures in this matter. Master Allum had always instructed her to take charge in any negotiations, it let everyone know who was in command and enforced their authority over the dispute; she intended to follow his example.

(OOC: I know she doesn’t know about what happened in the alley with the others and how the other Arcona was killed by the Union Guards, but she is already suspicious of everyone and protective of her captive and if they attempt to take or kill her prisoner her force sense should alert her in time to stop any rash actions . I hope . )

Kavtan Cleentor

Kavtan ran towards the cantina, eager to get there for some reason he didn't quite know, maybe he just wanted to run, it had been so long since he had gone specifically for one. It was good to exercise his joints again, he had spent so long working on ships that although he was extremely dexterous he hadn't had time to exercise.

On arriving at Klebb's place he saw 3 people in red and gold, they must be from the guild. He entered the cantina through he blasted window and introduced himself immediately. He registered there race as soon as he had a clear look at them, a Twi'lek and a Duros, one of his own race, all carrying blaster rifles with a Trandoshan female, there boss as it turned out.
"Kavtan Cleentor, I am an employ of Klebb and helped Si-Di putting out the fire on the transport and rescuing the passengers."
His voice was thinner then usual, it was seeing the head of security for both The Union and The Guild in the same hour, possible the very guy who had put a price on his head.

Si-Di continues, “If you would please have someone examine the wreckage of the ship for evidence and also if they find any remains of a Jedi Master among the dead, please secure it and notify me at once…. Thank you!”
Si-Di had said something that slightly interested him, his response was probably less pleasing to Susska then she must have wanted but it made sense.
"Si-Di, I'll have a look at the wreckage, I didn't have time before but I doubt there will be much remaining of the bomb, the best chance will be some sort of transmitter"
this next part was a tactical stroke of genius by him thought
"but if there was one it was probably held by the arcona that fled, Tamir Slade and his crones killed him and carted him off through. You know, The Union, it would be best if they could of let me search him but they didn't extend that hospitality to myself and the other Jedi."

He did this to keep Si-Di updated of cause but his focus was on Susska, her reaction would prove himself to be genius or fool, depends how diplomatic she was and how she took bad news.

Going Back to the Beginning

Ninkanna slowly walks back to the cantina, watching Kavtan run on ahead. Inside, Ninkanna sighs. Maybe she'd be able to do a simple test flight or something after meditation, something anyway that she was actually good at.

As she returns along her path, she keeps an eye out in the crowd for the one person whom she had almost collided with earlier. If she finds the person, she apologizes, both for the incident, and for the lateness of her apology, explaining that she was just in quite a hurry, and she would be sure to take care not to do that again.

Her leisurely pace was also primarily to aid in getting her headache to subside, and she was confident that Si-Di and the others could handle their end of things far better than she had done.

(I'll post a post where Ninkanna arrives at the cantina a bit later, fitting with her slow pace)

Susska

Susska shoots a passing glance at 'Rok' as he edges towards the door. Obviously the human's actions are not of her concern, and she merely nods in his general direction before returning her gaze to the captured Arcona and Jedi, as well as the arriving Duros mechanic, Kavtan Cleentor.

"If you would please have someone examine the wreckage of the ship for evidence and also if they find any remains of a Jedi Master among the dead, please secure it and notify me at once…. Thank you!"
Susska nods her head slightly and raises her comlink to speak into it.

"Have sssomeone comb the wreckage for any...remainsss," she says. "We want to respect the wishess of the Republic."

"Si-Di, I'll have a look at the wreckage, I didn't have time before but I doubt there will be much remaining of the bomb, the best chance will be some sort of transmitter."
Susska then speaks into her comlink once more, "And asssist the Duros employee of Klebb in any way you can. Susska out."

Kavtan continued with his thought.

"...but if there was one it was probably held by the arcona that fled, Tamir Slade and his cronies killed him and carted him off through. You know, The Union, it would be best if they could of let me search him but they didn't extend that hospitality to myself and the other Jedi."
Susska hisses, her face contorting into a look of anger. "Sssslade. He is sssslime," she nearly spits. "The Union has no businesss enforcing security anywhere near here. This is Guild territory."

