I hope Lady Jessie is VERY Good. By the map hers and Bareel's charge puts them in the way for Ulthok to use his bow easily. I'd hoped to get a couple arrows in at least one of the Orcs to slow it down.
Maybe a cross shot if one break through toward Aliya.
Well he may still be able to draw down on Orc 4 as Jessie goes after Orc 2.
Starting to look like an old fashion toe to toe. Hard to get "Back Stab" bonus when you're facing your enemy.

Besides if I sing just the right tune might get Barreel to bulldoze the way for us. Need a cleric to put down the mace and wield a Dwarven Berserker. Oh and some one send a memo to the Dragon Queen, we are come for him.
We have to remember that the hall is 30 feet across and Tann's map has it looking much more narrow. Those red dots to more scale would only be be about half that size or less. The Orcs are large but only about 3 foot wide across the shoulders. Humans are about 2 foot across the shoulders, Dwarvs and Halflings are smaller yet. So with 30 feet to fill the Orcs could fight 5 across with no trouble.
I'd think that SilenOne as a "Battle Cleric" would be getting her crossbow ready like, Ulthok, it's pretty deadly and could slow an Orc for the melee fighter to finish off. and if they break through her Mace does MIGHTY damage to evil characters.
BTW, are the Orcs concidered "Large" for the attack bonuses?

Well as Amara is now, she is designed as a Battle Cleric, just look at her weapons. However I think we will need to recreate her to help fit Silent's vision of her as a last resort combatant. I will look at the sub-classes of Cleric and try and find a kit that fits this. Or if anyone has an idea or knows of a kit from another fantasy AD&D type game let me know and her and I can maybe modify it to match.
Well as for the test though it's not super hard it's not super easy. Put it this way Sadaar I missed 1 question and ended up losing 6 points and you need a 75 or better to pass. However the test is 50 questions and not all of them are counted in the scoring as some are the same question asked a different way. The thing is you have to listen in class the whole time as there are 4 trick questions on the test, 3 are worth 6 points and 1 is worth 7 points. I missed a 6 point question dealing with the legal age one has to be to get a CHL. Though I put the right age down per the LAW I got it wrong per the test. The trick here is that it’s a state test and though the age has recently been changed to 21 the old age per the test is 18 and it has not been changed on the TEST. So marking 21 like I did was wrong but right as the test was scored with 18 being correct. This change was discussed but I don’t remember Y I did not remember. Two people failed the written and were sent home before the range test as they were thus ineligible to take it..........
I saw and read your post and I have to tell you as far as I can see it has nothing to do with the combat your in.
Your posting about events that happened 3 weeks ago and have no bearing on what Rayne is doing in this combat. Please change your post before tonight as to what Rayne is doing to help the party in this fight.

So we have 5 Orcs down, Jessie toe to toe with #5 and Barreel going after #8. That leave #7 still standing too.
Ulthok has a clear shot at #7 to keep both 7 & 8 from attacking Barreel. Cor and Aliya can finish off the ones on the ground and #7.
I think too we need to check room 1. Valene can check the door for traps and then open it. Rayne, Sirene and Amara can look in ready to attack any inside. Ulthok can come back to help next round. We don't want anything coming out to attack us from rear.
Note: Magic Missiles didn't do much damage. Could show an issues with magic attacks. Although magic enhanced weapons seemed to work.
Ody where do you get 5 Orcs dead? Orc's #2 and #6 are dead and #4 is badly hurt but the ones drawn on the map are the ones still up and kicking and get attacks this next round good Sir. As they die or you do I will remove that dot from future maps.
I know, I know it's hard being a dot no respect right.
For right now do not consider Amara or Silent in any combat tactics. At this time we are discussing a total rebuild of her character and to base a strategy based on her being a Cleric would be a mistake.
Once her and I have finished it I will post it and everyone can go from there.
