Yes, if you are a Borderlands fan you have already heard the grand news.

Now for something for the mind to chew on...

It is a PerSequel (for those dancing to much to think about it) This one takes place after 1 but before 2.

You may sound the trumpets!

“It is a sad day on Pandora. The Vault Hunter known as Zero has some how killed our beloved leader, Hansom Jack and the only salvation of hope left for Pandora, the warrior.

We are trying to locate this Vault Hunter for comments but to no avail. Rumor has it he is taking some time off doing a little big game hunting.

This is Hunter Hellquist with the Hyperion truth broadcast, signing off.”

Grugg, Master of the Chin Ferret

I have those I know who also are restricted to the courtyard of XBOX. If you do not mind I will talk with them and get their name and send it to you. Perhaps a wandering friendship will happen and all of Pandora will tremble in fear of this new clan of the Inn.

Shield Wolf, Protector of the Pack

If I were capable of online play with the PC, it would be an honor to travel the sands of Pandora with you. The level of the Mechromancer would not matter. There are a few others who might be able to wander the realm that I know of.

To the Inn,

Ok good people, we have a good base now. One PS3, One XBOX, and if can press this perhaps a PC person. Let all in the Realm of Pandora know and fear the INN!

Greetings,

I am Kyle Westhelm, Battle Cleric of the Great Sea Goddess.

I have recently recruited a person… well a being that dwells in the realm of Pandora. His name is Zero or her name… but we can descuse that later, for now Zero is a he.

Zero is only level 47. It would a pleaser to meet any and all who run the land of Pandora. The Child Unit, a young monk in the order has a device that would allow us to communicate while in the realm of Pandora.

Respond here and we will make the next hurtle of becoming friends on the PS3 network.

With Honor,
Kyle Westhelm

Seeing how I am stuck with some kind of magical force, (NOT Fear) and some kind of attack left me with a wet tunic. I am still here and going nowhere. Let me also say that I hope the Evil Dark Overlord Work lightens up soon.

Ta’Arms, the Steadfast One.

Subject: What are they doing?

As the Ta’Arms pushes aside his fear of the forthcoming battle, it was then the Giggling monstrosity from the undead pits of the underworld moves with the speed of the charging undead upon a horse. Ta’Arms set his stance and made ready on swift movement his blade cut deep into his adversary. The Monster stops its change, a smile drifts across Ta’Arms face but soon went to horror as the Monster looks up from the gaping wound and lunges at. The shield of Ta’Arms deflects one clawed hand but the other slashes Ta’amrs, a scream of pain rips the cold air as the sharp teeth found exposed flesh.

Ta’Arms suddenly feels as all in his stomach wishes to find the outside once again. A cold chill from the under world grips his very bones and he feels as if mud has gripped his body and he can no longer move.

The battle continues around Ta’Arms, the confusion of battle sets in. In a blurry flash of steal and the light of the arcane arts, TapArms now hears the silence as the giggling falls silent. Still the cold grip holds his body in its cold grasp.

Ta’Arms mind was racing, to often a fallen warrior was left in the heat of battle and in his state he knew he would surly soon fall to the walking undead. These fears were put to the side when he heard a the voice of Jarenion close to him but from such a small frame came his voice but it was booming as if a giant spoke them.

‘Hey! Are you okay?’ he heard the Lady Rae ask. Ta’Arms for the first time in his life wanted to truly speak but found he could not. A sound and more creatures approach, Ta’Arms knew the others must look to the battle and knew in his heart they must carry on. Ta’Arms knew his fait.

‘I’m not strong enough to carry him. We’ll need to defend him until he recovers.’ The Lady Rae turned and readied for battle.

‘What is this? The road is no place to battle! Not one front but two! What are you doing? Even I know this and I am but fodder for Kings and Knights’ Ta’Arms long to grab this woman and tell, ‘Fall back and find another battleground.’

It was then he heard "Rally 'round Ta"Arms, mellonamin! A defensive circle to keep our foes at bay whilst he recovers his freedom or we best them all!" The Ladies blade sang in her hand. For the first time Ta’Arms just watched the beauty that was the dance of a bladesinger before battle.

His body might be held but a lump filled his throat, a swelling in his chest of pride and those he traveled with did not see him as fodder but worthy of a stand. His mind longed for a battle cry, his lungs filled with the wanting to cry out in rage, joy, fear, and courage all at once but the big man stood fast, unmoving except a single tear that escape the bonds on eye and ran down his cheek.