Susska sighs, then composes herself once more. "I apologize," she says. "you mussst understand that not a week ago my forces were locked in mortal combat with those of Ssslade."

Meanwhile, the two Guild lackies are scouting around the bar, their blaster rifles still at the ready. They appear to be looking for anything and anyone suspicious (beyond the tied-up Arcona, of course). Outside, Guild forces have begun combing over the wreckage of the ship, separating the debris into various piles. A few Guild members have come inside and are interviewing Klebb. It seems as though all the patrons who might have been at the bar just to have a drink have left.

Susska then addresses Si-Di.

"Listen, Jedi," she says. "I appreciate your position. However, it is not in your authority to take custody of a prisoner. We are not under Republic jurisdiction, and Administrator Namor has nothing to do with security. That is the job of the respective mining organizations on their territory. Now I must insist that I take custody of this man, as he is suspected of committing a crime on Guild territory. I assure you, you will have access to him whenever you like, but he must be kept in a Guild holding cell."

Susska scratches her head, looking about the cantina - it's in disarray with all the commotion. She then looks to the Arcona, who is completely silent.

"And besides, my Jedi friend," Susska continues, "I doubt very much that thiss one has anything to say."

Kavtan Cleentor

Kavtan knew that he had to conceal his emotions, he did this as best he could but all the same he couldn't stop a small, sly smile play across his face as he heard Susska's reaction and to hear he confirm what he thought he already knew, and help him formulate an idea about the culprits further. The Union were enforcing in Guild territory and they had appeared at the precise right time to assassinate the prime suspect, yes they had a good excuse but he was endlessly suspicious of The Union, thanks to a bounty hunter tell him one of them had put credits on his head, the only reassuring words he heard in that conversation was 'but they didn't pay enough.'

He thanked Susska for letting him examine the craft and made his way out onto the landing strip, it was bad, there wasn't much left and there were piles of debris all over the place. No sooner was he outside than he ran over to the craft wreckage and started and extremely thorough search of the wreckage insisting that he isn't disturbed and that anything that was removed from the ship be replaced in the exact same place as it was picked up.

OOC:- Taking 20 on search checks, if he finds nothing on the ship wreckage then he'll move onto the debris piles.

Insistence...

Listen, Jedi," Susska says.

"And besides, my Jedi friend," Susska continues, "I doubt very much that thiss one has anything to say."

Si-Di was not so easily dismissed; she would have her way in this investigation and she was prepared to argue her point with the Security Chief though in a calm and intelligent manner.

“I am afraid that will not do, Captain.” Si-Di replies with a slight shake of her head, “as I said, I captured this prisoner and until I deem my questioning of him complete I will not release him into your custody.”

“After what I heard from Kavtan here,” she turns to give the Duros a slightly smile and nod for his assistance, “I don’t trust anyone involved in this dispute and that includes Mining Guild Security.”

“Now,” she continues firmly drawing herself up to her full height of just under 2 meters, “you can insist all you want but think about this for a moment. With the death of my Master, I am now the lawful representative sent here by the Republic and the Jedi Order to mediate negotiations between the Mining and the Union Guilds. I doubt that the Republic Council will look kindly upon your impedance of my investigation into the death of a Jedi Master. If you insist upon taking the prisoner from me, I will have to report your lack of cooperation to my superiors and the circumstances leading to Master Allum’s death. I am sure that there will be no further mediation by any representative of the Republic”

Si-Di looked the Trandoshan Female officer squarely in the eyes showing her full resolve and determination.

“If your petty squabbles are not resolved soon,” the Jedi continued, “there will be further fighting amongst the two guilds and eventually it will spread to all corners of Dathu. Mining operations will cease and only war and bloodshed will reign. Many will die needless deaths. But no help will come from the Republic all because you could not cooperate and allow me to question this Arcona before you take him into custody.”

She raised and eyebrow questioningly as she finished and stood there oozing confidence and determination. She had learned much from Master Allum and she intended to try her hardest to live up to the expectations he had for her. She would not disgrace his memory and teachings by backing down when she knew she was in the right.

“So?” Si-Di concluded, “do I have ‘permission’ to continue questioning my prisoner or should I get on the next transport back to Coruscant to make my report?”

