story reminded me of my druid barbarian
My favorite tactic was to turn into a monkey and use my javelins (I had special javelins made into monkey size.)
Was in a dungeon. Saw some enemies, the fighters charged up, i went monkey form, and whipped out my javelins.
First javelin throw rolled a 1. fail check resulted in me hitting my allied fighter. Rolled a 20 to hit him, he didnt like that very much.
Second javelin, rolled a 1. Fail check resulted AGAIN in hitting THE SAME fighter. Rolled a 20, AGAIN. He wasnt happy.
Third javelin, ROLLED a 1! Fail check resulted in THE SAME fighter. i rolled like a 15, still hit. This time I hurt him to where the enemy thought I was on they're team. Killed the poor fighter and congratulated me...
I never laughed so hard, but felt so bad.
Druid/barbarians are a fun class though.
