"Our histories speak little of this. Many believe that an alliance has not been since before the Ilythiiri became the drow. Yet we must remember we are born as much of the mystery of Sehanine as the radiance of Corellon. Who is to say what has been forgotten or held in secret?"
"We have been given a great opportunity to serve The People."
when you said "who seemed now to be moving to intercept them," I just wanted to clarify that Tenacity simply stopped where she was and prepared to wheel her horse across Xavier's path, should he make a beeline for his sister, all of which is unknown to her, of course. She hasn't actually moved yet.

"Our goals are more the same than you realize. Breaking the power of Lolth would perhaps be the greatest service to The People. Only after the drow are broken free of Lolth's bondage can elves both dark and light repair the damages of a war that has spanned across the ages. It may well be that the salvation of all The Peoples lies together."
Chiron was the last to leave the Nightshade and is following the group somewhere between 10- an 15 feet back.
"As Chiron brushed passed..." would be impossible under those conditions.
My understanding of everyone's position is that Tenacity and Ms. Von Richter are somewhere ahead of us (unknown distance), and Satya is the closest to them. Just behind Satya are Xavier, Lacey, and Selumiel, and then farther back is Chiron. Does that seem accurate?
I sort of pictured the same thing, Chiron. The party is on one side of a large crossroads as Tenacity and Camille are at the other corner, both groups are turning down the same road toward the governor's.
This position has the benefit of setting everyone in a spot, right before turning, of looking right across the street at the other group. I didn't want to take too many liberties with positioning people and therefore wasn't too specific in my post, but am also trying to be gentle with making things up about the layout of the city itself.
I liked gboy's initial response to Camille, though, and wanted a place for it to happen. I think we would have just ended up at the governor's at slightly different times, otherwise.
