Tough Call........

Good idea but we will need to see the map to tell how close the baddies are closing. If Cor and Lothor protect you it could work, but for that action Roan will be valnerable.

This is where we really miss the meat shields we used have.
Barreel would have been a great asset in this fight.

Okay, the tactic the enemies are doing is one I love to do in Total War games. Basically, it allows them to get two blows to our one by circling around us. The way to counter this is either to manage to push through them or back into the hallway. Since the Gith can, and I assume will, teleport behind us, I think it would be a good idea to back into the hallway and fight a more balanced fight, similar to the battle of Thermopylae (think 300). The thing is we need to get Weaver back, otherwise we leave him exposed.

We could also wait for the enemies to act, then back up. This would allow our spellcasters to blast with an area attack spells with us out of the line of fire. In my last Pathfinder game, we did this tactic to great success.

That expression, right there, is why I love DMing my group at home.

Orcs.........

Well I think the Orcs would be easier to fight than the Gith.

Sure there's a bunch but we just go barbarian on then. They are blocking or view so we need to put them down.

Peri might still a trick, the Orcs are lower intel so let me check. She might have Fear or something ready that would make them faulter.
-------------------
Peri could fly down to the door away and cast Repultion in front of the party on the Orcs.

Repulsion
Level: 6 Schools: Abjuration
Range: 0 Components: V, S, M
Duration: 1 round/2 levels Casting Time: 6
Area of Effect: 10 ft./level x 10 ft. Saving Throw: None

When this spell is cast, the wizard is able to cause all creatures in the path of the area of effect to move directly away from his person. Repulsion occurs at the speed of the creature attempting to move toward the spellcaster. The repelled creature continues to move away for a complete round even if this takes it beyond spell range. The caster can designate a new direction each round, but use of this power counts as the caster's principal action in the round. The caster can, of course, choose to do something else instead of using the repulsion attack.

The material component for this spell is a pair of small magnetized iron bars attached to two small canine statuettes, one ivory and one ebony.

Then as they back away we chop them up. Now it may make us repulsed by her but if she stays behind us it basicly drive us into them and them to back up. It would be path 10ft wide and 120 ft long into the room. We keep driving them into the path of the spell.

Thoughts? Options?

What do we know about these orcs? Are they particularly squishy? Can we expect to break the line in a turn or two?

Ok, one more time so we are all on the same page.

Look to the battle; do not falter for one person. The cause we fight for is larger than the life of just one.

But if I start crying like a little child come get me! (I am not not crying!)
Note the line above is a joke.

Also look at some spell closely, the green wall of flesh is not solid and there are some spells that only need to see where you want them and then go to that point and then go off.

Idears...

Should we focus on taking out the orcs first or hitting the rest of the room? Considering the our situation I think we might need to summon some helpers... Siréne, Aliya, and Ulthok all have summoning spells ready and they would surely even the odds.

Couple of options I'm considering for Siréne:

Ice Storm - for her this spell would be an 80ft diameter, which would basically fill the room and hit all (or at least most) of the nasty folk. I can center the blast at the back of the room to avoid hitting us, although Weaver might get hit in the cross fire...

Summon Fire Elemental - we need a fiery friend

Chaos - Oh my beloved Chaos... 40 ft cube (Does this count as an attack spell?). Most of our enemies don't get a saving throw for it. They mostly count as monsters and not fighters, right?

I really want to take out those spell casters.

My Head Hurts............

I am soooooooooo over thinking this. But I'm still not sure what to do. If Ulthok was in front he could do burning hands and toast those Orcs a bit.

Or Meteor the five Gith

Or Magic missle five Orcs

Or or or or ...........

Can 2 hit me or just 1,3? Just #1 and #2 as 3 is currently blocked as is #7 vs. Cor
So how badly burned is Alyia? is she even able to cast spells? or is she like border line unconscious? am i able to use Xin through telepathic link?? Everyone got hit by the Fireball but you all made your saves so only took half damage from it. No one took a critical from it so your all still able to fight, cast spells, use telepathy, and so on. Check the Trilogy Character Thread for actual damage taken to date.
