London is going through the industrial revolution, you are a inventor, whether ingenius or not, you are assigned to make tools that will be useful later on.
This game has three rules
failure checks, how long something takes to build and background
failure checks-roll a d100 when you are done an invention and that will determine if it is useful. Roll above for it to work, roll at or lower, it blows up in your face.
Background-determines your character, where you are from, how you were born(illegitimate, experiement, legal), whetheror not you can take pain and how you came to London.
How long something takes to build-roll a d6, that how many weeks it takes to build.
I will only define the city details, you will make the story.
you can take either 7 or 5 inventions blowing up depending on whether or not you can take pain

Coming upon a great walled city, you notice what it is made of- The gate is made of brazen bronze, the walls
were coated in gold ever so polished. You enter after a standing snow-leopard lets you in. The city is more
beautiful, silver overlaid streets, houses with gold for the main body and silver for the doorway, bronze for the
chimney. The lamp posts are made of a single piece of bronze as are the lamps themselves. In the distance
moreover, a great Citadel is present. Its walls are overlaid with platinum, the gate is seemingly made of gold. You approach and it is noticed that the rest of the Citadel is also overlaid with platinum. The people are dressed in fine clothes, though not what they seem to be. The clothing is made of woven gold, bronze and silver, all died to be either brighter or darker. A noble woman, a lioness, is passing by with clothes of woven platinum, the corsette is a darker orange than the skirt that went to the silver overlaiden ground with a 5in train and the sleeves.A sun is woven into the corsette with the highest point being just her breasts. Her crown made also of platinum, a deep red with rubies, saphires and aquamarines interlaid within the diadem itself. Her blue eyes, having the obvious look of stress and dispair, long hair neatly done with a string going down the middle held by a red rope with an elegant bow. "Lady Alenya" is whispered throughout the crowds. She approaces you desperate "Please help us, we are under attack!"

As sad as I am for having to fizzle R/V, it means the trilogy can move on into the next area
You have to be an animaloid. Basically an animal with mutations that are unique.Takley will not be in the game except in the intro and whenever another objective is going to be given. i will post creation rules once at least two people show intrest.
The game is metamorphosis alpha 1st ed, a sci-fi freeform adventure on the colony ship the Warden. you will be in a war with an amry that is somewhat the same as the people you will be serving but more brutal.

to the inn, as you have seen, there are many nice and....dare I say it...strange, people here. Beware of Eol's facelick, it is inescapable, have a towel, it will save your face from getting Eol cooties..not really but it is fun to pretend. Also, if you are ever need a cool drink just ask Igor, he'll pour ya a Froth'N'Slosh, the famous pale stale ale of the inn.

Takley voice grew deeper "I see dead people" it returned to normal. His eyes growing greener while he thought after that until they grew to be almost blinding, his pupils could not be seen. Looking back to what he believed hoping it sounded close to the mission they were going on "Why my fair Lady, oh most beautious corpse, resistance is futile, those who resist are to be defeated, innocent life shall be spared, cake shall be eaten...only one piece, I missed second breakfast. Valuables shall not be taken if they are essential to life. My friends and allies, you never know when a lock shall have to be opened, or a trap disarmed."*whisper*"or someone to chase away the chickens that get in the way."*full voice*"Small places are harder for someone that are enclothed in full armour or are taller than 3 feet as well, someone to comfort the ones who see their fathers, brothers or relatives die by very strange and direly preposterous actions!!!" *His eyes were still glowing but returning to normal* "That is why my friends, allies and commander, is why I should be allowwed to stay."

Topic: RPG Pet Peeves
Subject: It is also essential in playing...
characters who are quite unique to the world. For example, a halfing, where all halfing either are or were necromancers, recieved a curse and now see all being as living , rotting, corpses who can walk around as if they were not. As well their eyes flare green if their emotions run high. The night reign campaign, I should remind that guy about it, wait working too much. Mind you it does not help if your character is being himself and the GM is not listening.
Funny story about that character, me and the other guy were picking a lock to get into the other party members room at the inn, I failed, he didn't. He got a lantern in the face when it was opened. Took a while for the cleric in the inn to take all the glass in his face out, 20(maybe) gold later.
About the overused background, the next character i played(cause this one was so stinkin' annoying), his entire village was destroyed by tiefling and his mother killed in front of him. He was not overcome by revenge but rather a desire to rebuild his village as he could not raise all the people of his village. Escaping he got the skin of his right arm burned off and later replaced by a type od flexible plastic.

On hearing the commans to take up what he had and not be late, he rushedly gathered his stuff and forgot something....oh yes, his bag of stones. On the walk there he stopped to pause to look at the people around him...ummm....more walking dead to him. When he reached the place they were to meet, he saw her....his halfling mind forgot her name but her corpse was quite nice, and that horse-its rotting flesh was beautiful. He looked around and he recognized the corpses he was going to work with, a Hob-goblin, an Dragon thing, a fey and whatever they were.
"Any questions?" he saw her wheel around to another corpse near her. He was silent as he had not heard much and did not want to bring attention to himself as he was analyzing the ones around him. "I love being Halfling!!!!" he thought to himself. He noticed someone else....who is he, what is the role he plays. The other corpse looked battle hardened and experienced,yet, he did not know the full extent of his halfling pesonality....nor did the others.
