Okay. So it looks like a lot of you are asking about dialogue, plot, ect. And that's fully understandable. However, I think there's something I havn't told yall about this. That would be the fact that I'm the only person involved in this thing whatsoever. Seriously. If I could hire more people, I would. But I can't. So right now you're stuck with my little experimental peice. But if the opportunity ever comes up to do something bigger, I'll be sure to jump on it. But I guess for now you'll have to make do and judge my stuff on its own merrits. Sorry, guys.

Yeah, calm down, younger people. We here at the Inn like our peace and quiet, too, from time to time. We're not all as young as you kids anymore.

Yeah, actually, I have trips planned to both Edinburgh and Transylvania in the near future, and I'll see what I can do in terms of filming if interest here is high enough.

Subject: My two cents

I think that ultimately, its going to fall through. Not because of public opinion or anything, but because it's going to be near impossible to police without resorting to, as Ryst put it, a police state. Now I don't know the specifics or the legal mumbo-jumbo, but in the end I don't think it's going to have too great an impact.

Also, this wasn't filmed with a video camera. All I used here were to photo-taking digital cameras on video mode. No camera man, either. go figure.

Got a couple of requests for your next project, if its not too much trouble. I just realized it might be a really cool idea to try writing a song about this here inn. You know, Audalis, The members, Fred, ect...
Also, might I be so bold as to request a take or two on christmas carols? After all, its coming up on that time of year.
If it's too much trouble, don't worry about it. But I figured I'd just throw it out there and see what happens.

Okay. So lately I've been experimenting, bumming around, ect, with the crazy new meduim of film. Nothing too complex (just a couple of digital cameras and Windows Movie Maker), but it keeps me busy. Anyway, a few people have commented that these aren't entirely bad. So I figured I'd open it up to a more critical audience here and see how I stack up against the layman. Remember, don't be afraid to be critical. This is the internets, after all.

This first one was taken when I was in the Scottish Highlands. Nothing special. This is the first time I'd tried this, so its not really too sophisticated in terms of anything, really.

The next one was done just in and around the town I'm currently living in. Pretty much the same as the first in terms of complexity, but I was also comparing the resolutions between the two cameras I was using. Also kinda wanted to try some third person shots.

This last one was done while I was operating on little to no sleep and in the preliminary stages of a nasty fever. So if I look like a raving lunatic, blame it on me being delerious. Here I wanted to try editing something that called for a faster pace than the other two, just to see how I'd do. Also, I wanted to jump around a parking garage at five in the morning, but hey. Whatcha gonna do?

On a final note. I wasn't using an actual video camera here. These were shot with nothing but photo-taking digitals.
So? does it pass the RDI test? Lets get some opinions a-flyin'.

Subject: Something I gotta get off my chest

Hey guys. Just something I've been pondering for a while that I want a second opinion on. Lemme ask you something here. What was the last major blockbuster made that wasn't a sequel, prequel, remake or adaptation? It's not even that I'm entirely against it. I mean, Batman finally got a movie he deserved, and I can't exactly completely about the Lord of the Rings trilogy. But Die Hard 4? Was that really nessisary? I'm not even saying it was a bad movie. But did we really need another Die Hard? Honestly, the last major blockbuster with original content I can remember was The Matrix. And that came out in 1999. So by that rationalle, there hasn't been a successful, original Hollywood movie this mellenium. But, like I said, I'm not nessisarily bashing everything here. There's still a few things I'd like to see (Serenity 2, anyone?) But I'd also like to see a movie I hadn't already memorised by 6th grade.
Anyone else got thoughts on this?

Somewhere beyond the sea
somewhere waiting for me
my lover stands on golden sands
and watches the ships that go sailin

Somewhere beyond the sea
she's there watching for me
If I could fly like birds on high
then straight to her arms
I'd go sailin'

It's far beyond the stars
it's near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
my heart will lead me there soon

We'll meet beyond the shore
we'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be beyond the sea
and never again I'll go sailin'

I know beyond a doubt
my heart will lead me there soon
We'll meet (I know we'll meet) beyond the shore
We'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be beyond the sea
and never again I'll go sailin'

no more sailin'
so long sailin'
bye bye sailin'...
move on out captain

Okay, I'm listening to this song right now, and I'm noticing something weird. You know when you're listening to the radio, and the DJs' voices never seem to fit their faces when you actually find out what they look like? I think the same deal is kinda going on here. Seriously. Maybe its the mental image of ye olde Webmaster singing so soulfully that just blows a giant hole in my brain, but I can't see Olan with this voice. especially when he hits those high notes. Whoa.

P.S.
Can you spell Death Metal Cover?!!

Hey! I remember that place! Oh, the memories. They come a-bubblin' back. So here's a question. It says that there's three people in chat when I go there. But apperantly the chat room itself isn't stored on google's database or whatever. I'm not sure if other people are getting different numbers for how many folks are in chat, but is there any way of finding out who those people were at the exact time this record depicts, or is that a hiccup on the system, or what?