Subject: I did not… What is that?!

As Danon came forward and called for a stop to the advance Ta’Arms lowered his own shield slightly and stopped the rhythmic beating. A few of the others sheathed their swords; Ta’Arms could hear the blades being returned to their peaceful resting place.

As the shadowy group in the distance still trudged onward, Ta’Arms and his companions moved from a position of attack to alertness. It was then Kith-Jora’s own Jarenion called out a bit of a warning again, “Mind yourselves!”

Ta’Arms took note of this new warning and lifted his shield slightly and gripped his sword. It was then it happened! To Ta’Arms it seemed like a crack of thunder to others it was but a twig cracking under foot. Back in the day one of the soldiers would have beaten him for such a mistake. His head looked down and there it was under foot, a simple broken twig. Ta’Arms then looked up, ‘Had they heard it?’ he thought to himself.

Yes, they had. His blood ran cold. As if the springtime thaw itself pumped from his own heart. His feet grew very heavy. He had seen rotting bodies before, sometimes four or even five days old before fire or a hole in the ground consumed them. These had found neither and they moved. Their bodies seemed beyond repulse yet still they moved as the living. Some had great black orbs for eyes and still some had no eyes at all, yet Ta’Arms knew he was being watched or more like seen. As they all looked upon him or so he felt.

Ta’Arms was to shaken to notice that one stood out from the living dead, twisted and quite able to move about. Then the giggling took hold of his ears and Ta’Arms could control it no longer. He soiled his tunic.

“ONDOR ARMEK!” broke the deafening silence that held Ta’Arms and brought him back to the here and now. A mighty roar came from Ta’Arms as he once again moved forward into battle.

OOC: Ta’Arms will keep with the Lady En’Aranthea, protecting her flank as she times our arrival into combat to fallow the ranged and arcane attacks. He will, when the foes are great assist the Lady En’Aranthea if the foes are not as great will move to attack alone leading with shield fallowed with sword and then move to the next always keeping the location of the party behind and the enemy to the front. He will fall back on campfire talk (QA) to adjust his tactics as his fellow combatants see fit. He hopes in time he and those whom he travels with will become a force to reckon with. Dog will run and hide to avoid combat as much as possible unless the mage or cleric he is hiding behind needs help. Then dog will attack.

As TaArms looked down at dog, who had an odd shaped stone in his mouth now, “Not good for the Prist Galardil but good enough for you.” Ta’Armas was about to pat dog on the head when the dog stopped. Ta’Arms with out thought did also.

Dog dropped his stone, his ears sat forward on his head and his tail wagged at a very slow pace. ‘Does he want to play now?’ Dog thought as he watched Galardil skirt the tree line.

Ta’Arms then heard the Lady Rae agree with what Ta’Arms was just thinking, "Perhaps an illness has pressed its advantage with the advent of this fog?"

The dog was looking up at Ta’Arms. He wasa looked down at dog, and was about to say something when it happen… "To Arms My Friends! Yon Figures in the Mist May Be Unliving!" The dog bolted from between Ta”Arms and the Lady Rae and headed back toward the ones with the long flowing clothes, they made better hiding places to stand behind. Ta’Arms boyish face lost all emotion, shield was at the ready and sword was in hand.

"What?" Rae asked, slightly stunned.

Ta’Arms replied back to the Lady Rae, “Fight.” Only being with these fine folk for about three moons now Ta’Arms had to fight the urge to close ranks. Instead he would do it right this time. As they had talked about around the campfire so many times when the conversation turned to the fights they had been in together. How ever few they may have been Ta’Arms always seem to want to close ranks.

This time he did not. With shields raised, Ta’Arms keep himself to the Lady’s flank and the two advanced. Ta’Arms was now keeping a rhythmic beat with the hilt of his sword on his round wooded shield.

Subject: They are beaten? By whom?

As the daily march started dog found a good size stick and began to trot up and down the line as if to say, ‘Look what I have and you can’t have it.’

A few times Ta’Arms would get the stick and toss if forward of the party. Were the dog would then run up, fetch the stick and then trot back in his very proud manner.

As the day pressed on dog dropped his stick and fell in line next to Ta’Arms. It was soon after Ta’Arms noticed things in the growing mist or did not notice shadows that he thought were there. During these times the dog would nose the hand of Ta’Arms and bring him back to the path and those around him.

