Topic: The Infected World
Subject: The Infected World

Allison Burns stepped up to the podium and grabbed hold of the microphone. A giant crowd of men stood in front of her, waiting. She swallowed the lump in her throat and began the speech.

"The war between man and the war machines has gone on for too long. We as a human race must band together to free our homes and protect our population. Now this is possible, with the friendship with the Infected. Together, with their powers and our technology we shall destroy our enemy and reclaim our nations as one people united.

"May God help us in path to victory."

A large cheer came up from the crowd. Allison smiled and breathed a huge sigh of relief.

((OK, so this is how it all goes down. Military machines ran by computers go rogue and conquer the world. A resistance fights them with the help of Infected, who are humans who have gained superpowers. The computers want to destroy the Infected.))

Subject: Ahhh... Books....

I just love how more intriguing books on vampires and fantasy are being put in bookstores. And how my reading in a quiet bookstore is interrupted by the screams of tweenage girls lauding over a cardboard cutout of a sparkly vampire is the best experience in my life. And that Christopher Paolini is a genius! He made one of the most original books known!

Ahhh... Books these days...

Topic: Into the Hollows
Subject: Seluna

Seluna walked unhurriedly into the town, carrying herself with as much grace she could muster. Her stomach rumbled like a thunderstorm, and she surveyed the town for a place she could have a good meal and a good ale. A woman caught her eye, staring at some building. Seluna averted her gaze and saw the tavern, the same building the woman was looking at.

Lights came from the tavern, and the sound of music and drunken laughter poured out as a man dressed in seagoing clothes stepped out. Seluna sidestepped him, keeping her eyes down, and entered the tavern. She made her way through the crowd and to the bar. She sat down on one of the stools and rested her elbows on the surface.

"One ale, please, and a bowl of that stew," Seluna asked. As the barmaid poured her ale and stew, Seluna spun around and observed the place. The tavern was filled to the brim with drunken men.

She heard the clank of dishes being set on the counter and she turned around to see her food and beer. She dug into it, savoring every slurp of stew, every gulp of beer.

Subject: Hey, I'm new here

Hey old RPers, just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm new to online roleplaying (I did RPing on the RuneScape forums, but that was hardly RPing ) and I hope I'm not hopelessly lost here. So anyway, my point is, hi, and I welcome me to you guys.

But also, while I'm here, can someone tell me how the free form RPG forum works? Thanks a billion
