Prometheans sounds suitably EPIC I'm not worried about anything eol has to throw at us... I have seen this concept on multiple tv programs eg heroes and for those that like English comedy type things misfits now these are we're 2 of my favorite shows can see why I needed to jump on this like a hobbit on cake

I myself preferr to use straight classes and use the multiclass feats available for anyone that wants to hybrid but if you really must hybrid a class there is a section of it in one of the players handbooks that provides all the info you need to hybrid any class with any other it's fun to experiment and maybe you will find something surprising when you do it but above all t's meant to be fun so enjoy doing it

I have an app that cost nothing DnDice it's physics based and really emulates the dice has basic 4 6 8 10 12 20 and 100 I also have an initiative tracker ironically called initiative and iBooks has been updated to read PDF files now too most iPhones don't come with it but it's all free on the app store but then every thing I have written about here is free

first i adapted brutal throw from 3e and then build a paragon class (11+) that needs a paladin with that feat i have made the class abilities and the first power so just a utility power and daily will post when done with it if anyone is interested