This, that and the other...

Whatever kind of explosive it was, it was small, efficient, and packed a ton of firepower...Kavtan can't find any remnants of a bomb or even a transmitter. And the fact that no transmitter was found on the person of either of the Arcona (though, admittedly, one was not inspected thoroughly) is leaving our heroes with little to go on...

Additionally, there is no much really left of the Jedi Master; as Kavtan picks through the wreckage, he finds occasioanlly what might seem to be a small piece of flesh, or a charred article of clothing, but considering that there were civilians also standing near the blast who were killed, it doesn't seem possible to determine what...pieces that Kavtan finds are part of Master Zen Allum and what parts aren't. And even if he could, since Master Allum was standing right in the epicenter of the blast, it doesn't seem likely that he'll find much. However, as the Jedi ritual is to burn their dead, perhaps this is the best burial one could hope for for Master Allum...

(Kavtan doesn't find the remains of a bomb that he can recognize. The explosion was small, but powerful and obliterated most everything that was enveloped in it, at least to the point of being beyond recognition. There's not much but charred, blackened, twisted metal here, and nothing really to go on...)

Meanwhile, inside the cantina...
“I am afraid that will not do, Captain.” Si-Di replies with a slight shake of her head, “as I said, I captured this prisoner and until I deem my questioning of him complete I will not release him into your custody. After what I heard from Kavtan here, I don’t trust anyone involved in this dispute and that includes Mining Guild Security.”

Susska snarls as the Jedi speaks, her face contorting into a monstrous expression that only a Trandoshan could muster, but she remains silent, containing herself, as Si-Di continues.

“So?” Si-Di concluded, “do I have ‘permission’ to continue questioning my prisoner or should I get on the next transport back to Coruscant to make my report?”

Susska chuckles. "You drive a hard bargain Jedi..." she says. "But I don't think you understand me. It doesn't matter who the Republic trustsss or whether or not you think I'm qualified to interrogate the prisoner. I'm under ordersss to handle sssecurity here; it's not up to me whether or not I release this man into your custody. If I did so, I could be disssciplined by my Guild. So I'm afraid I cannot give the prisoner to you."

"Now," she continues, "As I said, you will have full accessss to the prisoner, after we book him in. I cannot do any better than that. As to whether or not you continue your negotiationsss...well, personally, I agree with you. The negotiations should go on, and I tire of bloodshed. But my hands are tied. You must understand this. Please do not fight usss."

Two more Guild members, both armed with blaster rifles enter the cantina, and Susska signals to them. They begin to advance on Si-Di and the captured Arcona, who has remained silent. Susska gestures towards the Arcona, the two Guild members move to take the prisoner from Si-Di.

(You succeeded in convincing Susska that your claims were genuine; unfortunately, while she believes you would get on a transport out of Dathu and leave and does find this outcome to be unfortunate, the bureaucracy for which she works does not allow her to make such decisions.)

Meanwhile, 'Rok' begins edging towards the doorway, when he stopped by one of the Guild members with a blaster rifle.

"Whatdya think yer doin'?" he says, pointing the blaster rifle straight at 'Rok'. "Where do you have to be in such a hurry?"

Outside the cantina...
As Ninkanna nears the door of the cantina, walking onto the landing pad, she has still heard no word from Master Arkana...there doesn't even seem to be much of a signal on the other side of the comlink. As she approaches, she can see much of the scene going on inside of the cantina through the window...

Time To Heal

Oh, good, there it is. Ninkanna thinks as she nears the cantina, I was worried I had gotten lost there for a moment.
The other security peoples in the cantina is not a welcome sight to Ninkanna... doubtless, if she went in right now, her headache would only return if they addressed her as well. Wanting some peace and quiet, Ninkanna walks up to her starfighter, and sits in the cockpit, without turning anything on.

Ninkanna finds it a bit comforting with the familiarity of the controls and design of the cockpit. She breathes deeply, wincing slightly at the pain in her side. Well, at least the blast only seemed to be a slight singe to her skin and fur; it could've been far worse. Her fatigued muscles complain, and she can feel herself grow a bit weary. Ninkanna breathes in once more, and closes her eyes.

