Suggestions anyone?

I'll try to get spells picked by tonight. I'm about 4 hours or so away from any of my books.

***Ok, I know this is going to sound silly, but honestly it just hasn't mattered. As I started to look at spells for Talca I realized that I wasn't even sure what system Trilogy uses. So, uhm, this game I've been playing for a couple of years . . . what system is it?

Spell Link....

I had a link that I used to take me to a site that listed all the 2nd Ed wizard and priest spells.

My system crashed and I lost the bookmark to the site.

If any of you still have an email or PM from me with that link would you please send it back to me?

Spells for Talca

1st level spells:
Cure Light Wounds
Protection from evil
Light

2nd level spells
Find traps
Silence 15' Radius

3rd level
Call Lightning

For those who are curious - I just used the 2.0 Player's handbook, so nothing fancy. I tried to get spells that might offer some abilities more powerful spell casters might not have already covered. (silence, traps, a protection spell) and then just added a touch of healing and an offensive spell in case his machetes and arrows don't seem to be doing the trick. I am very open to whatever others suggest. I will be posting for him shortly - a simple, "get a move on" sort of post.

Sorry for no post Sunday

Ok was late getting home Sunday night from Hooters. (Cowboys Game)

I had to catch up on updating all your spells, on my NFL game, and post in Rocinante.

However as that is now all taken care of I will have a post up 2 morrow night. Good posting by everyone both for your own characters and for those of you that are currently NPCing a second character right now

Thanks for your understanding.

Just to let you know

Everyone only took a quarter damage thanks to saving throws and your spell of Endure. I'll add all damage tomorrow.

The joker as a beholder?

Well, that looks like fun.

Ok, so two questions basedon the post already up.

1. What does wall of force do and does it prevent Lothor from hitting the thing?
2. Normal beholders have a central eye that simply dispels all magic? If this thing does as well, wouldn't that disrupt the wall of force?

Tann - maybe I missed it, but how far away is this thing?

@Nomad

Say roughly 35 feet away in a 15 feet wide hallway. Not a lot of maneuvering space.

Also Damage has been posted on the character thread.

Question...........

Is the beholder facing us? If it is then wouldn't it's own anti-magic ray stop the cold spell? Or are you saying the heads don't cast magic but make the cold a different way?

The central eye produces an anti-magic ray with a 140-yard range, which covers a 90 degree arc before the creature. No magic (including the effects of the other eyes) will function within that area. Spells cast in or passing through that zone cease to function.
I haven't read anywhere that the anti-magic ray isn't always active.

Some Answers

As to the Anti-Magic ray to me its stated that its a ray not active protection. If it was always on, what would be the point of using it's eyes to attack at all.

Also as I posted on this past Wednesday my next post will be next Sunday the 24th. Should give everyone enough time to figure out what actions your character will be taking.
