Quick Question

Is there a clasp which lacks a lock which we could secure with a tied piece of tunic or something?

That would certainly take care of the lack of a lock.

Chest

Yeah, most chest have some manner of securing the lid, failing that, a simple piece of rope around the chest should secure it from just flopping open normally. Just don't drop it.

Heh Heh

There is No Clasp for securing the lid (that does not quite close over the Gold Coins!) on the Chest of Treasure!

Chest

No clasp? What kind of chest is this? It totally fails on it's mission to secure it's contents.

Ok, well I say we should remove enough coins to get the lid to close and then use rope to wrap around the chest a couple times to properly secure it.

Anyone else have an idea? If not, I say we go with it.

.

Rope works. Prob have to take out some coins to be able to carry it anyway. Gold is heavy!

????????

How full was It? It already had a bunch of gold taken out and put in the sack. I'd figure at least a fouth was removed and that should have it below the rim to prevent spillage. This also harkens back to where I suggested dumping the Orc chest and splitting the human gold load between the chests to make them easier to carry, Bart and Vincent could still do that and carry that one, actually getting more gold.

Explanation

The Human Round Gold Coins were heaped up over the top of the Treasure Chest, there are still a bunch of Human Round Gold Coins spread out all over the Steps leading down, so probably some extra Gold was brought down in Sacks and piled on top of the other coins, but since there is no trace of any sacks, it is mere conjecture!

I had a feeling there wouldn't be a clasp.

Well

At least the Seekers did not encounter a hidden Kobald tunnel or a bunch of Vampires guarding the Gold Coins!