There they are. The waves of the Force, flowing all through the space that is and isn't there, from and to beyond eternity. Ninkanna pushes into the mist, forming another wave to form, but this one contained within the midst of her body. She concentrates, making it resonate with a frequency that can only be described as an essense of growth and comfort. With the fullness of the standing wave Ninkanna's body responds, fatigue and weariness draining from her body as strength flows from the origin of the wave. Ninkanna opens her eyes, feeling better.

Kavtan Cleentor

It was slow work, picking through the remanence of that craft. It was a strong blast, placed by an expert, and it was efficient, must have been small, but then it must have been powerful, it had decimated the ship and there was little hope of finding any remains.

I was turning over pieces of scrap and debris when he found the first bit, it was tiny and stinked of charred meat, he gingerly picked it up between he thumb and forefinger and held it close to his eyes. That was when he recognized what it must be - he reallied, dropping it immediately and taking a few steps back. It was horrific, he'd seen bomb and blaster damage and the odd spot of blood on a speeder but nothing could prepare him for this. Then he realised, he's seen this, just before he's seen an attack that could cause this kind of damage, he had used the lethal setting as well, he'd never done that.

He returned to the pile, avoiding looking at the charred flesh as much as he could like it was some morose thing, and to him it was. In his picking of the other piles he found more and more, not enough to test or assemble anything recognizable.

He could find nothing, of the bomb, there was little hope but there still was and that was why he wasn't satisfied to leave them. During his searching he got ever more tired as it dawned no him how tired he was, and how his chest hurt, he needed to sit down, he went to a seat at the edge of the landing strip and tried to have a doze.

His doze didn't last long, he just couldn't, too much had happened today, he went to his locker and took out his data pad. He sat back down and began summarizing the days events so far.

The shoot the jedi trick...

"Whatdya think yer doin'? Where do you have to be in such a hurry?"
Lysander froze in his tracks, suddenly aware of the blaster rifle pointed directed at his back. This was exactly the position he did not want to find himself in. Perhaps today wasn't such a good day at all. He should have just stayed home.

Lysander paused and licked his lips for a second before turning to face the security guard.

"I, er, assumed you were done with this here so I was going to be on my way..." He tried to read the guard's face, trying to see if he'd actually try to shoot him, but he could get nothing. That probably wasn't a good sign.

"...but I can see you clearly have more to do so I'll just...walk over here?" he said, gesturing toward the jedi. He moved slowly, walking off toward Si-Di looking about for a way out of this situation. His eyes locked on the hole threw which the arcona had escaped, but only for a second, trying not to alert ther others in the room to the plan forming in his mind.

He stepped slowly behind Si-Di, enough so one his right hand would be obscured behind the the jedi's robes. The jedi had no reason to distrust him right now, he didn't even know his real name, so hopefully he'd not do anything stupid. If he was going to make a run for it he'd need a distraction. Hopefully the jedi wouldn't mind providing some of that.

His hand drifted to the blaster at his side, and he leaned slightly closer to Si-Di.

"I'll catch up with you later. I just need to make myself scarce right now." he whispered.

Lysander moved his blaster to the back of the jedi, and in the same movement swung his arm out pointing behind the security team.

"THERE'S THE OTHER ONE!" he yelled at the best of his ability, and at the same time fired his stun into the back of the jedi. Hopefully the combined effect of the distracting scream and point and the gun going off would sow enough confusion for him to make a hasty exit from this situation.

Without thinking Lysander made a dive for the hole where the Arcona had escaped earlier.

Today was definately not a great day.

(OOC: Bluff check, look behind you. Bam shoot stun and RUN LIKE A SCARED LITTLE GIRL!)

Shot in the back... what a way to go...

Si-DI was not pleased at the Security Chief’s insistence that they would take custody of her prisoner and she was about to protest further and she even stepped in front of the two security guards who Susska had gestured towards the Arcona. She stood right in front of the guards, blocking their path and rested her hands on her utility belt near her light sabers but not touching them. She looked at them sternly not taking her gaze away and was opening her mouth to speak when…..

’Rok’ stepped slowly behind Si-Di, enough so one his right hand would be obscured behind the the jedi's robes.

