Ok wait
I thought I informed you that you could change your spells as the character's new player before you started posting, did I forget to tell you that??
As to how far down you are its about 3 feet you could attempt to climb up and the die roll would be based on any climbing skill and DEX. There would be a minus # added due to fatigue from damage and blood loss so its risky but doable.

Ouch..........
Gosh, just think how thing could have gone if I hadn't said nice things about the DM.
These seem a Hybred of Grell and Beholders. Some kind of magic users and poison tenticles.
So magic and range weapons get deflected. Not nice.

umm...err...I umm don't know?
You may well have and I simply do not remember. Starting this game did come around the same time as spring floods and my house catching fire, so it is entirely possible I didn't realize it at the time..
I sent you an email but I think your spam filter is denying me contact again.
Perhaps I could manage a polymorph into something useful...

No I got your email
I just have not had the time to respond
How far down did I slide? Could I climb up? Already Answered Above
Can you tell me is polymorph v s or m? And what is the casting time? Its normally V & S without the M so its really no fun at all Casting time is 4 seconds so you can easily cast it next round.
I also can't remember what the time frame of a round is? 10 seconds per round, 1 minute per turn, 10 rounds in a turn. At least I'm pretty sure it is if I'm wrong someone please say something
A note on spell casting I really do not use the spell component rules as I figure whatever spell you cast you have the stuff needed to do so. As for Verbal or Somatic I leave that up to each spellcaster. If you want to cry something or wave your arms in funny ways feel free to post that but it is not needed to cast the spell in this game.

Super Grell
I agree the are based on grell but given powers not normal for them. Ordinary grell do not have "force-fields".
Intersting power that rebounds spelss and blocks missile weapons.

Question
Are these things flying like grell tend to, or walking about on their tentacles?

Questions....
I've sent Tann a PM to clarify a possible action. I'll get up a post after I hear back. Because range weapons and spells are being replied I thinking of something "Outside of the Box". It could be fun.

Out side of the box?
Maggot looks up when he hears a far off voice fant and distant, 'Outside of the Box.'
He smiles to himself, 'I like outside of the box.'
Just then a poke to the back of his head with the handle of a whip, 'Back to work Maggot! Or you will feel the sting of the other end next time I come down the line.' Shouts the Evil Dark Over Lord of Work.

Huh............
Well what Tann told me didn't quite fit the plan I was working. I have to regroup and try again. Sorry for the business reference, what can I say I've been stuck in that buzz word place for a long time.
I was thinking of dropping back and giving Sireren a potion of healing to help her get back in the battle. It looks like we need direct arms combat to attack these floating creeps.
I was going to ploymorph into a Silver Dragon and chomp these vile Grellish things. But it seems there is a bit of a problem doing that.
So now I have been drinking heavily all day so there may be some really interesting stuff written. Let's see what the combination of beer and Bloody Mary's does to a weak and simple mind.
