Topic: 3.5e Forgotten Realms: Evil Campaign
Subject: No worries Grugg

I haven't DMed a game in a while so this may start out a little slow as I am getting my barrings. You can let me know what you are available for as well as far as commitment and time that is available. That will help in the planning of things.

Subject: 3.5e Forgotten Realms: Evil Campaign

Evil Campaign in the works: Looking for 5 players seriously interested in traversing a world full of tomfoolery and shenanigans. No good alignments will be allowed and true neutral only on a case by case basis. This will be in 3.5e Forgotten Realms setting. I am still open to requests for this to be on the surface or the Underdark.

Think of this as an audition. Please post here, or PM to me, either a back-story you have created for a character in the past that you are particularly proud of, or even a made up excerpt from a nonexistent game.

I am open to creativity so please surprise me.

I’ll let you know what the story start is after I have selected the five, and you may choose how you want your character to be connected with it as part of your back story build.

Well its not an uncommon thing, there are zombie walks once or twice a year and I heard something about a Zombie Apocalypse but I am not as up to date with local goings on here in town.

There are so many other forms of silliness. I am sure you are gifted with many.

Rhyme isn't all there is.

Don't feel out of place I just got here!

Now I don't feel so silly about my little rhyme. Thanks! I knew I was amongst my own kind.

This sad threat died with my first ever post. Hope that's not a sign of things to come.

Hello fellow Inn mates. I arrived here last May, then lost my way. I have returned and chosen to stay.

Don't ask why the rhyme. I have no idea where that came from. I have been missing the inspiration that comes from writing and reading other creations so I hope to be better this time and actually get in a game or two.

So far it looks promising.

I have been enjoying reading the game and Q&A threads. I expect this will be an exciting adventure full of all kinds of surprises. It's been a while since I have had a chance to play D&D I'm glad I found you guys here.

I think that's a great idea. Helps keep it out of the game as well in the long run. I think that unless the issue effects the whole party individual disputes can be better handled one on one anyway. Since I will be new to this game its good for me to know what ground rules you are setting up for play. I'm learning a lot from reading the different game threads tonight.

Hey so I was hoping that I might be able to jump in late in the game? I've got a 3 Ranger/2 Barbarian human that I've been wanting to play but the last game I rolled her up for fell through. I'm the one game at a time kind of gal and have found myself recently without a game.

Subject: Interested

So I am brand new to play by post but I love to write and my busy life makes it hard to role play much any more. My fiance introduced me to RDI and I have been looking for a chance to get my feet wet. I have played a few years of D&D and just in the last few months gotten into White Wolf. This sounds a bit like the latter and I would be very interested in creating a caracter for your game. I love the imagery in your writing. Its like watching the opening sceen to a really good movie. I hope that you can run it here. *fingers crossed*

Topic: So who was your first?
Subject: Oh my....

So my first was only about 3 years ago. She was a 2nd edition neutral totemic druid. Nehima was half elf (1/2drow raised by a foster mother also a druid) I know its cliche. I had little experince sense before her I had always been told about the evils of D&D. However when I finally became comfortable with the idea that my soul was damned to the role playing world I jumped in head first. Not to mention that's how I managed to unintentionally steal myself a boyfriend turned fiance out of the whole deal. We more recently took those 2nd edition toons and translated them over 3.5 for the hopes of more role playing wonders in the marital years ahead.... If I can get him to stop playing 10 other games all at once. He also managed to get me hooked up with you all here in the RDI. yay
