Topic: What was your favorite table top rpg character ?
Subject: dynamic entry!
my favorite of all time is my halfling rogue named Wenzle.
Wenzle had some unique traits, first being he had 0 interest in halfling women, he preferred elves, and alternate elves(like drow). Second, he was inventive. By inventive I don't mean in the gnome tinkering kind of way, I mean it in the McGyver kind of way.
For example, his greatest moments were:
1. We were in a dungeon, crawling with bad guys, under lloths command, when we found a drider. Wenzle looked at her and somehow decided he'd do his damndest to save her. So we dispatched the group of drow in the room, and the party was about to kill the drider as well, til Wenzle jumped in front. Well as soon as they left the dungeon, she turned into a beautiful drow. Again the party tried to jump in, and again, Wenzle dove in front to save her. For the next 3 games the drow tried killing and turning Wenzle away, until she finally succumbed to his charms. ( +8charisma drow wife ftw)
2. there was a fight going on inside the tavern "The Golden Gryphon" and our party went in to investigate. Well Wenzle wanted to catch them by suprise. So he told the party to wait (which they didn't) and he went into the alley. Saw a window, and then proceeded to strap 4 decanters of endless waters to his back, and propel up into the bar. Well by some miracle i made it up to the window. Shouting "DYNAMIC ENTRY!!!" but immediately splatted against it, instead of breaking it. and then fell down, and continuously banged my head into the side of the tavern, meanwhile inside, everyone stopped fighting for a round, turned to the window, and saw Wenzle there. They laughed, and as he climbed in with the remainder of his dignity, he started battle.
Good ol Wenzle. I miss him so! Rogue, shadowdancer ftw.
