Topic: Oblivion based game
Subject: Oblivion based game

It just occurred to me, has anyone here heard of the game or books of the Elder Scrolls? If you haven't, it is probably the best RPG Video Game to date (in my opinion). It has a massive world where you can go virtually anywhere you see. You can break into people's houses and everyone has a schedule. Once someone dies, they're gone of good. So one could say it's the ultimate SIM Video Game.

Back to the topic, I would like to play a game based on Oblivion or Morrowind. However, I do not know how to GM and I don't know if anyone knows enough about it or has the time to GM for me. If someone could please teach me how then I would be so thankful and I would try to run an amazing D&D game. I'm not sure what kind of ruleset I'd base it off of, I might make a simple ruleset of my own that I'd post in this thread But I need to know how first.

So if someone could help me that'd be awesome!

My character is trained in martial arts a bit so maybe Jake should take the nightstick?

Subject: Specifics

I noticed you really want people to join your game. What you should do is post a character sheet.

From what I can tell you want this kind of layout:

Name:
Sex:
Age:
Race:
Personality:
Occupation:
Equipment:

This is the kind of layout I think you are asking for. Also, what do you mean by race? Do you mean asian, caucasian, hispanic, etc., or do you mean elf, dwarf, human etc. From what you've said I think you mean human races. Tell me if this is what you're looking for and I'll consider it.

Subject: As they were walking........

As they were walking Jake felt strange about the girl-thing. He was sad that she was just as lost and lonely as them and she could have just been confused. He wasn't sure. No matter how he felt though they needed to stay on the path. There was a mch much bigger concern at the moment.

A little while later they came across a wrecked car. They were suspicios of it, although they needn't be. Upon searching the car they found a shotgun and some shells. They also found a nightstick and a tire iron. There was a large bloodstain on the front seat and a splatter on the windshield.

"We should decide who gets what. We'll all need to defend ourselves whenever the need arises." Jake looked at the others. "There's another shotgun,"Jake glanced at Murph,"a nightstick, and a tire iron. Murph already has a gun, who else here knows how to use one? Hopefully none of those things will ever get close enough for us to use the other two."

Subject: Arriving

Faroak arrived outside the camp, being careful not to let anyone hear is approach. He slowly and quietly crawled up a nearby sloped tree. He prowled up it's brances and observed the camp. Cain and Bran were still ok but there was someone else he didn't know. Suddenly Cain sprang and grabbed the woman's neck, so Faroak figured she probably isn't trustworthy.

Faroak stalked to the branch closest to the woman, and watched them. Faroak reared up preparing to spring, wiggling his heiny like all cat's do before the lunge at there prey. He tensed his muscles and sprang. Cain and the woman looked at him sumtaneously as he was descending upon them. He landed straight on top of the woman's neck, nearly breaking it, knocking her unconcious.

Faroak backed off and crouched down. He transformed back into a human, feeling more lightheaded than ever before after a ransformation. He tried to stand up but lost his balance and fell into unconciousness.

Faroak heard the crash and rustles coming from the camp. His cat ears allowed him to hear what the other two couldn't. He looked up at Kari-Bliss and then towards the camp and started growling. He darted toward the camp as fast as he could and looked back at the others, gesturing as best as he could towards the camp (which isn't easy while running as a cat).

Subject: Quickly now!

As they were walking, Jake carefully eyed every street and ally, searching for other surivors and... whatever may try to harm them. Suddenly he heard snarling for one of the deserted allys and saw what looked like a person emerge from the darkness. It was making strange gargling noises and it looked hideous. It started to run towards them at a very quick pace.

His instincts taking over, Jake quickly reached for the bottle and lighter he had been carrying since they had left the pub, with the intention of lighting the cloth hanging out of the top of the bottle and throwing it at the creature.

(((OOC: So I guess I'm going for an explosion here, hopefully it hit's the zombie. Can you roll a hit check or something?))

Note from GM: I have edited this post to reflect a combat intention. You intend on attacking the zombie with a molotov, provided that it doesn't eat you first or get killed by someone else. I doubt that you throw the molotov if either of those cases happens.

Faroak spun around and hissed when he heard Kari-Bliss' voice. He didn't recognize her voice right away, It sounded distant. At first he didn't see her but then he used his cat eyes and spotted her about 15 yards away. He turned back to face Tresta and layed down. He looked up at him and back around at Kari-Bliss. He decided that this teen could help them and that he would let Kari-Bliss meet him herself.

I'd take the small vessel, for all I know it good be a stealth submarine.

Would he rather jump of a waterfall that COULD POSSIBLY have rocks and boulders at the bottom

OR

Jump into a volcano blind folded on a bungie cord not knowing if there is magma or not?

Subject: Animal Senses Kicking In

Suddenly Faroak heard footsteps, snapping twigs and crackig leaves. He turned in his wolf form towards the noise and sniffed. He immediately smelled something different. Magic.

He quickly galloped towards the smell as quickly as he could. He thought it was Kari-Bliss and he knew she would have trouble getting to where he was if she ever did but then he noticed a different scent. It wasn't Kari-Bliss but it was magic.

'Who else would be out in the woods besides us?' he thought. He took a moment to think and decided to stalk the Witch or Warlock. He transformed back into his human form regaining his concious. He shivered and a chill went up his spine. He was becoming more animal like every time he changed, it stressed his body and mind out to make such transformations. Once he had a chance to rest, he sighed and transformed into a bobcat. He figured if he was going to follow someone he should be one of the most graceful predators.

Faroak used is hears and nose to sense where the person was going. Before long the person was visible to his cat eyes. He layed down in the grass best suited to his fur for camoflauge. He studied the person's features. He was a boy of around Faroak's age and he looked lost. Faroak deemed him no threat and followed silently behind him. Faroak was wondering if he would ever notice him, He always loved playing games with people, even in dire situations.

My birthday is on the 21st of August on Saturday. I'm looking forward to it! But school starts 2 days afterwords so I only have 2 days to use or play with my presents (whichever it may be) as much as I want and then school will be eating up my days over and over on and on. It'll be fun at school again though because me and my friends will be back to our mischevious ways!