Si-Di paused and turned her head slightly to the right, not enough to look back at ‘Rok’ but just enough to turn an ear to him; her gaze still directed on the two guards right in front of her. She wondered what the man was going to do and why she felt like trusting him when she hardly knew him. Yet their seemed to be something about this man, he had helped them when the Arcona had attacked and as she heard the faint sound of his blaster leaving his holster, she remembered that he had used stun before. She hoped she was not making a fatal mistake in trusting this man further.

“THERE'S THE OTHER ONE!" ‘Rok’ yelled and Si-Di leaned slightly towards the two guards there and braced herself for the blast she knew was coming. Her intention was that she would throw up her arms and leap slightly forward just as the stun bolt hit her; her aim was to cause her long body to crash into the two guards right in front of her and to take them down with her. Even if the stun bolt didn’t render her completely unconscious she would let the weight of her nearly 2 meter frame drag the two guards down to the floor.

Even as she did this, she hoped she had made the right decision in trusting this person and that her actions would help him in what ever he had planned; no doubt an escape attempt. Again she wondered why was she helping him? Maybe because he had not hesitated to help them earlier.

The Shoot The Jedi Trick

"THERE'S THE OTHER ONE!"

"Wuh?" one of the security guards blurts out, turning to look just as Lysander points at 'something' behind him. As he turns to look, his companions do so also, and Susska hesitantly takes her eyes off of the Jedi, the Arcona and the conman, just to be sure. As they all look, they see of course, nothing behind them.

But it's too, late, as 'Rok's legendary 'Shoot The Jedi Trick' is already in action.

Si-Di leaned slightly towards the two guards there and braced herself for the blast she knew was coming.
Finally, the blast went off and Si-Di felt the impact of the blaster on stun ripple through her as she flew forward. Just as the security forces were turning back to Si-Di and Lysander, the Jedi was already tumbling forwards at them, and barrelled into the two guards, knocking them off of their feet. Lysander dove for the quickest exit available to him - the hole in the wall.

There was confusion, shouting and screams in the cantina. Klebb was yelling at the top of his lungs about something, and people were hurring out of the cantina as fast as possible. In the crowd, various voices and shouts can be heard...

"What happened?"

"That guy shot a Jedi!"

"What in Bogden is going on?"

As 'Rok' dives for the exit, Susska draws a blaster pistol and takes aim at the escapee. She fires once, but the blaster bolt barely misses Lysander, grazing the side of the wall. However, it takes a chunk out of the cantina; she has set her blaster on lethal. She turns to the two guards standing near the door.

"Follow him, you idiotsss!"

The two guards nod and make haste out the door, but Lysander has a decent head start on them.

"Get up...Get up!" she shouts, lifting Si-Di's limp form from the two henchmen under her command, then dropping her next to the wall. She then pulls the men to their feet, snarling all the while. "You idiotsss. You have gunsss on him and he shoots a Jedi right in front of you! And throwss her into you. What am I paying you for?!"

Susska shakes her head, then glances towards the stunned Jedi leaning against the wall.

"Then again..." Susska says, a pensive look on her reptillian face. Her suddenly face contorts into a toothy grin. "You two, take the prisssoner."

The two henchmen nod and approach the captured Arcona, who is still in a relative daze. They lift him up by each arm and begin to drag him out of the cantina. Susska walks over to Si-Di, who is still almost completely stunned by the blast. She kneels down next to her helpless form, smiling.

"Sssorry, Jedi," she says, though her voice is not at all apologetic. "The prisssoner is mine."

She pats Si-Di on the shoulder, then rises. With haste, she and the other two guards make their way out of the cantina, though Si-Di can't tell where they're heading since...well, she can't turn her head.

---

Meanwhile, Lysander has made it onto the main street running through Dom-Rhett spaceport, and the two guards are in hot pursuit, but still on the landing pad as of now. However, after about half a minute of running, Lysander cannot hear footsteps behind him. A quick glance behind reveals - no one?

The bright red and gold of Guild security usually stands out like a sore thumb in the dull beiges and browns worn by the miners and other inhabitants of Dom-Rhett. But the Guild security men were nowhere in sight. And the Guild didn't exactly have a reputation for employing henchmen with a knack for sneaking about or hiding themselves.

