today it is!

Character roster posted here (check the second post of this thread).

The party has known each other, and traveling with one another, for at least the past three months or so. you have shared an adventure or two, and know one another (at least on a superficial basis).

Each of you have various reasons that put you in southern Ertain, where our adventure begins, but for now, your paths appear to lie together.

a request

I'm a nitpicky jerk. That being said...

Please do not use multiple font colors in your posts. I like a consistent look and feel. If you want to post inner thoughts and wish to italicize them, feel free to do so by using italics like so.

You are free to post. If you have questions, post them here, or PM me.

I'm glad to be running!

some FYI

Isaac is quite familiar with this village. He grew up no more than two hours from here, and rose from peasant boy to constable of that town. He has family here, and has visited on more than one occasion. This is why he is so involved in the directions to the destination.

Oh yeah...

Also, Shianna's speech in my post is in Apanonese... so if you don't have that language, you can't understand it.

I hope it's alright, although perhaps a bit on the short side...?

post is fine

Post is fine!

I am assuming that everyone is speaking Apanonese, as all of you know it. A few of you speak another tongue, as well, but it wouldn't make sense for you to speak it in the party, since others won't understand you.

Neri: speaks Apanonese fluently (Drannese is first language).

Volkmar: speaks Apanonese well enough (Khordaldrum is first language). Probably has the worst grasp of the language in the party

Aryan: speaks Apanonese fluently (Chindari is first langauge, but has an Ertainian father)

All other speak Apanonese as a first langauge. Syana might understand a few snippets of various other tongues, but aside from that, the ones not mentioned above ONLY speak Apanonese.

bold mages...

I love the spunk, emy. Just remember - mages with no meatshields often have very short adventuring careers.

Just saying.

She's a child!

In case you haven't realized, Aryan is not mature yet. SHE'S 17 DADDY! Plus her personality is cruel, cocky, selfish, all absorbent, and disturbed.

Yeah..................

Oh I forgot!

Aryan has a familiar: A tiny black cat with an orange eye and a green eye. Has a white striped from her forehead to her chin. Named: Kiar

Just noticed

That Isaac is still shown with his two short swords. The inability to obtain both ambidexterity and two-weapon fighting style caused me to change that to a single two-handed sword.

I evidently forgot to send the change, but I believe I did inform the DM of it (one big sword instead of two little ones ...)

Post inwork and upcoming ...

Whoops!

You are right. I have him with the big sword on my version of your character sheet, but I copied and pasted the description from a PM you'd sent to me.

I shall fix.

actions...

I have three of you pressing on to investigate, two of you hanging back (and wanting to leave), and one with no actions yet.

If the hangers-back change their minds, let me know either here or via an in-game post. Otherwise, I'll assume that only those who actually have stated that they are approaching the other travelers are doing so.

...

Is the forest that surrounds the trail thick, or quite light?

I was just thinking that it might be tricky to lead a horse through a forest that is overly thick, and also very tough to navigate too in the fog/mist.

forest

The forest is not overly thick here around the trail. I'd guess that it would be tricky to bring a horse through in anything but a walk, however, due to the dark and mist.

equipment

I'm down to the nitty-gritty, folks. If you did not provide me with equipment, you might want to correct that oversight.

I will assign you the basics, but if you don't specify otherwise now, you don't have it - there will be no retroactively equipping your character.
