How curious. I did not realize we were so anti-Pokemon. Is it the show, or the game that inspires such resentment? I profess to being unfamiliar with the former, and well aquainted with the latter.

Topic: Paranoia: Adventures in Clonesitting Subject: Sixth
Artie flicked his eyes back and forth between the two. Situations like these only strenghtened his beliefs. Such inefficiency. He could only commend Dweebz's previous group. It was logical to leave him behind, as his presence could only slow down the group, as evidenced by his wandering to the table and trying to attach himself like a parasite to ours. Not being a fan of confrontation, Artie was more than content to watch as Slipp told the interloper that he was not needed here, but was extremely disappointed in the result. His long winded digression was accurate, but unnecessary and inefficient. He took more time explaining why the clone shouldnt be here than the clone had taken actually being here.
He was distracted from his thoughts when a voice came from under the table. His first thought was how odd that was. Who or what could possibly be under the table? "-"ou, Team MAO-17859 Dot R-2! Down here! Yes, down here, under the table! Now!"
MAO-17859. That was his team. He forcibly drove his curiosity from his concious thoughts. Questions could be treasonous. In his haste to duck under the table, without knocking heads with any of his colleagues, he nearly missed Steam's comment to Dweebz. Artie almost smiled. Though he was not always a fan of Steam's brusque manner, he always appreciated the machine-like efficiency with which the clone worked.

Topic: Fire Emblem - The Sacred Stones Subject: *fades in*
I own Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, which I believe was the first non-handheld release in NA, and is the ninth game in the series. It features Ike from SSB.
Its a solid game all around. Good plot, if a bit cliche, great characters, solid dialog. Normal mode is a bit easy, but once you know the basics, kick it up to hard and its a decent challenge.
Definitely worth looking into.

It does appeal to me, so I think I'll give it the old college try.
Artie-R-FCL seems like a fun character. Other than that, no preference, I'll do my best with what I'm given.

Topic: Friend Computer wants you! Subject: *amused grin*
I'm afraid the question was purposely vague. I don't know what to ask without committing treason before we even start, should I be accepted. I"m still pretty new to rpg's, if we go by actual time spent gaming, and a lot of the games I've been in in RL have been heavy combat, with little to know rp. I joined the site to try and get into that, but I'm worried me being in such a game, because when I have trouble with my role playing, I fall back on the rules... its just how my mind works. If you're willing to take a chance, I'd definitely like to join, I just feel rather wrong-footed not knowing anything....
....which, upon further reflection, is rather the point, I would imagine.

I've been waiting for a game that looks like it has staying power, and i fervently hope this is it.
I formally request a spot on the roster, and wonder as to your feelings on the shadowdancer prestige class? I have yet to have a DM allow it, and am anxious to try it. If not, I'll work on something different, of course. I just wish to play.

Topic: Open Game Slot ~ What do YOU want to play? Subject: *laughter can be heard as i fade in*
Humans are boring? Friend of mine, I understand that we seek our fantasy worlds as an escape of the familiar, for a multitude of reasons, and humans are familiar. However, humans are capable of becoming anything you want them to become. A race limited only by your own thought and imagination in creation and playing. I'll admit they don't look as impressive as the other races in the book, lacking flashy racial abilities in favor of solid mechanics bonuses, but to call them boring? If a human character is boring, it is because the player put no life into them. Or perhaps that character is holding back from you, if it is someone else's? Perhaps there are secrets kept, mysteries not revealed? If so, then by definition they are the antithesis of boring.
Or perhaps you just find them boring. Fair enough. It's your opinion.

Now that I go to type this, it sounds rather stupid... but I'm gonna say it anyway. *Cheshire's Grin*
How about a factions game? With the players being prominent and powerful members within one/them? The idea that started this was kind of a three way world war of sorts between humans, vampires, and zombies, in a world where zombies are a different type of undead and beyond the vampire's control.... Anyway, I've always been a sucker for the plot lines and politics that come out of games with warring factions like that, especially if a few of them have heavy influence... makes for interesting interaction with the NPC's.

Hello Innmates. The orignal Cool'n'Creepy Cat is back, watchin you all again.
Sorry that I was gone so long... completed training, moved to Oregon, got thrown out of my apartment, made it back to Missouri, fought with relatives, and only just recently settled in with a friend kind enough to let me crash. How is veryone? I am more or less back now though... I hope... See you guys around.... though you might not see me....