In the throng of pedestrians and motorists about the main street running through Dom-Rhett, Lysander Orda is lost to his pursuers.

---

On the landing pad, in her starfighter Ninkanna attempts to let the Force heal her, the waves of that ancient energy field washing over her...

However, as she opens her eyes, what she sees is Guild security, marching off the landing pad, to a waiting speeder. Dragging a stunned Arcona in tow, they throw him into the back of the speeder, which is marked "Mining Guild Security". They start the speeder up, and in no time at all, they've disappeared behind one of many of the steel buildings lining the main street of Dom-Rhett...

((OOC: Here's the rundown. Lysander succeeded in his bluff check (of course!), and then shot the Jedi. Since Si-Di is willingly being stunned, I didn't roll for a save; she has been stunned for 2 rounds. The guards failed to evade Si-Di tumbling onto them, and Lysander made an expert escape - Susska made an attack on him, but missed. Meanwhile, one element of the shoot the jedi trick that may have been overlooked - Si-Di is now stunned, and Susska has taken the prisoner.

Ninkanna has healed herself by 7 Vitality points.

I'm assuming that Kavtan is still resting up. ))

Yay! They're Gone!

Ninkanna watches the security people vanish into the city, glad that she doesn't have to deal with them now. She feels certain that the end result, of them taking the Arcona into their custody, would've been the same anyway.

Ninkanna exits her starfighter's cockpit, heading into the cantina. Seeing Si-Di stricken against the wall, Ninkanna runs over, and tries to help her recover quicker.

When Si-Di can move again, Ninkanna breathes a sigh of relief and asks a slew of questions, "Are you OK? What happened here? Did those people shoot you? Did that Arcona prove useful or anything? Where's the others?"

Ninkanna takes in a deep breath, "Sorry, I get a bit carried away sometimes... but really... what happened?"

Notes

Sitting on the bench was hard, yet he was too deep in his diary to notice it. He was carefully accessing precise memories and details of what happened that he had used his subconscious to remember, any distraction now could cost him all of them. Not that he hadn't done it before, he had sat on this very bench not a week ago when a small fire had started on the landing strip, Klebb knew better then to distract him.

So deep was his trance like state that he did not, could not, see the arcona, the last suspect being loaded onto a speeder, or notice the gun shot in the cantina. His notes were very important to him, back at home he had a collection of cards, all in order, that cataloged his life since he started this eccentric behavior, it contained schematics of craft he had repaired, computer designs, a few security device designed, although these were probably common knowledge to most.

Everything he had ever done or seen or heard was recorded, it took about half an hour to do but not at one time if need be, whats more he could find anything thing he had done of the schematics for anything he had every worked on in is cards, it would take him a wile to find it, but he could.

There is no ignorance.. there is knowledge.

Si-Di comes out of it after a few moments, shaking her head as she very slowly gets to her feet. Laying a hand on Ninkanna’s shoulder, she steadies herself a minute and answers the other Jedi’s question.

“Well.. the man called Rok stunned me in the back so he could make his escape from the Guild security people. Then they took the prisoner while I was stunned.”

Her vision no longer reeling, she stood on her own and nodded to Ninkanna, “Thank you, I will be fine now. Do not worry, I allowed Rok to shoot me for two reasons, one to allow him to escape for whatever reasons he felt that he must.

Si-Di smiled slightly, “and two, I figured that the Security head would take advantage of the situation while I was out. I knew I wasn’t going to win the argument with the Trandoshan, so I used this opportunity to create what we like to refer to as an ‘Incident’. Besides I don’t think I was going to get much information from that Arcona without torture and that is something I can not do.”

Looking about the place, she nodded to the outside landing area, “I would like to check with Kavtan about his investigation. I will bring up the ‘Incident’ later when we dine with the Administrator Namor.” She headed out to the landing area, seeking Kavtan so she could ask him about what he had found, and if there were any remains of Master Allum, though she highly doubted it since he had been standing at the heart of the explosion. However, she wanted to search for his light saber, or make sure it was destroyed in the blast; it wouldn’t do for it to be found by someone unskilled at it use.
