I Stand Alone

On this field of battle,
I stand alone,
On the wings of my prayer,
Fly your spirits home.

Upon the sun rising,
With friends I held true,
Comrades and Captains,
And warriors I knew,

Now upon the evening,
I stand alone,
On the wings of my prayer,
Fly your spirits home,

My left arm is shattered,
It will never be whole,
Heart holds your memories,
Your strength is my soul.

Although a few still live,
I stand alone,
On the wings of my prayer,
Fly your spirits home.

The battle is over now,
And so is the war,
Your sacrifice wasn't lost
See the flag still soars,

I honour my brothers,
No, I'm not alone,
On the wings of my prayer,
Fly your spirits home.

On the wings of my prayer,
Fly your spirits home.