It was then the approaching party was noticed. The dog’s ears sat forward and he simply watched and wondered if these people would scratch his butt. Ta’Arms heard Jarenion’s words and thought, “They are just tired and beaten. I have seen many on the roads like this after a battle.” But before he spoke this to the others he thought it best to keep his mouth shut and not be fussed at.

Topic: What Evil Hides in the Hearts of Men - Q&A
Subject: Ta’Arms

About 6 months ago… Kyle Westhelm lead Ta’Arms to a small Inn, “There are those inside that will look after you. Stand tall and be the man you know you are.” Kyle then looked down at a midsized black dog, “Stay.” The dog looked up at Ta’Arms, then back at Kyle and simply sat.

Upon entering the Inn Eol Fefalas stood and spoke, “Welcome, Kyle Westhelm Battle Cleric of the Sea Goddess! Nice to have another meat-shield... *ahem*... fellow adventurer in the fold.”

Kyle smiled, “Old friend it does my heart good to know our roads will fallow the same path for a good while I hope.” Kyle looks to Master T_Catt11 with a smile. He then addresses the table of young hopefuls, “This is Ta-Arms.”

Stepping up from behind the 5’11” battle cleric was Ta-Arms.

Ta-Arms stood 6’4” and was not a man of slender build but to call him fat would be a mistake. His shoulder length hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail that covered his ears. His bangs were also left loose allowing him to hide from eyes that perhaps stared to long at him. If you caught a glimpse of his eyes they were a hazel green color and seemed a bit bright for one of his kind. The big man stepped forward and waved like a small schoolboy and simply said, “Hi.”

Kyle motioned to a chair and Ta-Arms took a seat. As he did Kyle notice a dark shape moving behind Ta-Arms, “Dog, you were told to wait outside.” A black dog looking like a cross between an Irish wolfhound and a lab, perhaps weighing in at 120 pounds, stepped out of the shadows and sat beside Ta-Arms. His muzzle was gray and the left side of his head was dinted in slightly.

The dog looked up at Kyle as it placed its head on the lap of Ta’Arms. Ta’Arms look up at Kyle, then to the other 6 people at the table and then back at Kyle and simply said, “Please.”

Kyle looked to Master T_Catt11 and with a smile, “Fine.” With that done the conversation continued…

Hearing the Lady Fae speak of potions Kyle reached into his sack and handed Ta’Arms a potion of similar color in a slightly different bottle, “This will keep you well.”…

Over the past 6 months…
Physical Description: Ta-Arms stands 6’4” and weighs in at about 220lbs but as some might look upon him and see a lack of grandeur, he seems much smaller than what he is. His hair is long and kept in a ponytail that covered his ears. His bangs were also left loose allowing him to hide from eyes that perhaps stared to long at him. If you caught a glimpse of his eyes they were a hazel green color and seemed a bit bright for one of his kind. He is wearing a wool blanket as a cloak that some one has sewn in a small bit to look like hood cap. His shirt is made of burlap bags. His pants are of a harden leather but has soften over the years of wear. His boots are ankle high soldier boots. A round wooden shield is his protection along with mix match of armor that would equal out to banded mail. The hilt of a sword on his left side could mean he is right handed. There is a fine hilt of a dagger blade on his left side. He has an empty quiver and an unstrung bow.

I will let Master T_Catt11 contact those who know more about his background later. But for now, all you good people know is that over the past 6 months he has proven himself to be a very loyal part of the group. No matter how bad you treat him he will always put his sword and himself in harms way to protect the party. The dog during combat seems to run and hide usually behind the magic users where protection is greatest. Away from combat he is there to help those who treat him well with weapon cleaning, armor cleaning, and/or any other simple task that would make life a bit easier on the road. The dog is the camp love hound, keeping close to those who are hurt giving soothing comfort, or playing fetch with one who seems a little uneasy or homesick.

Ta’Arms has been known to sit for hours and listen to others ramble on about this and that. To many outsiders he is a simple person but to those who have known him there is potential for much more.

Current time...
Marching order, someone will have to fuss at Ta’Arms and dog…

Kyle lights his pipe, ‘We have many a great DM here or GM as some like to be called. And oh what grand adventures they do put together. The many paths and roads that twist and meander through the realms found here at the Inn are almost endless. If in time our paths should flow together and for some time carry us on the same adventure then it will be my honor to walk the many battlefields of the Inn for a time with you.’

Kyle takes up his tankard and lifts it high into the air, ‘Travel well Sparrow, may the winds of chance carry you to amazing places and fill your treasure trove with many a fine song and poems of your deeds.’
