Subject: low level

i have literally just brought this group together they are 3 sessions in so they be level 5 so you know just high enough to find some better weapons to lol and that ad&d shield was a good one i think i may try to update it so it can be used thanks for the input its been stumping me for hours lol

ooooh and the whole pali finds fumbles throws practices bit was also a thought i had may have to build some specific shield feats for this powers to show in mechanics the practice he has put in again thanks

on a crit it takes head off first enemy and in a straight line hits a second would work for this process but multiple crits could change direction i suppose but hey when will that ever happen lol

Topic: captain america style paladin
Subject: captain america style paladin

one member of my new group has modeled his character after Captain America after a few tweaks and nearly 24 hours i finally caved and said yeah its a pretty good idea... i mean what character portrays a Paladin better than Captain America the problems were well the shield how do we get it to be a ranged weapon to hit multiple enemies and return to him without sacrificing defensive capability so i thought i would see what he could do he made its stupid powerful but the start was there so im currently working on it as its a paladin he suffers with a slight lack of dex so hitting with ranged is hard... so i made it str based (like a composite bow... correct me if im wrong) but it is still a work in progress so any ideas to make it more believable cause i still worry about it not working lol

Topic: Tumbleweeds, again
Subject: SPLEEN!!!!!!!!

Yeah lack of spleen affects alcohol consumption cause when the spleen is lost liver takes over its job putting it under extra stress so it's more likely to fail under consumption of alcohol so that's it for your biology lesson or today

Subject: Time consuming world building

So yeah I been building a new campaign based around a new world so yeah it's hard and well I also have the great things that come with a new relationship lol so more time consumed ATM I'm sitting here getting a few drinks down me with some mates (non alcoholic due to lack of spleen) and might get a game on

I have just got a new gaming group together and it is fragile... I have worked out my stuff and I have 5players now here is why it's fragile one of the players is my gf (don't worry she will get no special treatment or any inside info) and I have another two people that are a couple thats my problem couples are fragile and you never know when it will break down not sure it will but this is the only group I can pull together... I can only hope that the time playing will only strengthen the relationships but as we all know this is not always the case hmmm I don't think there was a point in this post but i just wanted to share

it is almost unbelievable that people don't know the difference between a great sword and a longsword its maces and morningstars i have difficulty with but yeah reserch people its the key to an almost plausable character

Subject: go for it

i love creativity i would have so much fun playing a character like that so if anyone asked me if they could play it i would just say yeah its obscure and cool and if you can pull it off well enough it will just add an extra flavor to the game

and i dont like people forgetting the rota(who brings what when and where) and turning up at mine when its supposed to be at there's than night

there isnt much i dont like about the games i have played apart form above comments i think the only thing i dont like is the lack of players in my area lol and on the opposite end of the spectrum characters who like to keep there background so vague i once played with someone (who at the time i thought was working with the dm to put his background into the story the only time vague background is good)who just either didnt think about a background or wasnt confident enough to say what they had on there mind so yeah ramble over
