Better yet, Aliira will sacrifice him! How does that sound?

If you try it....I will light my self on fire and run at you naked with my big sword. It seems to work so i'd think twice if I were you. =D

can't stop laughing at that one

Seriously, though, it's fine if you're not going to be able to make it to the game. Thanks for letting me know in advance rather than just not turning up on the night.

I'd prefer not to NPC you, since then you'd run the risk of your character dying while under my control. If you're happy to take the chance, though, then go for it!

You can NPC him. I dont mind. He's not going to miss out on this important demon hunt. I guess he can stay with the Bishop and protect him. Or help him fight. But keeping in this mind set will keep him alive too; "Backing out of a fight you know you will lose keeps you alive to help fight for Pelor and all that is good another day" Suffice to say if worse comes to worse make him try an back out of the fight and let some NPC take the brunt =P

Okay then...

will do.

Here's fair warning that there's a chance your character might die while out there though.

Not that I'll be trying to kill him or anything...

Not gonna make it...

Hey all,

Don't think I'm gonna make it tonight either. I've come down with a pretty nasty head cold so my brain's a bit fuzzy. And I need to get to bed early tonight because I've got a convention for work I'm at bright and sunny tomorrow.

Sorry.

Ayrn

Thank you for a wonderful game...

And thank you for letting me roleplay the fact that after everyone else is said and done.. Emmy is still knee deep in fallen templars and pelorites while trying to fix the destruction caused while Pining for Aliira into the humid night air...

Thoughts

Thanks again to everyone who played… I’m just glad that you enjoyed it!

An epilogue will follow shortly (I’ve written about half of it up already).

Also been thinking a little more about pacing… so far I’ve tried to take some time to set the mood and give everyone the chance to get IC at the beginning of each session. That’s probably been one of the reasons we’ve rarely managed to get through more than 4 encounters each night. Unless anyone objects I’d like to try to get the ball rolling a bit faster next time round. So your first encounters should happen pretty quickly after the game starts.

Works for me..

I'm happy with getting the ball rolling...

On a side note, I've the beginnings of a new character (though I'l not be trying to get Emmy killed. I was thinking of creating his estranged son, a half elf perhaps, who fell away from grace (at least in the priethood sense) in anger for his Father when his mother (possibly elvish) dies of illness while Emmerus was away at war. (SHould Emmy die, the news might just reach his ears and bring him back around for some interesting roleplay opportunities.

Dagnabbit

Why does everyone always play elves?

Seriously, though, that sounds like a cool character concept. Would also make for some great RP when you meet the rest of the group.

sooo?

Was our mission successful so far? What happened? *presses for info* don't leave me out in the cold on this. I've had a stressful day. Got called about taking a shift and couldn't do it because I had a prior commitment that they knew about but still asked me to take a shift. And they booked me for tomorrow, so will only be on in the morning and again late at night if I'm not entirely exhausted.
